basty:lol he's a real Yoruba man, he's not biased, he's written things against the east and also the north too and has received curses from them too. |
if this is a prophecy then he's wrong but if it's a normal saying then he's wrong again, Why isn't he asking his resident pastors what's happening all over the country. doesn't he know people will start boycotting his churches especially from the East and south, MASSOB said something last week, maybe he didn't listen, he should go to the streets and ask the common man what they think rather than saying things that are contrary. none of the preachers in that region are preaching about this because they've seen the handwriting on the wall, MENE MENE TEKEL PARSIN |
stop reading newspapers and watching TV. go to South south, walk on the streets ask people questions. then you'll find out for yourself. |
KahlDrogo:have you ever heard of a SS & SW Meeting of governors before? do you really think south South will stay? |
rasco2000me:so you want him to roll on the ground for you, right? |
please is nnamdi kanu lying? |

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has said that despite that he collected only N4.3 billion from the Federal government as federal allocations, he has been able to pay workers in the State. He disclosed this shortly on his arrival from Abuja at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar. He said, “As you all know, we got N4.3 billion in the last three months as federal allocation, an indication that it is impossible for us to pay salaries, but we have continuouslypaid salaries, for which my colleagues embrace me and say, ‘you are a magician because we don’t know how you are doing it”“Cross River will not only pay salaries, we will construct thesuperhighway and the deep seaport” and on where will he get money to construct the super highway project and the deep sea, Governor Ayade said “funding the project would not be a problem. Please leave that to Ayade”He added, “Impossibility actually is a giant coward, but for sure, and surely, when you bring the intellectual architecture into it, impossibilities will disappear” and stressed “We are creating a new economic structure that will redefine Nigeria and take advantage of the huge mineral resources that we have in the Middle Belt of the country. We are heading for an explosion and what Cross River will be in the next three years, you will never believe it”Kano Assembly Speaker, Kabiru Rurum resigns over Emir Sanusi’s probeLauding critics and detractors who did everything to frustrate the project, Ayade said: “By so doing, they made us to go to the drawing board to bring the best of our most celestial intellect, put it on course to ensure that this works”According to him, “For those who thought that it was impossible to get an approval for the superhighway, for those who fabricated stories that the whole idea of the superhighway was intended to go into deforestation, they will see construction work that will start”Insisting that he was never daunted by the delay in approving the EIA, he said: “I wasn’t daunted because as a professional, I knew we were within the time frame, but because it was already overtaken by political clowns, we started having a different impression”Ayade, however, said: “We must put God at the centre of all of it because it is only God who knows our heart, knows the purity, commitment and the accumulated prosperity that will come with this project. I am also sure that it is at the behest of God that it came on the day it did. “I must single out President Muhammadu Buhari and the Acting president, Yemi Osinbajo for keeping faith and seeing the deep vision of the project. The Federal Ministry of Environment also deserves a pat on the back for painstakingly going through every single correction and coming out with an approved document to kick start the project.” http://dailypost.ng/2017/07/03/still-pay-workers-salaries-despite-low-allocation-gov-ben-ayade/ |

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to be sincere about his health status and toe the path of honour by bowing out of office, if he can no longer functionas President. The Party stressed that Buhari should now do so, since he demanded same from late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua in 2009. Speaking to DAILY SUN in Uyo, the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, Ini Ememobong, said: “Much as I sympathize with Mr. President, it depends on the kind of illness.“If it is prolonged and it is obvious that he may not recover, the President should know what to do. There are different types of illnesses.“We have prolonged illnesses; we have brief illnesses. Incidentally, it is even brief illness that kills people more. In the current circumstances, the President has admitted that he has never been this sick.Buhari should do what he asked Yar’Adua to do in 2009 – PDP“So, much as we sympathize with him, the President cannot be on sick leave forever. People who voted did not vote a sick President; or did not vote a President who should be on the sick bed forever.“ We voted a President whom we expect should be active and work. In the circumstance, one of the conditions for someone who aspires to public office is that such a person should be fit in body and mind.“Therefore if the President finds out that maybe, by reason of age or health complications, he is no longer capable or fit to govern Nigeria, then he can do what is honourable. He can do what he advised Yar’Adua to do or what he advised the federal executive council under Yar’Adua to do.” http://dailypost.ng/2017/07/03/buhari-asked-yaradua-2009-pdp/ |
A former Minister of Information and current National President of the Middle Belt Forum, Prof. Jerry Gana, has told northerners preaching division that if Nigeria breaks, the minorities in the Middle Belt will not follow them. Gana said this while delivering a sermon at the St. Matthew’s Church, Maitama, Diocese of Abuja (Anglican Communion), in Abuja on Sunday. The Middle Belt is believed to have the largest number of ethnic groups in Nigeria. The former minister, who was the guest preacher, therefore, lambasted the Coalition of Arewa Youth Groups for issuing a quit notice to Igbo living in the North. Gana said, “They think when it comes to break-up, we will go along with the North. We have already told them that if they allow this country to break up, we are not going with the North. We are staying where we are. So, just take notice. If it comes to that, we will tell you that you are Arewa and we are ‘Middle-Belters.’“We love Nigeria and it was changed to a federal system because of the minorities so that we can have a place. So, we love Nigeria but in the unlikely event that people want to go their way, the Arewa in the Sahel will go. But we will remain here in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”The former minister also slammed a former Vice-Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University and the spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, for supporting the quit notice issued by the northern youths.Gana said nobody had the right to dictate to a citizenof Nigeria where he could live.He added, “One of them, who also spoke is a former vice-chancellor. I thank God he didn’t sign my certificate. My own was signed by Prof. Ishaya Audu. How can a man of that stature, of that status, of that level of leadership, says he supports the youths in Kaduna to give to other legitimate citizens, an order to go? Who are you? Who says that?“In this country, there are no second-class citizens. We are all first class. We are all sons and daughters of this land and that was why I decided to call a conference of all the minorities from 14 states and we had to state in clear words that the quit notice was totally unconstitutional. This is our home.” Gana said the way forward was for the Federal Government to embrace restructuring as the solution to the nation’s challenges or the nation would die.Gana, who said even former presidents were beginning to support restructuring, advised the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government to entertain dialogue and debate. The ex-minister said, “In democracy, dialogue is the language, consultation is the way. Two cannot work together unless they agree. So, there needs to be dialogue and mutual respect.“Anywhere you have diversity of ethnicity or religion in the world, the type of system that works is federalism. And that is the way. And each one must build his federal system the way it suits him. It cannot be imposed; it cannot be engineered in favour of one person.” Meanwhile, a former military Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, has urged Nigerians to shun all forms of violence, criminal acts and behaviour capable of dividing the country. The News Agency of Nigeria reported that Gowon made the call on Sunday in Sokoto at a one-day National Prayer Rally organised by Nigeria Prays.“ We should value the lives of our fellow human beings that God has created for a purpose. May we never take lives with impunity.“We are offering fervent prayers that Nigerians will never raise their hands against one another.“They should love one another irrespective of religious, ideological, political and ethnic affinities,” he added.Gowon, the National Convener, Nigeria Prays, appealed to Nigerians to collectively pray for the speedy recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari. He also urged Nigerians to pray for the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and leaders at all levels. He solicited for sustained prayers for peace, unity and socio-economic prosperity of Nigeria.Gowon said, “Prayer can solve problems better and faster than soldiers, as well as physical weapons of war.“ I have no doubt in my heart that God will honour our collective prayer and intercession for our dear nation, as well as heal our nation of insecurity.“ May we experience abundance of God’s mercy and showers of blessings over our lives and our nation aswe raise our voices in heartfelt prayers today in Sokoto, ‘’ he said. http://www.thebreakingtimes.com/middle-belt-minorities-will-not-go-with-north-if-nigeria-splits-jerry-gana/ |

The agitation for Biafra republic yesterday received a boost as some Yoruba youths declared support forthe struggles. Leader of the group, Eric Oluwale, who conveyed thisposition yesterday when he visited the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu inhis father’s home at Afaraukwu Umuahia, said they have lost confidence in Nigeria. Oluwole, who was in Kanu’s country home with some members of the group said they came to identify with the IPOB leader on his struggles for Biafra restoration. “The Yoruba nation is behind Kanu on the quest for Biafra republic. We believe in Biafra; we also believe in Oduduwa republic. “We don’t have confidence in the Inspector General of Police for failing to arrest the Arewa youths who issued quit notice to Ndigbo living in the North. We don’t have confidence in Northern leaders. We don’t have confidence in Nigeria.”Oluwale said that Yoruba youths had firmly resolved to push for Oduduwa Republic because they had discovered Nigeria could no longer work together as a united entity. He said that any ethnic group in Nigeria that wants to discontinue with the union should be allowed to go. Oluwale said that the position of Yoruba youths on way forward for Nigeria was either referendum or restructuring. He advised the Federal Government to allow variousnationalities agitating for self-determination to have their way as any attempt to the contrary would spell doom for the country. http://www.thebreakingtimes.com/yoruba-group-visits-nnamdi-kanu-pledges-support-for-biafra/ |
