You are very correct. However, have the Africans collectively kick against this plain partiality? All the idiots want to talk about is racism which does not exist. What actually exists is suppression of progress. African football is being killed by the officiating of FIFA appointed officials. Have asked why Ugo Njoku has been banished from soccer yet Nigeria kept mute?
Oh ok I didn’t understand, what happened with Ugo Njoku? I’m not aware of it

Christianity EtcRe: A Poor Widow Receives Financial Assistance That Changed Her Life by Favor99(m): 7:05am On Jun 10, 2019
VOICEOFDIVINE:
The Widows Empowerment Outreach in Benin City during the Last Christmas and New Year Celebration (2018)

“God has sent His ‘angels’ to visit me”, A poor widow, Mrs Josephine Okeke, exclaimed in tears as she received ₦20,000 to enable her to start a petty smoked-fish business.

Mrs. Josephine Okeke who hails from Ekpoma, Esan-West LGA, of Edo State lost her husband to kidney disease. The man was a machine operator in a printing firm until death separated him from his lovely wife and 3 children. Since then, life has been difficult for Mrs. Okeke and her kids. To put food on the table for the kids, she moves from house to house to wash clothes for people, who at the end of the day pay her very little for her services, and if she is lucky, some would give her food to eat.

When the Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach Team accompanied by our sister organization, Pick a Child Africa, visited the widow where she lives around Medical Road area of Benin City, we observed that the family live in a very deplorable condition: the one-room apartment they live in was in a state of squalor, the widow and the children looked hungry and sickly. It appeared they had not eaten for many days. It was obvious they had no hope to celebrate the Christmas. Their pathetic condition moved us to tears. She also owed the rent for her apartment, and the pressure from the landlord further exacerbated her plight.

So when the sum of ₦20,000 was presented to her to enable her to start a petty business, she could not hide her excitement, as tears of Joy flowed freely from her eyes. The team also promised to pay the sum of ₦36,000 for her 1-year house rent.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Our target is to empower 1000 Widows with free cash grants, to enable them to start or boost their petty businesses. The goal of this project is to economically empower poor widows to improve their livelihood and be able to cater for their families.

Please note that the videos and pictures of all our charitable activities are not intended to ‘impress or show off’ to anybody, rather it is our practical way of teaching humanity how to love one another.

We are showing you this video of one of our widows’ empowerment activities
1. To create awareness for the plight of hapless widows globally, who are traumatized, oppressed, impoverished and abandoned by government, religious organizations and the society.
2. To practically teach you, that service to humanity is the only true ‘religion’ that God recognizes (James 1:27), and that the religion you practice is meaningless before God if you fail to help the poor and the needy around you.
3. To inspire you to join this campaign to lift poor widows and their families out of poverty. Look around you, there are poor widows struggling for survival. Emulate us by supporting them with ₦20,000 to boost their petty businesses (Look for poor widows in your locality and give them the money DIRECTLY).
4. To inspire religious organizations (especially the church, my constituency), to begin to promote the cause of love and our shared humanity, over and above religious rituals and dogmas.

If you wish to know more about us and how you can join or support this campaign, please kindly call or WhatsApp: +2348084701414 or +2348087656176.

You can also visit: www.vocinternational.com, www.azemoborgregory.com, follow us on Instagram: @gazemobor, @voiceofdivinetruth.

Let me sincerely appreciate the team of Pick a Child Africa, led by Mr Bright Nnaeto, Hope and Angel. They connected us to the poor family. They were also present to visit the widow. Pick a Child Africa is providing educational sponsorship for one of Mrs Okeke’s kids. Well done my fellow apostles, God bless you richly.
This post is condescending, you spoke in civil and spoke normally in your article with the Igbo and Yoruba widows, but your two articles with the Edos show your tribalism or whatever cunning agendas you all have. Tribalism is all over this

Hmm
This is so deep. I am sure if she makes a little mistake, she is goint to be taken to court straight for negligence. I do not really blame the whites though as there is no love among us even in Nigeria. In Lagos for example, most people discriminate against our Northern brothers popularly called "aboki". In the Western world, we are being treted the same way we treat the abokis. Even here on Nairaland, they have carried the tribalistic thing to the forum. Like you said, football, a unifying sport should have been an exception. Imagine a footballer being thrown a banana during a match because of his skin colour. lol. He peeled it and ate it. lol
Lol it’s good he took some humor out of the situation lol. I’m sure that’s not the reaction those rude fans where expecting grin

But yea she goes through bad racism, like blatant in your face racism. It has gotten like 1,000 times worse since Trump got in office

If she was from another race or even if she was a Black American, they wouldnt treat her so badly. Africans need to wake up, because there is a new wave of racism against us. They no longer target Black Americans, it’s now us there targeting.

The blatant racism and disrespect Africans get, if 1/10th of that happened to any other race it would be chaos and outrage.

That’s sad they treat northerners like that in Lagos. What kind of things do they do? How long have they been treating northerners poorly for?
Your right, the same way we treat ourselves is the same way others are treating us

Always so painful when you watch such matches. If an African team had scored a supposed or a "thought to be " offside goal, they would go and check the VAR over and over again to look for just 1 inch of offside or anything to say it was an offside. A team has the right to request for a VAR in a controversial situation.
Also, in that match, a Malian mistakenly controlled the ball with a slight touch of his hands around the thighs during a counter break. The referee did not see it, an Italian player told the referee and he blew his whistle immediately. Is a player supposed to be the one to listen to or his fellow officials? They just watch out for all these minor minor things to go against an African team.
Yea if only we Africans would understand how much the world around us hate and despise us so much. Africans haven’t done jack to these people, yet the oyinbo are so obsessed with hate for the African

Even China that did blackface last year is in the process of colonizing us, and were busy fighting each other on nairaland. Our politicians embezzling money.

I’m not understanding why they have to carry their racism and prejiduce to soccer. It’s no where you won’t find racism

I have a friend who is a nurse and was working in Texas, she told me how much hatred and racism she goes through everyday by whites and middle easterners. They disrespect her anyhow because she’s black and has an accent

The day we realize that our enemy is not from within but is actually from the outside in far away lands, the better for us and we start loving and embracing ourselves, the way we can fight back and reclaim our continent from these invaders

Even yesterday, when the ref said their keepr was fouled by Oparanozie, it was a wrong call. Their keeper came out for an aerial challenge and fumbled. Nigeria was about pounding on the loose ball, she quickly blew her whistle. At the ongoing under 17 world cup, Mali was at the receiving end of a bad officiating by the referee and when such happens, you will observe that they will even refuse to show the highlights. The Malians requested for the VAR to be checked when there was an issue, the referee blatantly refused.
Smh, they’re so racist. One African American on this forum have been complaining and warning us about these racist people. Us Africans really have no friends in this world but ourselves. We need to stick together

You cant blame referee, especially in 2019 when you know they will not favor Africans...How can they, when the amount of PR these competitions do to promote white superiority rest on referees calling bogus fouls in their favor...

See what happened to South Africa...

Even the preliminary talk and cameras pregame, always on France, Spain, Germany, Norway, with little bits on the shytholers.

Funny enough we, the Nigger Area, went to the Women’s World Cup again answering a European pet name (Nigeria), sang our quack anthem in a European tongue (English), hired a quack European coach to make us look like we were a serious country, and still lost like school children to a very average European side that has a population less than Rivers State.

You see, Oyibo know the value in preparation, and ethnic nationality, while we know how to copy and paste the worse of their culture to the relegation of our own.

Time to totally re-examine Africa
Yea the refs be screwing the African countries a lot. Just like the handball from last years World Cup that they didn’t call.

Our players lost motivation and organization in the 2nd half. I feel if not for those bad calls that led to those goals, we could have had a different game and different outcome.

With the whites, I don’t know what there up to with them using their refs to sabotage the African teams.
SportsRe: Norway Vs Nigeria: FIFA Women's World Cup (3 - 0) Full Time by Favor99(m): 3:00am On Jun 09, 2019
The Nigerian team played well in the first half.
They just gave up 3 unlucky goals. Two of those goals where set up from dodgy officiating from the ref.

By the time the ref stopped calling bogus fouls against Nigeria it was too late, damage was done.

So Nigerias performance was good in the first half until the bias ref called fouls against the Super Falcons which led to goals and turned the match to an uphill battle, effectively draining life and momentum from the Nigerian side

I agree with you partially BUT recognizing our individuality is not mutually exclusive to developing technologies/IT. Both can happen side by side.

[b]Some of these Nations are much more ethnically homogeneous than Nigeria. otherEuropean Nations much less diverse than Nigeria [/b]have had their fair shares of ethnic fights too.

What is wrong is the flimsy penchant for TRIBALISM by many Nigerians when it suits them.

Recognizing tribal differences is natural and can't easily be put away (A lot of tribes can be identified by their facial attributes/stature or accent. this can hardly be changed).

Tribalism as discrimination is what's bad.

Most Nigerians given to tribal discrimination online can never, for Instance, [not apply to a company owned by an individual of a tribe they hate] or [Not sell goods to a member of a tribe they hate] or [Not enter a commercial vehicle driven by a member of a tribe they hate].

You see the pattern? Their tribal discrimination ends where their commercial interests/convenience begin.

This is the height of hypocrisy.

A true tribal hater should go the long haul, shouldn't S/he ?

I'll be very interested to see a true discriminatory tribalist (hater) Not apply for a job for tribal reasons, not do business(at his loss) for tribal reasons, not travel to states (even for beneficial reasons) for tribal reasons. that's a true hater (tribalist).

The typical Nigerian tribal hater is a selective hater (Hater by convenience). they don't mind being on a forum created by a person of a tribe they hate or being employed by a company owned by a person of a tribe they hate. they only hate when it's comfortable (usually on faceless forums or on some social media
pages).

My take: True TRIBALISM would stunt you(fake haters know this already). break free from it. Our diversity confer on us more advantages as a Nation by harnessing the proclivities and perculiarities of the different groups.
Its true that they are more homogenous than us. But the reason we look at ourselves the way we are, is because we value what is unique and different about ourselves more than the many things we share in common. The different ethnic groups are more alike than many of think. We should look at ourselves for what makes us simialar than different.

If we compare ourselves to Europeans and Asians, it is then we start seeing similarities between an Igbo man and a Hausa man.
If you go outsides the shores of Nigeria or even Africa, you'll see how Nigerians finally see these similarities and come together as one.

But countries like Germany, Ireland, Indonesia and Italy where once composed of hundreds of tribes at one point but they came together formed one nation and the rest is history.

All this tribe A vs tribe B thing is a distraction. We are wasting too much time and focus on the wrong things. We need to focus on technology and I.T
