Celebrities / Re: I Am Still Looking For Husband – Linda Ikeji (Photo) by fbabs(m): 2:57pm On Dec 02, 2020
jawalis:
The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity". Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate.

His boss understood it.

You know PDP insisted that he drops Shuaibu so they can allow him become the party's flag bearer.
But Obaseki refused to drop him.

If you remember, that was why he tried to approach one of the smaller party at the time.

You are very correct

I think I have said this so many times and damn tired of saying it again.

Get yourself a loyal and trustworthy friend like shaibu and you can both grind through whatever trials life may pose.

This was a man that had all the opportunity to abandon obaseki but refused. A man who was promised billions to disown obaseki along with other juicy stuff he refused. A man who stood alone with obaseki when obaseki was disowned like a stray dog. A man who had all to lose by staying with obaseki but he remained by his side

A dogged fighter and the political backbone of the obaseki campaign. A grassroots politician and a strongman as well. Let me stop here.

Family / Re: How Guys Use Marriage To Plunge Themselves Into Perpetual Poverty. by fbabs(m): 12:02pm On Jul 21, 2020
Poseidon000:

If this is your idea of recrimination, then you suck at it. Just so we're clear; it's been eon I last had a relationship. I'm comfortable, but I presently don't have a woman friend not to talk of a wife, so, your postulation is balderdash.

Let me pretend to believe what you said about your brother: that your brother have a different story, does not mean it's the prevalent case. In fact, his case is miniscule on the scale of 1/10 as obtainable in our society. Now, no sensible man will predicate his future on the probability of 'one' against 'nine.' That's akin to looking for a needle in a haystack. Not that there's no needle in the haystack, but what are the odd of finding it.

* No, I'm not God, but even the Christian Bible says: "A man who can't provide for his family, is worse than an infidel."

Just so you know, marriage give you this hustling mindset to be on your toes.
The highlighted is one of the major lies I aforementioned.
Let's put it into perspective. If as a bachelor you earn 4k per day, then spend 1k for feeding and another 1k for miscellaneous, leaving you with 2k to save for future investment that will avail you the financial laxity to venture into other enterprise or expand existing one, thus increasing your earning power to say 10k per day. At this juncture, you're to a large extent impervious to the cost implication of running a family. So, it's fine.

Now, let's say you got married with an earning of the same 4k per day. Remember you were spending 2k as a bachelor and saving the remaining 2k for the future. What you'll discover as a married man, is that; 4k will be barely enough to service the family, leaving you on the path of stagnancy, cause you'll be feeding from hand to mouth with no savings to venture into new waters of financial promise. Basically, you'll be retrogressing with the rise in inflation and graduating family expenses. In no time, you'll be wizened with dejection and suffering, consequently embroiling the innocent children you sired, in your self inflicted debacle.

Nuff said.

Can I send you a PM, I want to learn from you?

I served at Ozubulu in Anambra state.. I played for Living Faith Church throughout.. That was when I knew ladies love MUSICALLY INCLINED PEOPLE... I even organized a birthday party 4 myself(Me wey be introvert)...
Now, I have learnt u need to be social to succeed,I can start a conversation with a stranger now.. but 4 ladies part(I dey run from them now because when dem see say I dey jovial... Dem don fall b that).. Social skills is the best, it gives extroverts edge above only INTELLECTUALLY GIFTED PEOPLE

Well, many of the doctors he trained still practice in this country. He was also active in the setting up of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, and also wrote many papers and textbooks, including the noted Compendium of Clinical Medicine (which I used in medical school by the way)

I should note that I am a Nigerian doctor, practicing in Nigeria, trained in Nigeria and currently doing residency in Nigeria. Not all of us went abroad.

Also, medical care has improved in Nigeria. As an example, in my home village 60 years ago, if you fell seriously sick, the nearest proper hospital was 2-3 hours away. Now, it's just 30 minutes away.

If it wasn't for people like him, many of the doctors and nurses you see in Nigeria won't have been here.

Plus, doctors and nurses treat many Nigerians sucessfully every day. The problem is, the press reports the bad cases, and keeps quiet about the good cases.

Well to use an example....Professor Ben Nwabueze, the legal expert, was spnsored to school by a relatively well to do relative. When he was ready to go to university, he applied for a scholarship which was offered by the Colonial authorities for promising youth

Mass free education started under Awolowo, and later under the Army rule (espicially via UPE). Today, most primary and secondary government schools are free (but poorly equipped)..

Well, NMA has been going on strike, and screaming about how bad the health system has been for deacdes. It's because most Nigerians think it is about their pockets all the time.

Also, healthcare is poorly funded . We have a budget of $26billion this year, out of which we spend about $3 billion on health. Many European countries spend at least $100billion on health.

GOD BLESS you sir

You won my heart with this your comment that I have to go through all your posts on this forum

Only foolish men will argue this or start defending ladies. The op is right. If you feel your woman is different then STFU and wait for time, stop defending what you dont know. Most corpers fuckup a lot...I always advice guys, don't marry an undergraduate girl or a girl going for NYSC, wait for her to finish and whatever she is then accept it, don't put yourself on a tight corner girls don't usually have sense until they have made several mistakes in their life and by then, they are done with schooling, done with NYSC and their stay at home wondering what next for them in life brings their senses back and draw some closer to God.

Undergraduate girls are for fun not for marriage; don't say you were not warned!! Guys telling you these things are the same guys fvcking these undergraduate girls and coepers for free, listen to them and learn, you are not Puyol or Sergio Ramos that must defend everything you see, learn and move on sad

slegerman:
Just a head up, my people,

I know with the Lockdown and inactivity in the economy, many are desperate to find an alternative to making money.

This is quite good, but be careful of parting the little amount you have to people claiming to teach you how to make $500, $700, $1000 or any amount in a month. All of these people NEVER made 50,000 Naira a month from this so called knowledge of theirs. If they are actually make money from this knowledge, i bet you, they wouldn't have the time to "waste" some hours to do training for you. Please use that money to stock up and eat well during this period. Things will get back to normal soon.

Engaging someone who renders a service is different and can be considered if you are interested in the services that person renders at an agreed fees.

Please don't pay for services upfront.

Be safe out there.

This is one of the best advice so far on Nairaland
90% of these "online" business men and women are scammers
GOD WILL BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY
