The US Department of Justice is the one that sued Bolton.

Bolton was national security adviser, a very sensitive position, and the DOJ sued bolton for putting classified information in the book which is a criminal offense.

Yes you're correct Trump is not taking Bolton court, but rather the USDOJ, acting on behalf of Trump.

Bolton rightly should be sued if he had signed NDA and still went ahead to write in his memoir classified information.

when you want to do PR and marketing for your book, you give samples to the press to review the content, interviews the author, the author gives the audience a bit of what the book is all about, also the interviewers show the audience the title and cover of the book so that they can pre-order the book before it is released, it is the same stuff they do with movies, before a movie is released in the theater, they do PR and marketing, they show trailers, do interviews with major actors, press conference, media briefing, reviewers will watch the movie , review and rate and also entice movie goers so that they can watch it in the cinemas.

A federal judge denied on Saturday the Trump administration's request to block the release of John Bolton's memoir, noting that the former national security adviser's book had already been "printed, bound and shipped across the country."

U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said the Justice Department’s request to suppress the tell-all book on national security grounds would be impossible to enforce, but criticized Bolton's decision to move ahead with publication without the explicit go-ahead from the government.

"While Bolton's unilateral conduct raises grave national security concerns, the government has not established that an injunction is an appropriate remedy," Lamberth wrote.

Lamberth's ruling came after a nearly two-hour hearing conducted on Friday by videoconference and telephone due to coronavirus restrictions.

“The horse, as we used to say in Texas, seems to be out of the barn,” Lamberth said at the outset of Friday's hearing. “It certainly seems difficult to me about what I could do about those books all over the country.”

Between this and the shitstorm brewing in the Dept of Justice, Trump doesn't seem to be having a good start to the weekend. Trump's show later this evening at Tulsa should be interesting.

DOJ tries to oust US attorney investigating Trump allies

The Justice Department moved abruptly Friday night to oust Geoffrey S. Berman, the U.S. attorney in Manhattan overseeing key prosecutions of President Donald Trump’s allies and an investigation of his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. But Berman said he was refusing to leave his post and his ongoing investigations would continue.

“I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning, my position,” Berman said. His statement came hours after Attorney General William Barr said Berman was stepping down from his position.

The move to oust Berman also comes days after allegations surfaced from former Trump national security adviser John Bolton that the president sought to interfere in an Southern District of New York investigation into the state-owned Turkish bank in an effort to cut deals with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Trump began by answering the question but then brought John Bolton up again.

As for DACA It's not a free for all. It's a very limited amount of people, they literally have to apply and pay to stay in the country every year, and there are tons of rules they have to follow so as to not get deported, and it's not a path to citizenship.

There's nothing new there, John Robertshas been siding with liberals for a longtime and it's not really about Trump, any dirty judge will do as told by the deepstate or blackmailed.

Trump has been begging for Congress to make DACA a law since 2017 and not just an Obama's order he is not obligated to renew. If Obama didn't make it permanent and Congress is not making it a law, then Trump sees no reason to renew it. It's now on stock on the supreme court with an open-ended arguments that Trump didn't go about it the right way.

The issue of DACA is a football being passed around and will be revisited again when the chief justice John Roberts is swept out with the rest of the deepstate. He had the visit to Jefrey Epstein's Island and the black market adoption in Ireland hanging over him and will go down for them or other things Q was talking about.

So whose fault is it, if for the first 2 years of Trump's presidency the GOP controlled the 3 branches of government couldn't vote to end DACA. They even struggled to stop ACA - Obamacare.
