Hi,

I need an urgent assistance with respect to my US visa B1/B2 renewal. I applied for drop box waiver interview and the appointment date was a week to the conference I am attending. I requested for an emergency appointment which was not granted. My question now is, is it possible to convert the drop box waiver appointment to physical interview appointment?

If yes, how do I go about it?

Hi, you don't have to pay another fee, look for another date , it wasn't only your own, all the appointments for that day were cancelled, send your complaint to them via feedback, they shoud be able to reschedule for you since yours was F1

This is bad, however, crime rate has risen everywhere in Nigeria. They attack everyone irrespective of your tribe and religion.
This to me has nothing to do with tribe. After all, criminality have always been part of the society. It only takes the efforts of a responsible government to put it in check

It will not affect your valid B1B2 visa, only that you can't use B1B2 in place of F1 while in the US.

Hello, in all honesty, the two cases are not related, you can go ahead and apply, your qualification for either of the visa category are not exactly the same, the two visa category are completely different and judgment criteria varies too.

Goto the feedback link of the appointment profile and send a message to the online support team to help you fix the error, you have to attach the passport data page too.

It should have been ID cards like PVC, Intl passport, national ID and drivers license and not just PVC only.
Things will get difficult at the aftermath of 2019, they will have to recoup else, nothing is free even in Freetown.

Any way, as long as you PVC is not going to be used as collateral or it won't be given on the election day.I am good.

Please I need an urgent reply. My cousin was booked for an interview at the US embassy Abuja for tomorrow, 15th. She actually left Lagos for Abuja this morning, only for her to receive a mail around 6pm this evening that the Abuja embassy will not be conducting interviews on the 15th, 16th and 17th. Her expected date of travel is 23rd August, that's next week Thursday. She is supposed to attend an older cousins wedding on the 25th.

My question is, considering this unexpected change, is it possible for the interview to be held before the expected date of travel?

If it doesn't take place, and the date of travel passes, does it mean automatic rejection?

Do you think she should wait in Abuja to know if a new date will be fixed soon enough?

Please I need a reply as she is considering travelling back to Lagos tomorrow. I just need an informed view on this issue. Anybody who has an answer should please reply. Thank you
