chukwudi44: That is what section 3(d) is for,the act requires the person to confirm the declarations or make corrections if any oversight may have led to some wrong declaration. It is only after such a confirmation and an anomaly is still detected before the CCB can head to the tribunal. The CCB chairman obviously acting on the proddings of their political paymasters quickly rushed to the CCT!! They would end up disgracing themselves as the trial unfolds talking about a hunter being hunted. Good. The chairman should also b probed |

zicoraads: I know most of the people that have commented so far didn't even read the whole article.
Well, so far so good, a very good speech. It captured the main events in the country, Africa and the world at large. And I also love the fact that he didn't dwell too much on his trial, but also made sure the distinguished Senators understood that he is being tried because he went against the party to emerge the president of the Senate.
In a way, he is trying to tell them that 'I might be the one being hounded today, but then, it might be you tomorrow'.
That said, I can't wait for Buhari's ministerial list. May God help anyone who has a little blemish on that list. This Senate will literally chew them up and toss them out. so true. Bukola don tey for this business. He is also smart. I love the part about his trial. He nailed it. |

[quote author=lovesamzy post=38451257]It is high time APC start the real business of Governance (infrastructural development, job creation, creating enabling environment for investors etc) and stop the hostility between themselves. Buhari and Osinbanjo we know, God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria[/quot e] a house divided against itself cannot stand. If the senate president has no iota of regard for VP n a govt n buhar refuses to call both to order then there is a big leadership problem. Buhari should stop being for nobody n start calling peeps to order. I pity elrufai, he thinks nigeria is made up of only housa fulani he shouldn't forget that those he demolished their houses are waiting for him. |

“They have planned to use the oversight functions to blackmail us and you know when you are blackmailed whether rightly or wrongly, the public will have a negative impression about you and we don’t want to create that room at all.
if you guys are pure and carry out genuine oversight functions you ll have nothing to fear by accepting committee chairmanship positions.
this your reason is a pointer to the fact that there are no genuine senators in your camp!!! gam! Cux a clear conscience fears no accusation.
