Obalande to lekki. N600
Lekki to Ajah. N300
Total= N2400

Ajah to Oworo. N1200
Oworo to oshodi. N600
Total= N1800

Oshodi to Obanlede. N1200
Or lekki. N2000/1500

To Ajah. N300

Total: N2500

Grand total for morning rush

You date a woman for more than 2yrs without a single quarrel and you happy believing you two are perfect partners for yourselves, ba? I pity you.

Never believe you know someone when you've never hurt them or see them get angry.

No vex bro....but he has told you the truth in his own language...dont put your money in ehailing atleast for now....
Reason I don't like giving advice, but since I've discovered its a natural gift from God I still do it but most time it doesn't turn out well for because such responses are just a few I get but my joy is everyone that takes them ends up celebrating.

That was how someone called me the other day and wants to buy a Lexus for ehailing so asked of my opinion and advice.

I simply responded by saying "Lexus for ehailinghuh! Who do you want to impress? Riders or what? Or you think it will gibe you more off trips? How many rider would wait 1hr or more for you to pick them for a trip they can book, get a driver in less than 5min and even pay less couple with the fact you've to drive some distance empty to pick up.

He laughed and hanged up.

Corona virus is here and will be with us for a very ling time- WHO.

Things will never be the way they use to be, a wise person should be thinking and looking at other lines of business.

Take for an instance, the LASG is making plans on total ban on keke and bikes in lagos state.
Would this be a positive turn on the ehailing platform? I dont know.

If I where him that 2m will buy me 2-3mini busses which I'll recoup my capital and interest under 12months at most.

A popular adage says "some people get head but no get cap to wear while some get cap but them no get head".

I'm not arguing whether it's right or wrong. I'm just telling you the advantage of having your original driver's license with you

If FRSC catches you for any offence, they WILL NOT impound your car if you have your Original Drivers License or Original Vehicle Particulars.

The moment you don't have any of these, they will carry your car to their office, even if the offense is as small as a faulty trafficator.

I just wanted to correct the notion that it's unwise to use your Original DL while driving.

Thank you

Hello guys,

I'm looking to stash away some money for a while and I have decided to invest in Uber/Bolt.

The max I have for this purpose is 2m. I have made some research and I found out that I can get a Camry 05/06 for about max 1.85m.

I have no experience in this line, I have only had a friend invest in the same business 2years ago and he told me it's a cool investment.

I have some questions on my mind, is Uber/Bolt still taking drivers?

What are the chances of meeting the weekly return as a new driver, I heard it's somewhere around 25-30k weekly?

I would appreciate your response and advice. Thanks

NB:- I won't be the one driving, I have a driver already and he's some nice guy I have known for years.
Them no dey tell blind man say rain dey fall.

Invest in ehailing at this time at your own peril.

Driving with your original DL has an advantage, especially for FRSC

If he's booked by the road safety, they can actually seize his original DL instead of impounding his car.

I use my original DL, but na only Road Safety I dey present am to.
Road safety don't have any business with your original DL they're the issuer of the DL, even id they want to confirm it's authentity they have the licence No on the laminated copy to do that. Just that the country is a lawless state and her biodata is in total mess else if FRSC books you you shouldn't be able to drive not until you sort things out with them.

I only drive with my original DL when I'm traveling outside Lagos but first I give them my laminated copy, I make sure my docs are ok apart from tyers which is a norms but if tje matywr no get settlement highest be say make dem sieze my fire extinguisher or spare tyer.

But first thing first, which is the clue I always apply. I drive behind a trailer or I slowdown for a trailer to be behind me once I sight them In front of me. Only those on highway can relate.

Thing is Bolt still has a lot of work to do on its app.

For instance, rider requested, you pick request, less than 2 secs, rider has cancelled embarassed n you pin such cancellations on the driver.

I mean is it possible to communicate wt rider in 3 secs.

Their app needs some serious overhaul,
I feel most of their ellapses are deliberate to capture the market.

It was still your lucky day bro. The riders I have picked before would not pay that money. And Bolt /Uber don't care about enlightening these people.
In fact, they are quick to sanction you if such riders give you low rating. So pathetic.
Dont blame this on bolt or uber this time but on the driver who still chose to go on a ride when a passenger refuses to make use of a facemask.

As you make a request it is clearly stated to have and make use of a facemask and recommended or advised to take the back seat just to keep distance but riders (Nigerians) that like acting like the boss even when they can't afford the fare instead someone else is paying for them are very fast to follow the recommended adviced that is of no value to them by taking the back seat but refuse to use a facemask. Low life and bossy Nigerians.

In the other hand, the driver who has the power in their hands to give a warning and if the passenger still refuses to use the fm end the trip but they won't.

So who is more foolish? And who is breakingbthe law the most? The rider or the driver?
PoliticsPDP Or APC: Which Is Better For Nigeria? by Felicity0001(op): 11:25am On Jun 07, 2020
This question has been bugging my heart for some time now and I think it's worth debating.

Base on party structure, cure values, mission and experience thus far both in the federal and state level which among the two parties do you think is best for Nigeria as a country and for her citizens?

Please leta be constructive in our points without any form of insults. Yes it is believed it's the same people but looking at the mission, structure and fundamentals of what these two parties represent one can easily tell which has a better intent and plan that suits Nigerians.

Let's discuss.

Some riders pick up location will be like this, they will still be insisting you come and pick them up. At this point I use my discretion
Lolzzz... I've parked my car one time trekked like 200m distance to make I entered the radius where the request came in from before cancelling. Cash my N300 cancellation.

I don't get it, weather they want drivers to come carry them from their room I don't know.

Come finish this story if you no want problem
Continuation....

Me: please step out of thw car, I related the 2nd time.

Dude then asked his gf to step out. She slammed the door in vextation.

Just as I was about driving off dude was still talking "I will make sure I report this to taxify". In my mind I was like "who cares".

I drove off and cleared at the bustop along the express way, another request came in, destination Ketu, PU location Arepo b/s. Immediately she cancelled. This happened twice.

The dude request came in I accepted, he cancelled twice.

A 3rd one came in, called rider she said she was going to Iyana Ipaja I was like this one even favour me I will just go home afterwards. Immediately dude called me back, started begging saying its like I'm the only one around bla bla bla... I told him I already had a request will get back to him.

Called rider again she was like are you outside?
Her distance from me was about 500m I then suggested she meets me at the b/s because dlof the bad road, she said "I'm paying for you to pick me up so you've to drive down.
In my mind I was like, another one. I rather face the devil I already meet.

As i Cancel dude's gf request enter sharp!.

The End!

I dey ibafo like this ,first trip from mainland. Abeg how much I fit charge to Berger becos if I wait for request na wahala be that. Na cake i go deliver so I no even no say e go far like that though it was less than 1hr 40min trip
Last week I went there it was by miracle I got a trip back and it was very dramatic.

Took some boys from ikeja to magoro, thank God the turn back to berger was just like 200m away under a bridge. A request with Ketu destination entered just as I was about entering the express. PUD 5.4km, (I'd rather do it than blow empty back to berger with the traffic) Called rider immediately but the description wasn't clear enough so I decided to used the map not knowing the dude is among the geng that doesn't know how to set PU location when making a request. 1.4km to PUL road was bad I dexides to atop, called rider to meet me up because I can't continue again. Rider said ok. Few minutes later dude called, after asking from people nearby we discovered I was at the wrong location while rider was at Arepo bus stop. Chai!!! GMap was saying 10km to PU...oboy!!! Instead of me ti cancel at that point my sense didnt interpret to me na so one of the guys that directed me offered to take me there on his bike. Dude was following up on the phone(that was my only motivation).

Las las we arrived at Arepo b/s only to find out say na the guy babe dey go in the trip.
The stupid girl has already jump into back seat.

Babe: you kept us in the sun waiting all these time when u know u r not... Bla bla bla

Bikeman: Na here be the place Bros

Dude: Do you accept transfer?

Me: already wind down trying to thank the bikeman while trying to explain to dude he make a mistake on his request, seeing he wasn't even interested in that, I switched attention to the bikeman, Egbun mi how much make I pay na,

Bikeman: Anything way enter you mind

Dude was still asking about transfer, his babe was there saying things, all of these events happended within about 30secs, my blood pressure I'm sure had gone above the normal because I was already exasperated.

The one that blow my fuse was when, as I ask dude to settled the bikeman because he didn't put d right PU address, the next tin was his gf said on whose bill?

Dude supportes by saying I'm not paying any bikeman you re supposed to pick me up from my location.

Me: You know what? I'm not going on this trip afain.
I gave the bikeman N200. Cancel trip, pls step out of my car.

At this point dude was vibrating saying every words that came out of his mouth..

To be continued...

thanks for your time
lots of food for thought
will keep my out for a viable business.

I really want something to make me money this december
Bafter option on transportation to invest in now is mini bus.

Before The ban on keke and bikes that bus used to be sold around 500-800k, right now I'm sure it must have gone as high as 1m. So you probably would want to consider that, daily balancing in some areas like GRA ikeja is about 5k. HP is about 2times the value. All you need do is carry out a comprehensive insurance and pray to get a good person.

But most importantly, pray about any business you want to go into this period because I heard in the news LASG is making plans of bringing in those mini busses next month or there about in large quantities to help fill the loop by the ban of bikes and keke.

So pray my dear friend, pray.

You’re supposed to be intelligent or street smart. When you call a rider, can’t you guess from their tone how their attitude might be? Yet sometimes after the perceived notion that this might be trouble, you accept the trip and come here later to lament how the rider maltreated and abused you. What were you expecting?

You can’t keep eating shit, simply quit and never get to deal with any ill-mannered rider. You want to use force to treat your fellow man or else your existence becomes irrelevant lol

Take deep breaths with your diaphragm bro. It’s really good for the mind and body. Cheers
Guy some riders are a disguise in their approach on phone why some are not.

Why are snakes regarded as one of the most dangerous animals on earrh? A cobra can hide in the sand just attack, how about a green snake? So drop it!.

2days ago a lady with calm gentle voice and with good manners kept me waiting for over 15mintues that was after several calls I'd put through to get the right PU address and even pee after arriving, came back to thw car call again. After about almost 20min of waiting I'd had to cancel after driving out. It took her another 10min before calling asking me where I was, still in her gentle and calm voice on the phone.

So guy hash all those preaches, you probably didnt meet the ugly once or maybe the good hadn't gone bad during the time you rode; I encourage you to do a 1 week test one of these days then come back and tell us how far.

Assuming you were in the midst of the wrong set of people (his guys), what would be the story? Them go arrest them surely, but how you go be after the assault?

Bro, it has nothing to do with ego. No one with ego does this business in the first place, let alone doing over 1500 trips. I have met the good, the bad and the ugly. At the end of the day, we are all humans and can't keep eating shit because of money or to avoid being judged.

We also have a duty to change our community the best way we can. Sometimes, force may be the only option left. If we just sit there and keep watching our fellow humans behave like animals and mistreat us, then our reason for existence becomes irrelevant by our inaction.

It doesn't make sense to keep serving a community that abuses you. You have to make an effort to keep it in check, the smallest of effort may go a long way. Using a whip on an adult may not be the best, it's on the extreme, but don't sit there and watch yourself being bashed just because you only have money on your mind.

As for pepper spray, it's my first line of defense and everyone should have it. You just have to know where and when to use it. If you arrest me unjustly and I see that my path is clear, I'll pepper spray you, push you out of my car and make a run for it. Lagos is not where you allow every Tom, Dick and Harry to ram you up and down.
100% you ear my respect.
