I like to see the difference in performance. We have more than enough graduates to make a great nation; more than enough people with fantastic CGPA to rival the greatest nations of the world but we've all failed the country. Nigeria is succeeding in turning out examination experts rather than professionals in their respective fields. Open your eyes and see and don't be carried awawy, a European with a Pass Degree will likely achieve far more in terms of impact in his field that a Nigerian with a First Class except in rare situations where the the class of degree is in tandem with the level of true knowledge acquired.

Leviticus that you quoted does not speak of human sacrifice but those under divine judgement of death..
To sacrifice means to kill as an offering to a god. God never required human life as an offering to him. He passes the death sentence as punishment not as offering to him. Be enlightened.
Judges also doesn't state that Jephthah offered his daughter as a burnt offering to God. He vowed yes.. But he never actually did. The daughter was instead dedicated to the service of God all the days of her life and never married. That is why she asked for permission to mourn her virginity which would forever remain. She was like the female version of Samuel who was dedicated to God by his mother Hannah.. I challenge you to show me where it is stated that Jephthah's daughter was indeed sacrificed!

This is the only factual explanation I've seen here, others are mere conjectures and it shows the real quality of (hons) people have. A Pass Certificate acquired with knowledge and honestly is far better than 2:1 with (hons) we're talking about here. You find people gathering and finding solutions to past questions without any quality studies hence without true knowledge of the courses they earn high grades. To me, this is a fraud in itself! That's the main reason graduates have failed the nation even the face of bad leadership. With the right mindset to education, we would have been much better than we're now.
