It's easy to sermonise from your relative comfort, but I tell you, nothing is more hellish than hopelessness. |
The one above is essentially a survey for feedback. |
Every mail sent by GEM stipulates the purpose and what is expected of the applicants. |
Better than Solayman at least ![]() |
Second round inspection mail instead of disbursement mail. Then, another six months will pass before the outcome of inspection is known. Then, complete receipts will be requested and verified for three months. Network for communication will then disappear for another three months without any form of feedback. Then, another batch will get disbursement mail. Then, stay glued to their phone waiting for alert for another indefinite number of months. With all these, whoever successfully completes this programme, getting his/her second tranche while the business is still alive, and himself/herself not having stroke or serious BP related illnesses should do a serious thanks giving, not just in a place of worship, but by actually helping out someone in dire need of help. |
It's frustrating! May God help us. |
Ha! These herdsmen again! The Mozambique government should do something about it o. |
Keke123:This one na final tranche o I can't wait for the day I'll be free from this anxiety |
I think it's a four semester programme, 2years (+ -)months December 2015 - December 2017 Master's Degree (Financial Management) University of GEM ![]() |
vivixander:Congratulations my person! I wish you all the best. Making three persons today. Cheers!!!!!! Pls remember me in your prayers. |
Keke123:Hmmmmn! Congrats! |
[quote author=vivixander post=64838908]Which business? Mine hasn't even started. The first tranche was for construction et al. The second one was to get the business up and running. All potential employees I interviewed have moved on because they could not wait anymore.[/quote Many people are in similar situation, but some were lucky they got paid. When is the inspection going to take place? Monitors are through unless they're re-engaged. When is the GEM programme ending? God! Pls help us , considering those of us who have put all our lives into this project. This is not looking good. |
Any alert or mail? |
A welcome development. I hope no contract or waiver is involved? |
Happy GEM month in advance! I have a dream, that one day, everyone will be paid in full! I have a dream, that these entrepreneurs will do the GEM project proud. I have a dream, the nation will have reasons to be proud of the granyees. I HAVE A DREAM, FEBRUARY WILL WITNESS A HAVALANCHE OF ALERTS! SO GET YOUR BULION VANS READY. Keep all hopes alive!¡!!!! |
![]() Interesting!!! It started with Aunty Kemi Olunloyo, followed by Suleiman's Otobo, and now the assaulted NASS worker ![]() Nigerians, irrespective of their tittles , Honourable, GO, Senator, Apostle, Alhaji, etc are mafias. We are in the SEASON OF DENIAL. Soon Akpabio will deny governing Akwa Ibom!! ¡! |
![]() Ipob must be delivered!!! ![]() |
I don't understand. The matter was between Kemi and a man of god? What I'm seeing here looks like a maffia script being played out. Even IBB did not descend on those who wrote against him in that manner. Anyway, congratulations on a successful drama!!! ![]() |
Long overdue!!! As at twenty years ago, you would leave your hostel to go and read only to return because of the activities of over 60 different fellowship would not allow you to do so; Faculty of science, no single lecture theatre is available for reading, Agric same, engineering, law its all the same. It was either there was no Lt space for you to sitdown and read or the noise from the various fellowship would not allow you. |
Igbo is sub-Yoruba race. Take it or leave it, that's the truth! |
Human beings can be very funny, they support one thing here and disapprove of it there. If your religion blinds you or prevents you from speaking the truth on issues, just know you're of the devil irrespective of your nomenclature. A normal human being with blood in his vein should condemn the killings in Benue, the same way he should condemn the killings of the Palestinians by the Israelis. If everyone claims his God gave him dominion over others and their lands, then we're inviting chaos our prayers and fasting won't be able to stop. We must condemn evil irrespective of who is the victim or transgressor. |
PapaBrowne:This is a good response from an educated man to the tantrum of a Nairaland semiliterate. There's no need to add a word. |
This is not a civet. Civets are catlike not doglike. |
The business needs fasting and prayer, seed of faith, and tithing. I forgot to mention, the business must also pay it's first fruit, then the jet will be airborne. It is well ![]() |
The duo should be grateful to Afonjas who gave them employment ![]() I have no doubt sha, they could have done the same even if they were selling gala on third mainland bridge. These are the non-ipob Igbo. Kudos to them! |
verydark:You're right, but its not only the igbos that came from Congo. Almost all the tribes in west Africa , and beyond did. That's why we're referred to as the Niger-Congo group. Linguistics has shown Igbo and Yoruba are variations of same language together with Igala. Our separation into different tribes took place around the Niger confluence, from where Igbo migrated through Benue and cross into SE area. First Ile Ife was located close to the Niger river, it was destroyed by flood and they migrated to the present day Ile Ife. The people who later became Binis journeyed through this same point of separation ( whether on their way from Egypt as claimed by some or they came from Nupe, a corruption of the word Nyuife in the language of the inhabitants till date, meaning Ile Ife ,according to Jacob Egarevba). So, all these tribes are the same people. Itsekiri is much more Yoruba than Bini; even Ijaws have versions of their history that places Ife as their origin. Forget the different names, we only enjoy being different but in reality, we're the same.

I think the ijaws have allowed people to mould them into what they're not, politically and ethnically. I still make bold to say they're generally good people, the thugs, like any society are relatively few. I know this because I lived in Brass for a year. The elites of Ijaw nation went to sleep when others were writing and rewriting their histories. Itsekiris are my brothers any day, but I must also say, Ijaws are ancient people. While I don't know their population, I doubt if any tribe arrived in the Niger Delta before them, which makes them aborigines in Edo, Delta etc. Unfortunately, their method of fighting their cause can only land them more enemies. Pls, let's sue for peace. We can check the records with NPC, it will give a good idea at least even if it's not accurate. |
Happy new year to the house! One of my prophecies for 2018 is that second tranche payment will come with 30%-100% interest for payments between today and December. One of my prayers is , you find a way to run your businesses, GEM or no GEM, and make great success. Choose one by clicking on LIKE for prayer or SHARE for prophecy. Compliments of the season to everyone: grantees, KPMG, PWC, PIU, FMITI, and GEM project. |
T9ksy:Now, you can see the northerners are very wise. They remind them regularly who's the master, they trim their overgrown bushes to conform, and put them in a state of eternal fear and vigilance. In the SW, you returned abandoned properties, made them feel at home, and they forgot the penury and hunger that brought them here. Now they're telling you you were wrong treating mambas as pets. They're fighting back simply because you saved them from themselves in the name of one Nigeria. Sorry kids, Nigeria may not be working at the moment but we'll get there one day. Until then keep chestbeating and playing the victims at the same time, Nigeria has enough experience to keep taking care of you. No hard feelings you're still my brothers, though very devious. Igbo kwenu! Nigeria kwenu!! Kwesenu!!! |
SantaCruz1:You've always been in our cage, and we're never wary of managing you. Already, you can hardly celebrate anything in your cursed land unless you fix it around Xmas or new year because your villages and towns are empty for most parts of the year. You're not aware of that? You're here in the North and SW already. We're steps ahead of you, you can continue as ewarrior if you like ![]() |
Who's taking this pseudo organization seriously? IPOB implant! Who dash you indigeneship in the SW? Don't worry, the python is waiting to dance when the time comes. |
ChidiAlaigbo:Not every tribe knows or have it's own sense of traditional dressing or fashion original to it. That gown is just an adoption of the Niger delta one, and it's usually made of UPHOLSTERY material ![]() |
