In the midst of a global pandemic with the presidential election just months away, the Justice Department asked the Supreme Court on Thursday to invalidate the Affordable Care Act, the landmark health care law that enabled millions of Americans to get insurance coverage and that remains in effect despite the pending legal challenge.

In a late-night filing, Solicitor General Noel Francisco said that once the law's individual coverage mandate and two key provisions are invalidated, "the remainder of the ACA should not be allowed to remain in effect." The justices will hear arguments in the case sometime next term, although it is unclear if they will occur before the November election.

During a health pandemic, after defunding W.H.O., Trump wants to stop Obamacare for the less priviledge. So many lives have been saved during this pandemic with Obamacare, if not the deaths will have skyrockcated more than the almost 125k death currently.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ordered Judge Emmet Sullivan to dismiss the case against former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, a possible conclusion to a long-running political fight.

Despite Flynn twice pleading guilty for lying to the FBI about his conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition, the Justice Department moved last month to dismiss the case against him. Sullivan did not immediately act, instead asking for a review of the decision.
If unchallenged with further appeals, the ruling exonerates Flynn after he sought to change his plea and claimed innocence.
Flynn's case has become a touchstone for President Donald Trump and his supporters in their criticism of the FBI's Russia investigation and special counsel Robert Mueller's criminal prosecution of several Trump campaign associates.

CNN is not on freeview like aljazeera in UK.

U can get CNN on cable and not all cable. The broadband I use don't have CNN either. Good for me. I stopped watching CNN like like 6 yrs ago and what nailed the coffin was it's role during the bring back our girls saga. They really escalated the thing. What BBC couldn't do even though they had the power and right as our motherhen.
