NwaAmaikpe:..and who is the believer? A monotheist or a trinitarian? |
I got a mail from GEM in respect of a planned protest some moments ago. Who has an idea or received a similar mail? Honestly, it is sad what started so beautifully has now come to this. I'll encourage us to keep the peace and patience even in the face of pain we feel concerning our businesses. May God help us. |
Shame on you idiots!!! |
That's good from HRM. |
scholes0:They're are very good at fabricating history. They can tell you Obama Trump family migrated from Bini and their original name was Turumpagha ![]() |
The situation is one thing, carrying the beneficiaries along is another. On that, I give kudos to the guys in charge. |
At this point, I agree we're skull miners!!! This is just too much, cutting across religions and the inter religion collaboration is astonishing, alfa-baba alawo-pastor. This calls for serious concern in yorubaland in particular, and Nigeria in general. It's a shame!!!!!! |
Federal Government of NIGERIA? I rest my case >: ![]() |
asomech:I called ur line earlier ooon I calllcai |
chernest2002:Mushroom declarations? Lol!!! |
SenatorM:You have a good point in the area of marginalization, but do you know some Yoruba within the southwest had the same complaints? Ibadan people especially. Your idea is fine, but I bet you the Binis will run home to roost. You'll discover yorubas love you more than some others, another group will emerge as the new Hausa/Fulani of the Nigerdelta; I'll be surprised if you don't know them already. It's worth giving a trial, but we'll leave a door open for your return. I bet you, you'll RUN back ![]() Good luck. |
taylor88:Ipob forming Edo ![]() Edo people may prefer to have their nation, it's their right, but they're not a people driven by hatred as evidenced by your post. Child of hate! Show your true identity, I Before Others IBO. Erosion go kill you, bastard! |
michony505:Very correct, that's essentially Lagos Island. Don't forget Badagry Ogun people, Ikorodu Ijebus, Epe Ijebus, and Ikeja and mainland Aworis. Where is the no Man's land? Is there any okoro or efosa collecting bursary as indigenes? If there is, it must be with the help of an indigene; even at that their number would be insignificant. In the past, our people were so hospitable to allow others hold elective positions, I'm sorry such assertion has changed the balance, check the current 50 LGA & LCDA and tell yourself Lagos is no Man's land. If you're able to do this, kindly visit the nearest psychiatric hospital to you. 2) You forgot to add, the Oba that conquered Lagos island was himself a tenant in Benin. He came from Ife. Go and study Ekiopagha Treaty or ask the Oghiamen of Benin. The Ekalerdahan/Oduduwa story is a fabrication in anticipation of a day like this, so that you don't send HRM packing to Ile Ife. 3)Concerning Niger Delta Republic, if it's the wish of the people, they deserve it and I wish them good luck. I doubt all the hate speach targeted at yorubas I'm seeing here are from the good people of SS. Yorubas harbour no hatred for the SS people even if we differ in certain moral or political values; no matter how much we quarrel on historical matters with the Binis, we still don't hate them. I can't say the same about the Igbos. We can pursue and achieve our objectives without labelling anyone as enemy. I'm sure yorubas will miss the Nigerdelta if it comes to that, but above all, we have ALL it takes to excell as Nigerians or as an independent nation. Good luck to the good people of South South! |
This is not the time for hypocrisy and fantasy. I'm not a fan of KANU, but in view of the development, his advice makes a lot of sense. It's unfortunate, no president will allow Nigeria to break under him, not even KANU as president would do that. However, in my opinion, the hatred is too deep seated for us to make a nation; the earlier we accept this the better for us. We can part ways and look forward to cordial bilateral relationship between our countries. Benin republic is an example, Niger is another. Even from the economic perspective, Nigerians don't feel safe to invest in certain parts of the country aside trading in goods that are easily relocated for obvious reasons. We all need to see Biafra from a REALISTIC perspective beyond the unfortunate approach of Kanu. |
ApexPredator:Your point appears logical but the truth is the igbos are not willing to go even if Biafra is granted. Don't deceive yourself, nobody has ever stopped them from relocating. |
She's past her prime but still OK. |
robosky02:This is wickedness!!! Who are those stateless people at the centre without a seaport? Well, if that's how you want it, isorite ![]() |
Anyhow, landlocked or not, I trust Biafra will survive. There'll be a new monster. No more Muslim/Christian animosity, no more HausaFulani/Igbo struggle, and no more Afonja/Yanmiri abuse. Watch out for those children of hate in Biafra. I can't wait to see Biafra created. Good luck to everyone. I'm a Nigerian until Nigeria is no more. |
Rejected in Benue, Kogi, Delta, Rivers, and now Akwa Ibom and Cross River. Ah! This is a huge blow, just few days after Israel rejected Biafra like plague. ![]() |
GoldNiagara:: >: ![]() How is the Ife man ruling Benin kingdom? ![]() You like good things my Bini brother ![]() |
I really appreciate various people digging into the archives. Let knowledge rule instead of guess and unfounded fairy tales, at some point we all will arrive at the common truth. Let me add, Obatala did not come from Anioma. Let's follow established fact, the journey is from southern Africa to Congo. From Congo we came to the Niger area, there was no Aka, Benin, Anioma or any kingdom at all at that time. Pls we're talking about the earliest settlements of man here. It was from this settlement at the bank of the Niger that most of the tribes in west Africa evolved from. Yoruba called it old Ife, the same name that metamorphosed from Ife to Nyuife, Nupeko, and finally Nupe. No kingdom in Nigeria existed before this settlement. It is possible other tribes have different names for it. It's the established point of separation and the reason most of the tribes in Nigeria are grouped as the Niger Congo or yoruboid group. But the good thing we've jointly established here is that igbos and yorubas moved out of this very settlement. The Ogisos were not born at this point in time, the earliest people to inhabit edoland came only after this dispersion. That's the reason for traces and common words in our various languages, not necessarily because some people left their kingdoms to found others |
Note, that old civilization on the bank of the Niger is the Old Ife, Ife Oodaiye( the cradle or source) from which we all separated from. Take it or leave it.
|
KemjikaEme:I agree with you on this, and it's unfortunate hatred between the two tribes will continue to conceal certain facts. Historical Oduduwa is an important reference point in our recent history which dates back to not less than 20,000 years. The yoruboid group is the same as the Niger-Congo group of which the Igbo is an integral part. Our ancient settlement after Congo was the bank of river Niger, from where we all separated and our common language , yoruboid metamorphosed into different languages; which is why you find traces of aboriginal igbos in Benue, from where they crossed to found NRI and igboland. Seek the help of linguists and you'll be shocked at the unperceived semblance of Igbo with Yoruba. Do you think the name Igbo is an accident? Yorubas were originally known as Ugbo, just the way Omo became Umu, orun(neck)became onu, omi(water) became miri, akata(fox or dog) became inkita, ika (finger) remains ika and the list is endless. Then genetic mapping of African tribes shows the DNA report of 99.9% identical between igbos and yorubas. Its not a case of one tribe coming from another, rather it's a case of separation. This is the case with most of the tribes in southern Nigeria and even the north with the exception of the Fulani's with Afro Asian origin. |
It's a shame. I knew igbos are ignorant but I never knew the depth of their ignorance. I've repeated well enough, but I'll say it again. Igbos are older than the Jews as a race, intact it should be the Jews tracing their root to Africa and not the reverse. There's a DNA report on African tribes showing those with whom igbos are 99.9% identical. The truth is there for those who wish to know. |
Umuchineke!!!! ![]() |
Where is CAN? Abi na Islamization be this?? |
Hmmm! Humanity!!! A very simple and straight forward instruction now being treated like a usual court case in Nigeria, with injunctions and interpretations. The truth is clear for whoever chooses to follow it. |
TheHistorian:Your foolishness knows no bound! Humanity is more than 100,000 years. Jesus came 2000 years ago and the world is ending soon. What happens to 98,000 years of humanity, assuming your theory of salvation is true? Idiot! |
drake2000x:My friend pack and get away! We don't need you here. |
Where is that noise making political organization called CAN? I'm sure they will not allow this loan to be disbursed unless they're hypocrites ![]() |
