MorataFC: Let it be known to you if you have not know before, all the religions on earth stole their story line from Bible, copied their belief from from the original HOLY book Sheer ignorance!!! You think the world is 2000yrs or 5000yrs old? "In the beginning was the word, the word was with God....." has been in Egyptian black book of the dead thousands of years before the old testament! Have you heard of Krishna and his strikingly similar story with Jesus? Who came before the other?? You don't know jack! Avoid advertising your ignorance and keep your faith. As for me, I'm not surprised. God has been sending guidance and knowledge to humanity from time of Adam. God couldn't have watched humanity for over 98,000 (ninety eight thousand) years without a path to salvation, only for Him to offer Himself or His son who is also a part of the Godhead as a sacrifice, and only path to salvation just 2019 years ago; when the world is about to end as claimed. No! That's not true. Guidance has been coming to man from time to time but of course, the messages are corrupted with time out of sheer ignorance, pride, religious competition, and in doing these, we run down God's messengers to justify our elevation of others; some are even raised to the status of the Almighty Creator in the name of supremacy of faith. |

oyebanji44: The ibos are ill-prepared for war.even though the northerners were pushing the matter beyond the brink of war.they're still not prepare for war.Now let go back to the history, the Fulani, who formerly dwelt as strangers and settler among the various peoples of the north, began to unseat the traditional rulers of these people. lt is to the discredit of the British that they, who understood the principles of personal liberty, still came to Nigeria at this particular time with a superior military force and imposed the peace of Britain, rubber stamping the Fulani hegemony over the whole area. After that, every effort by the people to be free was regarded as a rebellion against British rulership and was forcibly suppressed.I can't say much, they the Fulani were also called the Northern's Rebel Army.militarily ,they're sea of troubles.politically, they're in control at the federal level.Did this have to be so?. Christian British, not Muslim Arabs? A lesson to understand interest and politics, and separation from religion. |

[quote author=mrgreen4real post=79950592]Bro I believe the Fulani jihad history is the reason behind southern and some middle-belt states are rejecting the RUGA settlement. Make your research and you will deduce that what would happen in the future is the fear of that would start requesting to becoming indigenous pple of the state if settled thru RUGA system. Mind you almost all tribes that are settled today migrated from somewhere. If the Fulani herdsmen were known for not having clashes with farmers and being kidnappers, I bet you many states would have accepted the RUGA settlement. Even the typical hausa men are afraid of Fulani because they were conquered by Usman Danfodio. The rejection of RUGA settlement is the beginning of wisdom.[/quote I see, just as some people are now saying Lagos is no man's land, after forgetting the hardship that brought their forbears to Lagos. If ask me, that's double standard. You made a good point from historical perspective though. |

It's very simple. Any form of religious practice in the school must be challenged; including assembly! Perhaps secular assembly, devoid of any religious coloration will have to be designed. You can't stylishly incorporate elements of other religion and deny others. |

KingSatan: AS LONG AS NIGERIANS KEEP CELEBRATING GRADES AND CERTIFICATES, I DOUBT THERE WOULD BE ANY REMARKABLE PROGRESS IN THE NEXT 60 YEARS.
HOW DOES HIS CERTIFICATE IMPROVE YOUR ECONOMY?
THESE LOTS DON'T EVEN RETURN HOME TO IMPROVE THE COUNTRY'S DILAPIDATED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.
THE CERTIFICATE IS JUST FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.
STOP CELEBRATING MEDIOCRITY.
EDUCATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY SHOULD BE CORPORATIVE AND NOT COMPETITIVE. I like to see the difference in performance. Though it's quite easy to blame the government for our situation, it's equally obvious we've gained little from education as a people because we don't seem to understand its purpose. We have more than enough graduates to make a great nation; more than enough people with fantastic CGPA to rival the greatest nations of the world but we've all failed the country. Nigeria is succeeding in turning out examination experts rather than professionals in their respective fields. Open your eyes and see and don't be carried awawy, a European with a Pass Degree will likely achieve far more in terms of impact in his field that a Nigerian with a First Class except in rare situations where the the class of degree is in tandem with the level of true knowledge acquired. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Mami Water Worshipper Burns Bible (Photos) by fatiaforreal: 12:20am On Jun 27, 2019 |
sonofElElyon: You speak from the position of acute ignorance and I will enlighten you.. God is the creator of the world and after his work of creation the bible said God saw that it was good.. He who creates has the absolute right to dispose of whoever or whatever chooses to destroy the perfect harmony of creation and introduce confusion, perversion and pollution. God is the possessor of the heavens and the earth. He owns all. It is not by your rules but his.. Get that clear! The Canaanites you mentioned and the Amorites etc engaged in terribly abominable acts like child sacrifice to Moloch, human sacrifice in general, (just like your gods demand!!!).. Liaisons with wicked fallen spirits who were bent on polluting the human race and introducing all sorts of evil practices.. They did not want to change and wanted to continue in their intense wickedness and killing of the innocents so the one who made all souls decided to pass the death sentence on the degraders and destroyers of mankind to save the human race. Don't your human judges pass the death sentence? How do you then question the Creator when he decides to pass the death sentence on the ones who stubbornly carry on their evil bloody wicked activities? Leviticus that you quoted does not speak of human sacrifice but those under divine judgement of death.. To sacrifice means to kill as an offering to a god. God never required human life as an offering to him. He passes the death sentence as punishment not as offering to him. Be enlightened. Judges also doesn't state that Jephthah offered his daughter as a burnt offering to God. He vowed yes.. But he never actually did. The daughter was instead dedicated to the service of God all the days of her life and never married. That is why she asked for permission to mourn her virginity which would forever remain. She was like the female version of Samuel who was dedicated to God by his mother Hannah.. I challenge you to show me where it is stated that Jephthah's daughter was indeed sacrificed! Throughout the bible God opposed human sacrifice.. Go do your research instead of copying verbatim the ill motivated articles of antichrists.. God was justified in his actions in the old testament.. However because God is loving and merciful, he chose to reconcile himself with mankind by sending Jesus and through Christ he showed us his love.. Now he is reconciled to mankind through Christ who is man's representative before God. God and man are now reconciled. The events you made reference to are all in the past.. God is now our friend! Unlike your evil gods who have always and will always be hostis humani generis.. Enemies of the human race.. You don't really believe your defence, you're only programmed to such a level of obligation to do so. You condemn others for similar things while you stupidly believe they have no story of the gods like you've narrated here? Go and watch the movies, Matrix- you'll learn it's all about control; and Planets of Apes- you'll realize everything sacred has its true story. The scriptures have their stories as well. |

Honour shows dat u completed d course within d stipulated yrs or period,,, it helps employers to no if u r dull or maybe dey may ask Wat happened dat made u graduate late.. This is the only factual explanation I've seen here, others are mere conjectures and it shows the real quality of (hons) people have. A Pass Certificate acquired with knowledge and honestly is far better than 2:1 with (hons) we're talking about here. You find people gathering and finding solutions to past questions without any quality studies hence without true knowledge of the courses they earn high grades. To me, this is a fraud in itself! That's the main reason graduates have failed the nation even the face of bad leadership. With the right mindset to education, we would have been much better than we're now. |

What did Benin kingdom achieve before Oranmiyan came from Ife? They claim they had tens of Ogiso, let them mention the achievement of one! Lastly, ask them about their origin, they'll tell you they flew from Egypt. Bullshit! Their origin is Ife and Nupe! Whether they take take it or not, that's the simple truth. Nupe, old Ife, Chad are much older human settlements than Igodo, later renamed Ile Ibinu, Ubini, and finally Bini. |
