Can you guys just stop this talk of betrayal abeg....this is someone who stood for what he felt was the right thing and even put his life and career on the line.
So because he is from the same region with GEJ, he should have betrayed his belief on the alter of sentiment an tribalism abi.... Until we Nigerians stick out for the right thing irrespective of who/what is involved, then this nation wouldn't move forward.
Today, we talk of an end to corruption and hope the new government fight it head on. If the new president decides, in an attempt not to "betray" his friends, choose to be selective, do you think we will achieve anything??.

Please let's call a spade a spade....GEJ did so well yet, with few days to the end of his 5years tenure, no fuel, light, security, corruption everywhere, moribund agencies, sick economy..... the list goes on and on......

It still baffles me how PDP appointed FFK as spokesman....that decision was dead on arrival. you don't make such mistakes. Appointing someone who few months earlier was a big critic of the government to be her campaign spokesman was a NO NO.....even if Nigerians were draft, c'mon!
Of course nobody was ever going to take whatever he said serious. and for GEJ, I reserve my comment, a lot has been said of him already. Those who aspire to be leaders should learn to know what leadership truly means.

like seriously... why the ban?? and peeps are even hailing NCC here. The new plan is basically a kind of tariff reduction, though following the etisalat easy life plan....this is simply what competition brings to the market and MTN, known for overly extorting Nigerians over the years are trying to remain relevant by doing the needful.
My point therefore is that the NCC should focus on the more important aspect of regulations, such as ensuring quality of service, clarity of voice call, price control an general check.... rather than jumping to stop a mere tariff reduction which Nigerians truly deserve.

The recent activities of some of these agencies in the past few weeks leaves a lot to be desired.....suddenly a hitherto dead EFCC are now " reopening " a lot of forgotten files....subsidy...past govs...DPR trying to wake up and now this NDLEA, what have they been doing all these while??.
Meanwhile Buhari hasn't been sworn in yet o. It appears virtually all the regulatory agencies went to sleep all these years, knowing that the person at the top wasn't as serious. Or how would one explain the sudden turn around? What would have happened if GEJ had won??
No doubt change has come to Nigeria, and for us ordinary citizens, what we demand of the government are basic amenities, light, water, shelter, employment, good roads, security, accountability,fairness and equality, a reasonably corrupt free govt....these ain't much to ask for. Nigeria will be great again.
