How many monitors will visit before you make #120,000?

They should be fast with their visit, befor
e some rents expire........hope it won't take another decade.
As usual now!
"Soon" they will start the visits, that's in the next one month.
The visit itself, as usual will take three months to conclude. Then they'll disappear for three months without a word and return thereafter probably with another meeting. Something is wrong somewhere! God will expose it one day.

I don't think so. From what I learnt, some grantees wrote a letter to kpmg and were replied accordingly that kpmg had submitted its report to GEM, that they'll soon hear from GEM.

You're nothing but an idiot!
Do you think every tribe is as parochial and primordial like your useless tribe?
No matter how much you and your folks try, you can't destabilize the yorubas, we too advance as a people beyond the best your folks could ever be.
Enjoy your foolery grin grin grin

Every normal human being conquers and find an equilibrium with his environment. Nigerians, however, prefer ready made economy, spreading like virus into new environment.
CultureRe: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by fatiaforreal: 11:05am On Apr 29, 2018
Our history goes far beyond Oduduwa, Ogiso etc, and if we don't understand that, we'll continue to argue blindly. Monarchy is relatively recent in human history. You can hardly find any that is older 10,000yrs, whereas human history is certainly well over 100,000yrs. Oduduwa/Ogiso history we're pinning our history to are less than 3000yrs.
When you study history objectively, you begin to see points of separation rather than from point of ancestry. Most of the conquest we refer to are products of reverse migration.
CultureRe: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by fatiaforreal: 10:54am On Apr 29, 2018
The mother of all tribes based on archaeology and DNA, not some concocted story of men under the influence of palmwine or royalties desperately denying their roots to preserve their dynasty

CultureRe: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by fatiaforreal: 10:49am On Apr 29, 2018
macof:
you have not done any findings

1. have you heard the popular Bini saying 'Uhe n'o bie Oba' Ife birthed the Oba
2. Why is the priest of the Oba's ancestral shrine one of the people who accompanied Oranmiyan to Bini.
3. Why is the Oba called 'Ovbie Oodua n'uhe' son of oduduwa of Ife
4. why were the corpse of the early Bini kings taken to Ife for final funeral rights
5. why does the Ogiamien of Utantan (formerly Ogiso) claim Oba of Bini is a foreigner. Ogiso dynasty was still existing until Oba Ewedo finally defeated Ogiamien.
6. what is the hidden meaning of the Ekiopagha Treaty?
7. Why is any refers to Ekalederhan absent in the coronation rites of the Oba of Bini or any tradition that has to do with the Oba?
8. Have you heard of Ughotun, the town founded by Ekalederhan? If he went on to be king of Ile-ife, don't you think Ife people would know of Ughotun and even know of Ekalederhan being oduduwa?
9. What do you know about Oke-ora? Oke-ora happens to be according to Ife traditions the origin of Oduduwa. [If you want to know more about Oke-ora, you can open a different thread where i will answer your questions, or better get in touch with Ife chiefs - the Obadio and Olojudo]
Answer the questions and stop blabbing.
You ignorantly laugh at youruba mythology that says Oduduwa came from the sky, meanwhile you're completely ignorant of the story of your fabled Ogiso, who was a grandson of Osanobua!. Whether you like it or not, the entire royal family came from Ife, they've only rewritten your history in anticipation of future nerves, like you're demonstrating now. If you don't believe yorubas, at least, you should believe your own. Ogiamien, Egarevba et al have told you times without number. Your earliest people, thousands of years before your first Ogiso was born by Olokun, came from a region, that was later known as Nupeland. That Nupeland was called Nyuife. That was the First Ife, where we SEPARATED. So, when you hear lots of common words it's because we were once same people. That Ife was destroyed by flood from river Niger which led yorubas to present Ife. It's the same thing with Igbos, who migrated in the other direction through Benue side. Those who disagree with this are in historical darkness!

Still haven't heard from GEM? Na real waa!
I've not heard what I've been waiting for. They sent another independent monitor, I guess he's submitted his report. Then, another monitor, from a private company carrying out survey for GEM/World Bank also came knocking. At the end, I was given a souvenir and certificate of participation in survey grin grin grin. So, my sister, I can't say there was no contact, but the second tranche remains elusive. May God help me.

We couldn't believe that there would be another delay after the second supervision to release our 2nd tranche payment. Is it when we lost all our customers that the 2nd tranche will be released?

We are giving up on the whole process. I personally attended yearly meeting organized by my major customers in the field last week Friday. Their questions about my products & services are worrisome, and it's discouraging, I can't face them anymore. We are giving up on all our efforts.

These are the people I met early last year to inform them about our products & services, and till today we couldn't meet their major demand because of Delay in 2ND TRANCHE PAYMENT

GEM, WHY?? ? ?? ? ?
It's very painful bro, but I believe they're working harder now to sort things out. Don't be surprised if your monitor has not submitted your company report to kpmg. I've been more than frustrated but something just tells me we're close to the finish line. Don't forget the business plan on which the grant is based was written late 2013 or early 2014 grin grin grin it's too late to give up now. Cheer up bro!!

I received an email that I was due to submit my second report in the bigportal dashboard. This was less than one month after 2nd tranche disbursement. Per email, ""This is in line with the 90 days after receipt of second tranche" requirement for submission of the second report" So If I take them by their words, I have over 60 days to submit.
People undergoing second round of monitoring visits got same mail.

Lagos is officially a hostage state, taking advantage of citizens from other states who have invested heavily in Lagos properties...na to selloff and move-on!..imagine for Nigerians in Lagos to contemplate moving to Ghana? Someone should tell me why Calabar a coastal city wont trash Lagos in the future? Once calabar port becomes functional Lagos will die a gradual natural death.
I feel you, but mind you, Lagos was Lagos before Nigeria. Over 500 years of history. At the point of amalgamation, Lagos was worth more than the rest of Nigeria put together. It's an empirical fact. Google the values of Northern , Western, and Eastern protectorates at the time of amalgamation and compare to the valuation given to Lagos. That's before you started your "contributions" to and "development" of Lagos.

There are positives and negatives about this.
In the olden days, people built houses for conveniences and to some extent status. So, we found people living in houses for free and very low rent. Trend now is different. People now take rent as a career, which is not realistic. You can hardly recoup your investment in buildings these days in your life time unless you're lucky to have fraudsters, kidnappers, corrupt civil servants et al as tenants because the rents you need to do so is unrealistic in this economy; you can't afford to be close to God to ask for such rent.
