One hour after President Buhari made the nationwide broadcast rendering old 500 and 1000 notes as no longer acceptable as a legal tender in Nigeria, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora commission and SSA Diaspora member, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has hailed the decision of Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwoolu to flout Buhari's directive as progressive.

Babajide Sanwoolu had, in series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle warned citizens not to reject old notes or face imprisonment and sanctions which is a direct contrast to President Buhari's directive announced at 7am, Thursday morning.

Could Madam Abike be working against Buhari's government and thereby commiting treason and an act of insubordination?
