Oct 20: hi.am new here but i ve bn a follower of your discussions here.i have problem filling my ds 160 form.after making my us visa fee payment in april.i made a mistake with my sponsors address in usa and had to make correction.i wrongly entered a wrong password and could nt get an appointment.my uncle gave me a guy's number at v.i to help wt a early day of appointment which he cld nt get.yesterday.i went to d cafe to pick a date with a family frnd of mine but i could nt pick a date due to the wrong password i typed then and was told an applicant with the name iniyadi has d same detils and was asked to send an email to an add.which i did.am confused.i dnt knw if it has bn used for another applicant by the guy i gave my details to secure a date for me.sirs ur advice are needed.thank

Your story is not so clear to me but if I understood you right, you once gave someone your details to get an appointment for you, it probably that the person has opened an account with the details you gave to him, so please kindly get in touch with the person and demand for some explainations from the person.

Bank statement should be yours or your sponsors', if you must use business account statement, you may have to show a proof that the business belongs to you or consent letter from the shareholders, if applicable.

Myself and my husband had an interview last week at the US consulate in Lagos . The interview went on fine until the interviewer asked us how many kids do we have and how long have we been married. We have been married for over 10 years without an issue was our response , after which he asked if we are going to seek medical treatment and our response was No . We are going on vacation.

VO: Your VISA would be issued but it will undergo an administrative proceeding .

He gave us a preprinted letter where he marked for furhter administrative proceeding which might likely take 60 days within which time we are not to contact the consulate.

Can you advice on what our chances are. Thanks for everyone understanding

My cousin is currently having a challenge booking an appointment. The system keeps saying his details had been used with a different e-mail address in the past, hence he wasn't allowed to move further in scheduling the appointment.

He was trying to use a tout initially to book his appointment who he couldn't find till now. He was even forced to go and pay another visa fee as a result.

What can be done to correct this anomaly as he doesn't know the e-mail the tout created on his behalf to book the initial appointment?

onatisi: even that mama chichi story is shady ,she entered a car with three men at 3am in the morning , she was drunk ,she fell unconscious , realized they were on the way to badagry ,the question here is wen she wok up was the other victim man still sleeping or was he awake?when she started struggling with the driver did the other man joined too ?and when she jumped,why did she have to remove all her clothes?this is the funny aspect why did she pull off her clothes?she went inside a swamp at 3am in the morning?and all this time she still has her phone with her .

this is my own version or theory i may be wrong though , this madam chichi is a woman friend of one of the men ,they left the bar together hoping to go to the mans house for a good time , the man must have decided to share her with his friend and decided to take her to another place or house , waking up and sensing that she might have been lured into a trap she got out of the car , i believe he kidnap story is just to cover her adulterous character or affair with the man ,especially if she is married and have kids , the only way to prove where she was at that time of the night with 3men is to say she was kidnapped , the issue of the bribe been offered must have been done by the chief to make the whole thing die down especially if he too is married , this is just an assumption

And for the chief, he's intention was definitely not to kidnap or use them for ritual, maybe, he wanted to totori the woman but the whole thing backfired.

Hmm, something is just not adding up here. I think all of them were drunk then and the offering of bribe by the chief was simply to avoid the impending wahala. Moreover, it could be that both the chief and the purported second victim actually
came back to pick mama chichi. One thing remains clear, the three knew each other, hence the knowing of each other's phone number.

Pls i ve a question: i ve already booked interview date for nov 14 and jst discovered d passport wit which i booked d interview appointment will be expiring february. I check and realised my passport need too be valid for @ least 6months ahead of my interview. I ve gotten a new passport now...My wuestion is do i need to book another appointment wit d new passport. ( Cos d passport nos r different) or i shld go with both passports Need ur help asap especially those experienced or dat ve encountered this kind of prob before. Thanks sirs/mas

You don't have to schedule another appointment but you may have to refill another Visa form.

For US embassy Abuja, it is not a problem and I suppose it's also obtainable in Lagos, however, calling them for confirmation is just ok.

I disagree to this, it happens everywhere, it becomes degrading when your intent is to go and donate some relief materials to the flood victims in the floodrida USA and I doubt that for now but for business/adventure wise, it is congratulatory. you know why, it is a prerequisite to the success of your entire set goal, and believe me, it is the hardest and the most troublesome part.
Maybe, a little check on what other foreigners go through seeking a Visa to Nigeria would show you that it is not easy in either side. So every progressive stage reached should be celebrated.

yeah, I no doubt the genuineness of your visa intentions but the VO must had thought otherwise, in other wards you can't afford to change the purpose of your trip in another application for obvious reason unless in a six months time.
