@ Skywalk12 That must have been quite an intense interview to say the least but you scaled through. I admire ur strength and resilience. Congratulations in advance cos it's obvious ur application is already approved. It's only a matter of time, I believe Ur PPR is on the way. You've earned it!

Morning people...congrats to all PPR clinchers...pls are therw instances where a visa ofc approves an app and another visa ofc triggers PPR mail? I put a call across to cic yday and spoke with an agent who told me my app has been approved in ottawa and that they hv alerted Accra to let me know when/and the details for sending my passports cos i am outside canada...anybody encountered such situation?July 19th AOR,ip2 Nov 8th
Seems it's a new trend. AOR June 19, exactly 2 weeks since ghost update/ approval and 4 weeks in IP2, no PPR. From observation, it seems I may have to wait for at least a month after approval before I get one. Anyway, waiting till I cross d 6 months timeline before doing something. Hopefully, I won't have to wait that long...

So my application (post AOR) will be a year old in about 2 weeks. No longer anxious , just indifferent now.

I sent an email two months ago to the minister for immigration but it didnt help. Just got a generic email about my security check not started. Same thing as GCSM notes. Not even going to bother with that one again. Done 3 already.

Makes me wonder if contacting Goodale will change anything. Please can someone share his correct email? Let me give it a shot so i know i have tried all avenues.
Wow! A year! Na wah o. This is his email ralph.goodale@parl.gc.ca.
You can also try calling CIC on on +1 613-944-4000 and follow the voice prompt (to get to speak to an agent, you'll press 1,1,1,2,2,2,2,0) (make sure your airtime is robust or u can use Google hang out). I truly pray u get ur PPR before the month ends.

Congratulations to all those who clinched ITA and PPR this week. Even though I didn't receive PPR this week as I'd hoped, I'm humbled by some of the stories that has been shared by others regarding this Canny waka. I realise I should be grateful that mine has relatively been easy so far rather than getting worked up over what I have no power over. I believe it will come in the best time as God wills. Patience has never been my strong suit but it's all I need at the moment.
For all those who are at various stages in this journey, I pray u are able to surmount whatever hurdle is stopping u from getting to the next phase swiftly and with ease.

Hello house,
So, I ve been following the June 2018 thread on canadavisa forum. There's this disturbing issue of an ample number of June applicants who allegedly have their applications approved (confirmation was via CIC call centre after getting a ghost update some days after IP2) but are yet to get PPR mail. Some have even been waiting close to a month now. They were told to wait till after the 6 months timeline before calling back if they haven't gotten their PPR mail by then.
I'm not too happy about this info, especially knowing that my application will most likely fall within the above set. I really don't understand why cic would deliberately stall sending PPR mail to supposedly approved applications? BTW, is there any June/july applicants in IP2 and has received ghost update but no ppr yet?

Don't worry about her not being so interested now, it's Co she's still in school and doesn't know what's up especially when it comes to being doctor in Nigeria. I'm positive that she will soon come 2 know. Anyway, Newmum0615 has given you the best possible advice in my opinion...all the best to you guys.

Hello House, does anyone noticed the destination of verification document sent from ones University to MCC Canada ?......I tracked mine sent by my school to MCC and I saw PHILADELPHIA, PA, US. I thought it should be Canada. Has anyone seen this before ?
Hmm, though my school does verification by email so I can't really tell the address via post/courier but since MCC does verification via ECFMG, my guess is that the address given to ur school was that of ECFMG which is in PHILADELPHIA, PA, US.

Ordinarily, if you transferred your course credits to your foreign institution, then the transcript you get from your school abroad should include the transferred credits, as well as the credits you earned while in that school. This is usually the case assuming there are no peculiar circumstances. However, it wouldn’t hurt to put a call across to your school in the UK and ask them what your transcript would look like when you request for one.
OK. It's actually my brother who is in the situation. I will definitely urge him to call his school for details about his transcript. Thanks much!

Good morning house, please for someone who did his first 3 years in a Nigerian University (unilag) butt transferred to and completed his last 2years course in elect elect in a university in d UK, how does he go about evaluating his degree such that he will get maximum points for it? I'm guessing he will have to add d transcript from his Nigerian University but do u think he will also be asked for confirmation of WAEC result?

Hello, good morning family, it's been long I came here.
Pls, I need your help o. My 1year+ son is very strong, 3days ago I noticed he was passing out watery stool, is stomach was bloated n he refused to take anything, so, I suspected he is bringing out teeth (Molar). I administered flagyl syrup, baby rex n vitamin c n ORT but it got worst so I took him to the hospital yesterday. We did test n his malaria test came out positive, the doctor prescribed amoxylin suspension n Camosunste (Amodiaquine and Artesunate),
Sorry about ur baby. Please don't give vitamin c to a baby who has diarrhoea it worsens it next time u can give zinc and ors has initial therapy before taking him to d hospital if symptoms worsens. Also it's good to note that malaria can cause diarrhea even though it's not common. In fact malaria symptoms can be vague sometimes. Then please I would advice u change d antimalaria to coartem/lonart cos I fear d amodiaquine is d responsible for him getting weak. That drug can be quite harsh on d body system.
In a nut shell, I would advice u get tab Zinc 10mg Dailly, continue ORS, change camosunate to coartem/lonart, continue amoxicillin. If symptoms worsens or he seems dehydrated take him back to d hospital.Wish ur baby quick recovery
