Pastor Olu T: This is the problem with all we want definition for everything, and anything that dont fit or fit into the concept our little mind created is taken or discarded as the case maybe.

Do not be deceived God cant be mocked, for whatever a man sows that he shall reap. If you sow to the flesh, u shall of the flesh reap corruption, and if you sow to the spirit u shall of the spirit reap life everlasting!
God bless u.

xxKofoxx: Leave the judgement for God angry
this is a very dangerous statement bc it is wrong and a misinterpretation of the bible. Wrong bc u cannot leave a sinner to continue sinning until he face judgement after death or in the last days. Misinterpretation bc many do not understand wot the bible said about judgement. U can judge a sinner by telling him to come out frm hiis sin, but u cannot condemn him by saying that he would go to hell. That kind of judgement is left for God. If u say dat sth is wrong, u have judged already (check ur dictionary). The bible allow us to make such judgements.

abubaka101: Though I do not support some of the attitudes displayed by Nigerian religious leaders, I do feel this man's statement is remarkable. "Even if I send someone from hell they would still not listen": I feel this goes out to all those hypocrites deceiving people, and to those ignorant ones too... Always do what is right in the face of God, because the way of man is not the way of God...
""Even if I send someone from hell they would still not listen"" Maybe, God is trying to proove that statement now. God didnt say "i would not send somebody from hell", he said "even if ..."

Christianity EtcRe: Bitter Truth About Blessed Virgin Mary by FarmTech(m): 3:12pm On Dec 17, 2013
JENMAUCY: Dear fijiano,I dnt think there is need calling names here, you can believe or leave it because you are entitle to your own opinion...but the truth still remains that virgin mary is blessed,as the op said,go to luke 1:27_28,here the angel told her that she is favoured and blessed among women, remember its a message from God,and I know that the angel deliver the message the way the sender ask him to. Let's go futher to verse 40-42,elizabeth stil cal her blessed, because of what she felt immediately she step into her home,it doesn't mean that the angel or elizabeth is worshiping her rather they apreciate what she accepted to do...or did you forget that heaven and earth await her answer after the angel have delivered the message? Yes heaven waits to hear her answer and in verse 38 she said behold am the handmaid of the Lord be it done to me according to thy word...do you know what it means? Even the angel can't leave without hearing her opinion on the message..then in verse 43 ,elizabeth asked her who am I that the mother of my Lord should come to me? My dear friends the angel $ elizabeth greeting makes up the hail mary you people hear today...hail mary full of grace the Lord is with you(angel..luk 1:28 )...blessed aree you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb (elizabeth luk 1:42 ) then the catholic church taking a look @ what happened at canna in that wedding feast, the role mary played in that miracle that takes place there decides to ask for her intercession not praying to hher! If she can intercede when she is not asked ,what did you think will hapen when she is asked to? She talked to her son and he oblige her on earth even when he is not ready to perform..or do you think Jesus is not aware that the drink has finished? That is where holy mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and till the hour of our death....
did any disciples of Christ "honored" Mary the way u people do? Did they prayed thru Mary, Stephen etc? A lot is wrong with the catholic doctrin.

The Unbeatable: @ farm tech:

We have different goat breeds in nigerria namely;
Red bororo, west african long legged goat, west african dwarf goat. These are the ones I can identify myself and can talk about. To the best of my knowledge, the west african dwarf goat is best suited to the west and south(edo, delta). They are hardy(rugged, rarely sick, strong) and gives delicious meat especially in "obe ata".
Cost price of weaners is around 3-4k depending on size and location and adult sells for 13- 18k. It is a good business but you can not raise them well in confine( I stand to be corrected anyway but this is what I have known with experience).
thank u very much for your answer. I have read about the boer goat which is one of the best meat goat in the world. I am looking forward to rearing this type of goat. But I will first visit min of agric and some agric departments in some universities to see wot they have to say about it. If u know anything about the goat, pls share.

MUST READ FOR EVERYONE: Rom 13:4 - For the one in authority is God's servant for ur good. But if u do wrong be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrong doers... From here, u can see that God have given rulers authority to kill or punish wrong doers. I want u to notice one thing in verse 3 which says: for rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong... What I understand here is that once a government start opppressing its people, the bible no longer recognize that gov as a ruler, and so the people can rebel and get a new ruler for themselves.
Christianity EtcRe: Forces Like Police, Soldier, Navy Etc Has No Place In Heaven by FarmTech(m): 4:16pm On Dec 01, 2013
The bible advised us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Jesus Christ came to save u from fearful hell. Speaking about hell is v important bc even Jesus himself spoke about it. Hw can u avoid hell when no one tells u hw horrible it is? Or are u the type of christian that just want God's blessing without His righteouness?
quivah: Guess we misunderstood you..
But your stories from people from hell only bring fears to the heart of people.. this is not the reason Jesus came..

Some of your personal beliefs are misleading.
Please stop them! And help people work toward their salvation not instil fear! with your usual "if you do this, you go to hell" evangelism.

As regards to this, joining the army is not the issue. It has nothing to do with your spiritual life, just like the lawyers..you are actually helping your neighbours as the Lord requested..

Let the Holy Spirit put you through.

The Unbeatable: @ bawelat,
Irrespective of your "insincerity" today, I will still respond to your question on "goatry"

Goatry is not a business for starters! The business appreciate over time and you will need to have a source of income. You can't depend on funds from your goatry business to give you your daily food if not you will kill the business yourself!
Now, let's get to business. Answer these questions sharp sharp
1. How much can you aFford to start the business?
2 your location matters. It will influence your choice of breed to buy.
3 availability of "range" ( do you have a fence house? Goats don't grow while tied to a stake. They grow if allowed to walk arround. That's the secret!
4 is there protection against pilferry (thieves/ ole) or poisoning from bad people?
5 have you done market research in your area about the marketting of goats?
You will need a vet doctor, can you afford it? If not befriend one of them o ( laughing)
6 you need shelter against adverse weather conditions. ( Do you know that water don't touch some parts on the head of goats? Dats why they shake their head while running for shelter on a rainny day)
7 can you cope with the menance of their bleep and dungs?
8Can you make pap and milk and spoon feed them if they are sick and can't eat? Especially the young ones!

These are some of the questions I can remember now. Please answer them in your heart and if you are bold and sure enough? Reply my questions here and let's discuss further.
You can still count on me if need be but you need to be straight forward with me. If you don't know, before I make any post, I still go back and read previous posts before replying any question or making any comment.

Evalastingly at it,
The unbeatable.
Mind you, dis is my nairaland name oooo! I am a cool Yoruba man and agric is my PRIDE!!!

Emma Ajayi: I have 40 broilers and 40 cockrels which l bought at day old about 10 weeks back.
Just employing this as a trial run. We started with Starter Vital Feeds for a month plus after which we started with Finisher at 8weeks plus. The broilers consume a lot more than the cockrels. I had to resort to buying local foods for them from experts at Abbatoir which cost lesser. The fact is that they were not rushing the food as they used to rush the Vital Feeds, but now they are getting used to it.
At each stage, we had to mix their drinking water based on specification by the Vet. Practitioner.
Both the broiler and cockrels now attack one another maybe because of not being promptly fed. Some of them have lost their eyes in the attacks which necessitated moving them to seperate cage. I also suspect that viruses attacked them thereby affecting their eyes. This attract the the attention of others who keep on pecking them in the affected parts.
Still need invite expert to inspect them and prescribe what other things we need to do as they are approaching 11 weeks.
We have lost 4 of them to dizziness and probably illness.
After this we intend to build a shed that will house about 2000 birds later.
while switching from one feed to the other, do so gradually so that the birds will get use to the new feed. Start by mixing a small quantity of the new feed with the old feed. Then gradually increase the quantity of the new feed and decrease that of the old feed. This should last for about 1-2 weeks. Wrt housing broilers and layers 2gether, i dont think it is a good idea because of disease transmission. The cockerel will also be causing problem by trying to mate the broilers. That swelling of the eyes, some diseases like mycoplasma, infectious coryza, infectious bronchitis etc can cause that. A dirty house can emit ammonia which can also lead to swelling of the eyes and blindness. If ur house is dirty, clean it and always keep the litter in good condition - i.e. Keep it loose and dry, not caked and wet. Btw, which litter material do u use?

n0m0705: Please I am very interested in how effective the wire merge you use for the floor is , please share with pictures.
My intension for building it was bc of coccidiosis. It is a very deadly disease for small chicks but as they grow, they develop resistance to the disease. The disease can be transmitted through contact with droppings. So I intended to use the wire mesh to reduce this contact - I did not use it though, bc I couldn't finance building it to completion. What I did was to place it on the floor and allow the birds to move in and out of it.

5p1naz: I have zero experience in snail farming practically but vast knowledge when it comes to theory. I have been taught one on one... Read books and attended seminars in Nigeria and Ghana. Truth is I still wasn't convinced about the profitability of snail farming because these guys who teach these snail farming at these events don't even drive a car.

Not that I am here to boast or anything, I already have businesses giving me money, so if I can't. Get first hand facts about. Returns on an investment I immediately loose interest in the business.

Now the major reason why I am talking so much is this, first all I would say Isa and unbeatable, I think you guys are doing something good here that should not go "uncommended", taking time out of your busy schedules to educate us is commendable. Now the reason for my post, like I said earlier I have a lot of Infos on snail farming theoretically but never practically... I've tried and tried to get correct information on income and expenses locally but Nigerians are just not forth coming... All they are interested in selling to you is their book or more seminars.

I visited these guys farm in Lagos and I told him i already had enough seminars.. I just needed clarification on a number of things, he told me point blank he won't disclose anything to me until I paid for his seminar. I was disgusted.

So Late last month i went for a 2weeks holiday in Australia, and I met this Australian lady also into snail farming... Even though our african snails are different from their snail type, the farming practices are so much identical.. I was amazed at how much help and info she was willing to give out. She told me all I wanted to know.. I spent a whole week on her farm and we worked together all day.. She was just amazing. Now I know a lot better. I would try to use some of her skills here in Nigeria and hope I can make it bigger than hers. undecided grin

Her farm is on a 3 acre and she produces 10000 snails every week.

Moral of the story: Africans would forever remain undeveloped and poor if they do not emulate the attitude of the aussy lady, Isa & unbeatable.

I would start my farm soon on a 1 PLOt and see how it goes. Then I would enlarge it if successful. Whilst clearing the one plot of land, we found several snails (acharchatina marginata) which I kept in an enclosed space, 2 of which have just laid eggs. 1 didn't count the first Set of eggs from the first snail, But the 2nd egg was laid yesterday morning and I counted 50. That's a good start and promising. Anyways, I would order for my first set of breeders once the coco yam start to grow as shades on the land. And I would upload the egg pic as soon as I get on my pc. I'm still a learner and I would appreciate any suggestion.

This is just my experience so far...

Cheers

boluwajokosegun: Good thinking, A friend just started with two goats in two years he has 8 goats all together. There is no established commercial goat farm in the west or east but there is very high demand for goats in those regions, only recently ogun state just establish one, so an opportunity abound for any investor who want to go into goat farming, perticular in those part of the country with year round green vegetation that is why the fulani greeze their cattle to those part & it feed on farmers's crops which in turn result to fight.
If u are interested in setting up a goat farming them please employ expert with good feasibility study.
You can rent rent an acre of land in oyo state close to ibadan at N5k per year or buy for N150k an acre close to farm settlement.
For comprehensive feasibility study , goat rearing manual or free advice please call Gbenga on 08182355047 or eesteeresources@gmail.com.
thanks for the reply. Where is the goat farm located in Ogun state? I may want to take a look.

they are dead and will soon be ressurected when the time comes. And moses was not praying thru them as u people pray thru mary and the apostles. God of the living means that it is only the living that can call on God, nt the dead.
