In the north se have a single season so we just harvest them dry but my new farm is in the south where they have two seasons hence my confusion

I don't think you can introduce crop to two months cassava because it's almost ready to cover, hence any crop interop by that time will do well. 2. You want beans to dry and thrash by July in south west NIGERIA? it will not be possible Sir because we will be in rain peak!

two issues there, caterpillar and end rot.1. For caterpillar, introduce caterpillar force ( insecticide) to your plant. 2. For end rot, introduce calcium to your plant at early stage, like when you start noticing fruiting.

1.I add fungicide because I notice my seedlings first two leaf show a sign of drying up at day 9 and the environment is my farmland and I use palm font to make tent to protect the seedlings after I raise mosquito net to cover it (2 ) I don't mixed anything with my cocopeat I only mixed with water then I show my seed (3) I place my tray on soil but sprickle some manure before I place them

next time build little green house for your nursery, seedling need some level of heat to perform well NOT direct sun or too cool! Spray fungicide to seedling may also increase stress.

why do you add fungicide to your seedling at that stage? What is the environment look like? Do you add anything with cocopeat or raise bed? Many things can cause it, stress, heat or things you add. If you provide answers to those questions maybe we can help!

so far the manure is dry/cure completely, once you apply it, mix it with the soil on the ridges then plant anytime you want.

you are right the way you arrange the process. Adding lime to your soil is not compulsory or necessary unless your farm land demand it. Either cow dung or chicken litter should be at least A month dry before you use it. I wait for like 3 month or over before I use mine, that is why it is always good to plan ahead! GOOD LUCK!

yes sure. Just as striker is for maize plant, star force for cassava plant so is potasun for tomatoes plant.

1. A month 2. 150ml per 16l. If it touch tomato plant it will not kill it. I always do ring weeding then spray furrow.

cucumber is a sensitive crop, the best approach is clear,pack, burn, ridge then plant. If it is cassava or maize I can suggest force urion for you, and if you try such herbicide on cucumber it will not germinate.

Hello my ogas, please what could be the problem on my tomato nursery. This is the first time I'm experiencing this. The nursery is 3 weeks already and yet the germination rate is very very slow. All normal procedure was followed.

if you are being following this process and getting good result before, mean your cocopeat is not good. If this is your first time of placing your seedling trays on nylon, maybe the root as shoot out looking for nutrients but none may cause the stunt growth.

potasun is very effective if your unwanted weed is grass. It will kill all the Grass and leave tomato and some broad leaves.

sorry about that! If you have being given all the nursery the same attention and treatment, then the only difference I see is sunlight penetration. Next time buy like 2 square meters of green house cover and do simple nursery house to experience uniform and healthy nursery.

I was in market this morning to buy some stuff, and ask price of crate of tomato which range between 17-15k. If the price can be this high now what will June-july look like?

This will be like continuation. The land clearing and heaping was done by December, and I planted it this January, did mulching this month (February) this particular one is my vegetable farm so no excuse for delay update. I couldn't finish the thread last year because I was super busy with tomato farm, and the yam farm is far. I was just sending boys to do the weeding. The yam farm serve it purpose, give my mum, family and dash out during the festival period. The yam still remains 😅😅😅😅..
