President Of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has described the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as thieves.

Buhari insisted that IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu are thieves promoting terrorism.

The president argued that IPOB is not defending Christians in the Southeast.

In a statement by his mouthpiece, Garba Shehu, the president lamented the group’s attack on police stations and government facilities in the Southeast, NAN reports.

Buhari maintained that the Kanu-led group are not freedom fighters.

The statement reads partly: “Further afield in the South-East, IPOB are not struggling for freedom when they attack police stations and property, but rather committing acts of terrorism,” to steal money.

“IPOB is not defending Christians, as their highly paid foreign lobbyists claim when almost every citizen of those states they terrorize is uniformly Christian.”

The president also appealed to Nigerians to unite against, “those who seek to divide us for their own nefarious financial and political gain.”

Leader Of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB),  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to  disclosing of FG to prosecute 400 high profile Nigerians suspected of sponsoring terrorism.

The country’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammed spoke at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to Mohammed, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami had announced that the Federal Government was set to prosecute 400 suspects arrested for allegedly funding terrorism.

The minister stated that the development was unprecedented and that it was a testament to the government’s determination to decisively tackle terrorism and other violent crimes.

Mohammed said the government would continue with these efforts to restore peace and security.

He appealed to all Nigerians to play their part in lowering the palpable tension in the polity as a result of the security challenges.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Very Excited As Southern Governors Meet For The First Time Since 1914

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, has expressed excitement over the meeting between the Southern Governors in Ahaba (Asaba).

The governors, under the aegis of the Southern Nigeria Governors Forum (SNGF), said they condemned open grazing of animals and movement of cattle from the northern part of the country to the south.

The governors also called for a national conference to determine national questions bothering on the nature of Nigeria’s federalism and federal character in national appointments, among other issues.

Southern Governors banned open grazing in 17 Southern States of the Federation.

They noted development and population growth had put pressure on available land and increased the prospects of conflict between migrating herders and local populations in the South.

They also challenged the Federal Government to urgently restructure the nation to address the rising agitations and insecurity across the Federation.

Southern Governors Forum (SGF) has resolved on immediate ban of open grazing across the Southern part of Nigeria as they requested for a national dialogue on restructuring.

The meeting which was held yesterday in Asaba had in attendance 15 Governors from South- West, South-East, South- South, including two Deputy Governors from Imo and Akwa Ibom State while two others Governors of Cross Rivers and Osun State were absent.

Reading the 12 point communique on behalf of the 17 Governors after a closed door meeting in Asaba, Chairman of Southern Governors Forum, Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu urged the President to address the Nation over the Insecurity challenge in view to regain trust of the people.

“It is observed that the incursion of armed robbers, criminals and bandits into Southern part of the country has presented a severe security challenge such that citizens are not able to love their normal lives”.

They consequently resolved against open grazing or cattle in the Southern Nigeria as they called on Federal Government to develop alternative and modern livestock management systems.

“The progress of the nation requires that urgent and bold steps be taken to restructure the Nigeria Federation leading to evolution of state police, review of revenue allocation formula in favor of the sub -national government and creation of other institutions which legitimately advance our commitment to the true practice of federalism”.

Hence, they expressed concern on the economic implications of another lockdown on the country.

“We suggest greater coordination and cooperation between Federal and State Governments in evolving strategies for dealing with the pandemic.”

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed to haunt down and kill any commanding officer of the Nigerian security agencies that kills members of his group.

Recall that a yet-to-be-identified Nigerian soldier had warned residents of Orlu town in Imo State to either relocate or be vigilant as some personnel had allegedly been given a shoot-on-sight order in the ongoing battle with the Eastern Security Network operatives.

In the audio obtained by FastnewsNG, the soldier said, “They first carried us (deployed us) to Maiduguri (Borno State). Then, 25 of us came back hoping that the matter was ended. Then they carried us to 302 Artillery, Onitsha. All of us were inside the barracks in Onitsha till 12 pm this afternoon.

“When the fight ended in Orlu, the commander now said anybody we see, we should fire them.

“I beg you, because of God, if your person is in Orlu, from now till Monday, try to inform them. Tell them to change the location for now. Immediately I left the barracks, the commander said I was going out to expose them and make sure they get me and kill me.

“See the clothes that I am putting on. I didn’t buy these clothes with my money, if you follow this line, I was given these clothes and I have kept my uniform.”

Reacting in a statement by IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, Nnamdi Kanu warned that the uniform or rank of such a soldier or policeman will not shield him from the punishment.

The wanted IPOB leader added that the pro-Biafra group keeps records and takes time to act.

He said, “If you’re a commander of troops in the Nigerian army or police, hear this: That you’re wearing a uniform and adorned in a rank does not make you invincible. Over 25 Nigerian Soldiers Have So Far Been Killed In Orlu Battle

Family Writers Press International can authoritatively confirmed that over twenty five (25) Nigerian soldiers as at press time, have so far lost their lives in a battle at Orlu, Imo State, Biafraland, within the last forty eight (48) hours.

Intelligence gathered from a reliable source, has it that the deployed Nigerian soldiers have been engaged in fierce confrontations since hostility began.

Reports of engagement have completely been censored. Recall that within the past few days, truck loads of the Nigerian soldiers with heavy weaponry, were moved to Orlu, to kill, maim and destroy.

Many unarmed, innocent civilians have been subjected to days of grueling dehumanization and summary executions by the soldiers, under the guise of searching for "Unknown Gunmen" and the Operatives of Eastern Security Network (ESN).

David Umahi, Ebonyi State Governor yesterday, said his government was ready to negotiate with unknown gunmen and empower them only if they are ready to turn a new leaf and repent.

Umahi stated this at the Grand Finale of a seven-day prayer and fasting at the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, condemning the killing of policemen and burning of police stations within the Southeast region.

Primate Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has noted that Nigeria would split.

Prime Minister Primate Ayodele noted that the division of Nigeria would not be without Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples Biafra, IPOB, or Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

Primate Ayodele said other major powers such as the spirit of Nigerian nationalism, Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa would lead to a peaceful division of Nigeria.

He warned that if Nigerians failed to appease the spirit of Tafa-Balewa and the other powerful forces, the country would be divided peacefully.

Prime Minister Ayodele, however, urged the government not to ignore the cries of IPOB and those who disrupted the Oduduwa Republic as this would also lead to the disintegration of the country.

According to Primate Ayodele: “The spirit of Igbo is no more in Nigeria, and since their spirit is no more in Nigeria, the country will break peacefully. It’s not this IPOB, Oduduwa, that will break Nigeria. There is a powerful force that will break the country if we don’t appease it.

“Some people like Tafa Balewa were killed, the spirit of Tafawa Balewa is fighting, why will we not appease his spirit? Instead, we say Nigeria should be in unity; we can’t be in peace or unity again. Nigeria will just be facing one problem to another.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have warned youths in the Southeast against joining the newly established security outfit for the region, known as Ebube Agu to spy its own Eastern Security Network, ESN.

IPOB gave the warning on Tuesday via a statement issued by its spokesman, Emma Powerful.

IPOB, in the statement, condemned the formation of another security network by the Southeastern Governors, stating that the establishment of Ebubeagu was against the already existing ESN.

The statement reads in part: “Biafrans will not be deceived by this purported EBUBE AGU security outfit which is a huge joke. South-East governors set up the outfit probably to fulfil all righteousness or to spy on ESN to curry favour from their Fulani slave masters.

“We, therefore, warn our youths to have nothing to do with the so-called Ebube agu security outfit which was ostensibly formed to sabotage IPOB and ESN. Anyone who neglects this warning and thinks he can hide under the cloak of EBUBE AGU to spy on ESN should be prepared to join his ancestors.

“The protection of all Biafrans is our priority, and we are prepared to sacrifice anything to achieve this. We are aware of Fulani terrorists’ plans to decimate indigenous tribes in Nigeria. We are also aware of the federal government’s tacit support for this evil agenda. But IPOB and ESN promise them that no inch of our land will be given to Fulani terrorists herdsmen in the East,” the statement added.

Femi Adesina wrote, “PMB appoints new Service Chiefs. Maj Gen LEO Irabor, CDS, Maj Gen I Attahiru, Army, Rear Adm AZ Gambo, Navy, AVM IO Alao, Air Force.

“He congratulates outgoing Service Chiefs on efforts to bring enduring peace to the country.”

Those affected are Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; and
– Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.

The new Service Chiefs are: Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.

President Of Nigeria, President Buhari has said that the major challenge Africa faces is the threat of terrorist activities and other crimes.

He said the continent must achieve a new trajectory of peace, security and stability.

President Buhari made the call at the 14th extra-ordinary session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) on ‘Silencing the Gun’, held virtually on Sunday.

Lagos Police Command has Vowed To Suppress Any Protest In Lagos.

Demonstrations are expected to resume on Monday December 7, 2020 at designated locations across the metropolis.

Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Sunday said “unpatriotic individuals and groups are planning to embark on the replica of recent violent End SARS protest”.

He said the intelligence revealed that the sponsors plan to lure unsuspecting Lagosians, especially youths, to join.

The Police reminded everyone that the Government of Lagos State, businesses, individuals, security agencies and families have recovered from the civil disorder in October.

“Lagos State is still nurturing the wounds orchestrated by some violent End SARS protesters and not fit to accommodate such protest for now.

“Lagos State Police Command therefore warns those who might want to disguise under End SARS protest to cause another set of mayhem in the state, to desist from such plans.”

The statement stressed that the police and other agencies will not fold their arms and allow another anarchy.

The command warned parents and guardians to discourage their children and wards against protest.

It added that “any unlawful gathering, procession or protest will be suppressed professionally in accordance with the provisions of the law”.

The police advised residents to go about their lawful activities, assuring that all hands are on deck to maintain law and order.

Gov Badaru, Jigawa State Governor,  has Reacted On Insecurity As Nigerians Talk Down on President Buhari.

Gov Badaru made his eactions and condemnations while responding to some comments of Nigerians over the insecurity situation in the country.

DAILY POST reported that the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, had told President Muhammadu Buhari to resign and allow a more competent hand to pilot the affairs of the nation.

They said the President and the commander-in-chief has failed woefully in maintaining the security of the country.

The forum said for the past five years, the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has failed in protecting the lives and property of Nigerians.

Responding to the comment, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said People have forgotten what they have went through in the past administration in terms of insecurity.

“I wonder how people have forgotten what we have gone through during the previous administration number of attacks in our mosques, churches and schools, suicide bomb blasts in our markets and number of check points we have gone through”

“In the past we can’t even attempt to do this kind of occasion because of fear of attacks and bomb blast”

Gov Badaru said that no right-thinking leader will like to see his subjects been killed anyhow especially someone of President Muhammad Buhari.

” We in Jigawa believe in destiny. Only God has the power to do whatever he wishes at any time and end it at his will,” he stated.

He, therefore, stated that prayer to the leaders is the only alternative to the country’s situation.

Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola the current Minister of the Federal Ministry of Interior of Nigeria, has divulged that President Muhammadu Buhari is aware of the hardship Nigerians are facing.

Aregbesola said that COVID-19 pandemic and End SARS protest have caused suffering to the people, noting that Buhari is aware and on top of the situation.

“The President is aware of the hardship facing the citizens of the country. This was caused by the pandemic and the End SARS protest which erupted in many states of the federation. The president is doing all his best and I can assure you that very soon, all will be well and we will be happy again.”

Meanwhile, Aregbesola also urged Nigerians to go about the festive period with caution, saying that coronavirus pandemic is still very much on.

The minister made these known while speaking at the commissioning of a central mosque built by Ta’Awunu Islamic group in Iwo, Osun State, on Saturday.

Aregbesola cautioned that the country can’t afford to return to when the dreaded Virus was at its peak in the country, urging Nigerians not lower their guards at this point that cases are being recorded ona daily basis.

“My reasons for coming to the state is in two folds: End SARS and to remind us that Coronavirus is still very much with us. We can’t afford to return to when the virus was at its peak in the country. That is why we must observe social distance and we use our face masks always. Cases are still being recorded everyday.

“During this festive period, we must be cautious. We should obey the holy prophet’s teachings that say, ‘when there is an outbreak of epidemic somewhere, we should not leave there and those outside should not join until the epidemic is over. We must take responsibilities of our lives,” he said.

Northern Elders Forum, NEF has said President Muhammadu Buhari has no empathy and has failed to recognise that Nigerians are scared and dying.

The Northern Elders Forum  Spokesman , Hakeem Baba Ahmed said this while speaking with Channels Tv over the increasing rate of insecurity in Nigeria.

He said the Presidency keeps telling Nigerians to pray but has failed to do anything serious about the killings in the country especially in the North.

“I feel sorry for the president, if he does not do anything and we just hear excuses then we are in serious trouble.

“The Presidency does not feel empathy. We don’t see a presidency who recognises the fact that we have serious problems but all we hear is we should pray.

“We are praying that God shows Buhari the way to fix the country. As northerners we are dying and Southerners are being killed.

“Buhari needs to do something serious, we measure him by just one thing and that is ‘What is the outcome of your commitment’ the country has become so dangerous to live in.

“How many have to die before Buhari do something serious? Ahmed questioned.

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has denied itself from the explosion which happened in a church in Rivers State which is reportedly owned by the father of the state governor, Nyesom Wike.

The church identified as Christain Universal Church International, located on 25 Azikiwe Street Mile, 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, was attacked by hoodlums numbering about five who sneaked into the premises on Saturday night and detonated the explosives suspected to be dynamite.

After the explosion which caused security operatives to cordon off the area, rumours started circulating that IPOB was responsible for the attack.

However, IPOB in a statement by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful has denied responsibility for the attack, noting that its members don’t deal in explosives and have no intention to start.

It accused Governor Wike and the police of trying to pin the crime on members of the group.

The statement read in part, “The attention of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our great Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the fabricated and state-sponsored propaganda peddled by Nyesom Wike and his co-travelers that peaceful and innocent members of IPOB are responsible for an alleged attack on his father’s building on Saturday night.
