Romance › Re: Why Are Some Ladies Obsessed With iPhones So Much? by femi4: 3:21pm On Sep 26 |
Goo0dHardDick: Like in the days of Blackberry (BB), why do ladies, especially Nigeria ladies, value or obsessed over iPhone so much? They wouldn't mind giving you their bodies to get it. And if you are a phone seller, these ladies can sleep with you as much as you want just to get an iPhone (only a foolish business man will agree to this).
Imagine a girl instructing her boyfriend to get an iPhone x or XR, or 11, saying she doesn't want her android phone fixed but would rather prefer an iPhone instead meanwhile she didn't contribute a single dime to purchase the iPhone.
Guys hardly show off with their iPhones or expensive gadgets as they do not see it as something worthy to die for, probably because they bought it with their own money.
A girl came over to my house and upon sighting an iPhone on the table, she immediately told me she was using an iPhone 11 but got damaged and someone had to give her the current android phone she was using. I simply told her "ok" and then changed the topic. She again went back to the iPhone topic and kept telling me how she's a huge fan of iPhones and the android phone she's using she's just managing it, bla bla bla..
Why do ladies obsessed over iPhone? cos of quality camera to take pictures...that's all they know. They dont care about other features |

Romance › Re: She Doesn’t Want To Leave by femi4: 12:18pm On Sep 26 |
Codevalley: There’s something I’ve been thinking about seriously, and I feel I need to handle it carefully.
I have a girl I’m currently dating who has been staying with me. I had actually told her that she should go and come rather than make my place her permanent home.
Earlier this year, when her rent was due, she asked if she could move her things to my place. I said no at the time because I already knew that situations like this could eventually arise. Instead, I decided to assist her with part of her rent. The interesting thing is that the room is still available and currently has no occupant.
However, now that she is staying with me, whenever I bring up the issue of her going back to her place, she tends to avoid the discussion. Honestly, I’m getting tired of the situation, and at this stage, I feel confused about how best to handle it.
I have deliberately avoided using force or speaking harshly to her because I do not want to hurt or disrespect her. A friend even advised me to use force since she has been unwilling to leave, but I do not believe that is the right approach. I would rather handle the matter calmly and respectfully.
I have also tried to explain to her that asking her to return to her place does not mean that I am avoiding her or ending the relationship. I even suggested that she could come and stay with me at least three times a week, so that we could still spend time together while maintaining separate homes. My intention is to create some healthy space, not to reject her or make her feel unwanted.
At this stage of my life, I feel I need to be very intentional about marriage and the woman I eventually settle down with. I don’t want circumstances, convenience, or the fact that someone is already living with me to pressure me into settling for a relationship I’m not completely sure about.
The situation has also affected other potential relationships I was considering before now, and some of them have ended because of her presence in my life.
I care about her, but I also feel that I need some space and clarity to properly evaluate the relationship and decide whether she is genuinely the person I want to build my future with. I don’t think it is right for me to simply continue with the current arrangement because it has become convenient or difficult to change. At the same time, I want to resolve the situation peacefully, without force, insults, or unnecessary conflict. Those who had been in similar situation please how did you handle it? Tell her that you will pay her rent |
Romance › Re: Are There Men Like Me? Am I Putting Myself Under Pressure? by femi4: 12:14pm On Sep 26 |
Coder2Client: I’m someone who isn’t ashamed of being single.
I’m 36, and I’ll be 37 in December.
The honest truth is that I’m single. I’m not currently dating anyone. It’s not because I don’t ask women out—I do. But I’m not someone who enjoys talking too much, and sometimes the thought of having to constantly communicate, explain myself, and maintain a relationship feels stressful to me. Maybe that is one of the reasons I have remained single for this long.
My lifestyle is also very regimented. I have a routine that is so predictable that someone can almost tell when I’m at home and when I’m not.
Money is another major issue.
I currently earn ₦200,000 a month before tax, and I don’t have a side hustle at the moment. Sometimes I look at my income and wonder how I’m supposed to build the kind of life people expect from someone approaching 40.
I have even lied about being in a relationship when I know I’m not.
I’ve told people I have two children, even though I have never had children. I did it because I wanted people to stop asking questions and putting pressure on me. But ironically, while trying to escape other people’s expectations, I think I have ended up putting even more pressure on myself.
For a long time, I genuinely enjoyed being single.
The peace was beautiful.
No relationship drama. No constant explanations. No arguments. No pressure.
But lately, that peace is beginning to feel like loneliness.
I miss having someone.
And that is difficult for me to admit.
Another thing about me is that I give up easily on relationships. I can enter a relationship today and, a month later, lose interest and walk away without even properly explaining to the woman why I’m leaving.
I know that isn't a good quality.
My life has also been somewhat of a slow journey.
I started school at 11. I finished secondary school at 22. I completed tertiary education at 32. I started my teaching job earning ₦20,000 a month, and today, at 36, I earn ₦200,000.
You would think that increasing my income would make life easier.
But every time my income increases, inflation seems to move the goalpost.
What used to feel like enough no longer feels like enough.
And then there is friendship.
I have always struggled with keeping friends. Even as a child, I realised I didn't really have a flair for friendship. Today, I honestly don't have anyone I can confidently call my close friend.
I even remember a time when I would give people money just so they would play with me.
Looking back, that hurts.
I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't party. I don't womanise.
At work, I joke around, interact with people and eat good food. From the outside, I probably look like someone who is doing just fine.
But deep down, there is a part of me that genuinely misses being in a relationship.
I can go an entire month without making or receiving a personal phone call. Most of the calls I receive or make are work-related because I’m one of the leaders at my workplace.
Sometimes I wonder how I got here.
I don't think I’m a bad person.
I don't think I’m unattractive.
I don't think I’m incapable of loving someone.
Maybe I just became too comfortable being alone.
Maybe I have built such a structured and independent life that making room for another person now feels difficult.
Or maybe I simply haven't figured out how to balance my personality, finances, career, friendships and relationships.
I don't know.
But lately, being single doesn't feel as peaceful as it used to.
It is starting to feel a little boring.
So I’m genuinely asking:
Are there other men who are like this?
Men in their 30s who don't drink, smoke, party or womanise.
Men who have very few or no close friends.
Men who have become so comfortable being alone that they don't know how to let someone into their lives.
Men who are not necessarily unhappy, but deep down, still miss having someone to come home to.
I’d really like to hear from you. Get a car....dating will chase you |

Since Tanzania have already qualified automatically as co-hosts, and only one team will qualify alongside them from Group L,
Does that mean Tanzania’s results won’t count?
No! Tanzania’s results still count fully towards the Group L standings.
Although Tanzania have already qualified automatically as co-hosts, they will still play all six (6) of their qualification fixtures in Group L.
Their matches against Nigeria, Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau remain fully active, and the points gained or dropped in those matches will count in the group table.
If Tanzania finish 1st or 2nd, their position will simply be bypassed for qualification, and the next best-placed non-host team will take the available qualification spot.
If Tanzania finish 1st: The team that finishes 2nd will qualify alongside Tanzania.
If Tanzania finish 2nd: The team that finishes 1st will qualify alongside Tanzania.
If Tanzania finish outside the top two: The team that finishes 1st will qualify alongside Tanzania.
So, Tanzania’s matches are not meaningless. Every point won or dropped against Tanzania can directly affect the qualification race between Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau and Madagascar.
That’s why the Eagles cannot afford to drop any point.

ebubeson: Some people are not good enough for marriage, they have bad character in them, but may still feel they are genuinely good or probably good in some areas for marriage. They also may not be good, but may have emotions and feelings of love for the person they want to marry. These people are not the most dangerous people in marriage.
Who is The Most Dangerous Person in Marriage? The one that eagerly wants to marry you, knows that he or she is a bad person, has planned or thought of evil against you when the marriage happens, does not have feelings or emotions for you, is actively involved to see the marriage happen, makes the marriage process easy for you, pretends to love you, but has zero percent feeling of love for you, and may even want to kill you in the marriage. I am thinking of buying a car, but I don’t have enough cash to buy something decent. I have been thinking of buying Keke, not for private business but to be mobile at list. I haven’t discussed the Keke idea with my wife sha.
The plan is to be able to take her to work and pick her after work. What are your thoughts please.
