I had the same problem with my Honda EOD. Took it to my mechanic and he changed my fuel pump, cleaned up the fuel filters with thinner, brought out the air filters and cleaned them then changed some bad spark plugs. When I put on the car its 'slow' became too high that he had to reduce it. It suddenly felt like a race car when cruising up or down hill!!!

Since I truly fell in love with my baby I've let go some of my lifestyles she considered "Bad Habits".

You Know, when you eventually finds that true girl that makes you fall so deeply in love , you let go of so many crazy things to please your woman .

(1) I used to be a bad ass smoker but for the sake of love, I stopped smoking .

(2) I spent over N200k on alcohol between November and December 29th 2017 but I've so reduced my alcohol intake because my pregnant girlfriend disliked my excess drinking habit .

(3) I've stopped going to club every Friday becase my girlfriend is preggy and needs me around like every time . Smh

(4) I no longer skips food because everything she prepared must be eaten together and she takes offense should I say "No" to her food.

(5) I no more watch football or African magic 'Igbo' .
She is a big fan of Telemundo and I must be by her side at all times to watch Soap Opera(s) with her and her favourite Soap is "Woman Of Steel".

(6) She doesn't like most of my friends.

(7) I no longer spend carelessly.

( I must compliment her at all time or else, she concludes I've started seeing another girl outside .



Is this what relationship is all about ?

I shouldn't have to bring this here, but I have exhausted other options.

mid last year I had to make an interstate journey and the only means available was by road. Shared a sit with this girl, around 28yrs old, tall and lighted skinned, didn't take long before we started talking. we got to our destination and thought we should exchange numbers, she was a lively person.

fast forward 2 weeks later, she called me that she needed to attend a wedding and that she's looking for money to buy "asoebi", she was like she wouldn't have called me if she had other options, i understand these things can be important to women, so I sent her N10k, she thanked me, called a couple of times to say hi.

Roughly a month after that, she called me again to say she went to visit someone in another state and what not and now she's stranded. I was going to say No, but my conscience won't let me, I tried to imagine if I were the one stranded like that, so I sent her money again. in all of this, I have never met her again after the first and last time we met.

December came and this girl called me to ask me what's for Christmas, laughed over it and told her nothing. she later sent me an sms asking me to please send her some money, at this point I felt I have had enough. I ignored her sms, she started calling me unending, sometimes I get as much as 15 missed calls from her. I blocked her number but then she would call with another number, blocked that too and she started calling me with private number. just this morning she sent me an sms saying why am I being WICKED. as in I don't understand, she's acting like I owe her or something.

I am surprised at the number of people calling me names for helping someone. I wasn't looking to start anything with her, I have never given her such impression. I saw a grown woman who I felt was in need and I helped. I am no stranger to help, we have all helped people in different capacity, people we don't know, even here on NL, a faceless forum, people get help.

Please Nairalanders where can one who works at Apapa live? I just got a job at Burma Apapa and I'm new in Lagos and want to know the best places where I can possibly rent accommodation in order to minimize traffic and other stress. I will like places that are close enough such that I can reach my workplace within 45mins.

Are there residential areas in Apapa itself? It looks more to me like an industrial area. Also suggest areas surrounding Apapa. How much is the average cost of a room miniflat in these areas?
