the farm is far from my vegetable farm, so I don't have time to go there because of vegetables workload. I only send my boys to do weeding there once in a month, am told yam leaves has dried all, cocoyam and cassava intercrop with is fine too. Am yet to harvest a single heap! Am doing the next in my vegetable area so I can update it regularly.

Did you put those two (manure and lime in the hole b4 planting.

So far I have been using blood(cooked) and eggshells(dissolved with lemon juice).

I just described how to apply lime. Have never use it in my personal farm, yes you can add two and then transplant.

This is my first time farming tomatoe in bush (only planted unknown varieties and uc82 in my garden).

I have access to chiken droppings and am planning on buying chemical fertilizers to support it, (which fertilizer do you think is best I guy)

I have saaf and sharp shooter I have been using in my garden (do u think I should add more or wait for signs).

And am not worried of nematodes since the previous farmers has been using the land for Cucumber farming.

My location is rivers state.

never used that type of irrigation system before, so I don't know maybe it will work. Although am not planting again this year, but I will prefer plantinum than diva for this coming weather.

get blue snow or any fungicide that has same active ingredient, use 30ml per 16lit. Spray in the evening...

Since January this year I have been a follower of this thread. I have read and gain a lot. Now it's timd to try something with what I have gained so far. I bought some fresh tomatoes and extracted the seed, I did the nursery and transplanting on October 1st 2023. I know a lot of people are going to laugh me for not buying hybrid seed, but there is no harm in trying. I have transplanted 150 stand, i will transplant 100-150 more by next week

if you plant October, Then harvest Nov-dec make sense! I will not be planting again because am preparing for holiday, and I have lots of tomato stand that will be ready for harvest from October ending till early January.
