I sold my car few months ago when it started misbehaving and the mechanics saw it as a willing instrument of draining money from me; now a need a car badly (2 actually) so that madam and my 2nd wife (my daughter) can allow me use it.

i also need to change my accomodation (The present one is now too small and unbearable).

Please, God's pp join my family in prayers for these break2ro before the end of the year.

I know "He is able to do much more than we can ever asked for"    God bless you all!!!

Stand Tall Like The Sunflower

I find it humorous sometimes that even the most mundane occurrences can have an impact on our awareness.

My wife, daughter, and I moved into our home nine years ago and we spent a lot of time and energy in the yard to get it looking like it does today. We live on a corner, higher than street level, and the entire side of the yard is encased by a professionally built rock wall. The front of the house though is another story because instead of a wall along the sidewalk the rocks appear to be just thrown up onto the dirt as if someone were in a hurry to finish.

We did the best we could with what we had to work with and called this area our 'rock garden'. Whenever we had left over flowers or plants, Denise or I would stick them out front, just to bring some color to the area.

I still do all of my own yard work, even the dreaded weed-pulling. After putting on my knee pads I assume the position to clear the yard of weeds, even in the rock garden.

Last summer I had reached the end of the rock garden and found a tiny little plant that I could not immediately identify. I knew I didn't plant it and Denise claimed that she didn't either. We decided to let it continue growing until we could figure out what it was.

Weeks passed and as I made my way back to the mystery plant, it appeared to be a Sunflower. It was spindly looking with a tall skinny stalk and only one head on it. I decided to baby it along and weed around it. As I pulled rocks from the area to get to the weeds, I noticed something unusual. The Sunflower had not started where I saw the stalk begin. It actually had begun under a big rock and grown under and around it to reach the sun.

That's when I realized that if a tiny little Sunflower didn't let a big rock stand in its way of developing, we too have the capability of doing the same thing. Once our environment begins to see that we believe in ourselves like that little Sunflower, we can attain the same nourishment and nurturing as well.

First, we need to believe in ourselves knowing we have the capabilities in achieving our desires. Like the Sunflower, it knew it had the capability to overcome its obstacle because it trusted in the Universal Truth and had faith it would succeed.

Stand tall like the Sunflower and be proud of who and what you are and the environment will begin to support you. You will find a way to go under or around your big obstacle in order to reach your desires.

I'd covet in your prayers once again. Sometimes ago, I sent a request about an award I've been longing up to God for. Actually it's the NYSC Presidential Award. I was nominated some months back. And the latest development is that: I received a call from one of the reps yersterday, informing me of the presence of some delegates from Abuja, who had come to investigate the said project. The issue now is that he said none of my project picture was seen!!! Despite the fact that I submitted a full album of the complete project, the press release and some other "evidences to proof" . Please, do pray along that God would intervene and take all the Glory due to His Holy Name.

ENTEBBE: It's as strange as it's true. A man of God of Ghanaian extraction was arrested and interrogated at Entebbe Airport after he attempted to clear a machine which, police say; he has been using to deliver electric current on unsuspecting worshippers during church service.


"Pastor' Obiri Konjo Yeboah on July 5 failed to convince Aviation Police officers why he needed this machine to do God's work. He is now facing serious charges including fraud and false pretence," Police Spokesman Asan Kasingye told Sunday Monitor.
Police said the machine could be worn like a corset on the body. It also can generate up to 12 volts.
"When (he) touches his flock, they fall down (thinking) he is using super natural powers," Asan Kasingye said. The machine is placed on any part of the body and gives a pleasant electric shock to whoever touches you.
The waterproof electric machine is activated within 10 seconds and can emit sparks of static electricity between the user's fingers while in darkness. The American company manufactures the machine known for freaking people's minds.
Kasingye said the machine using the body as a conductor of electricity, transfers the current to the person in contact but the one using the device remains unaffected. Other "Born Again" pastors including the head of the National Council of Born Again Churches (NCBC), a body that regulate Pentecostal churches, are calling for prosecution of Yeboah.
"Police should interrogate him properly, know where he stays and the people he works with so that we get a clear picture of it all," said Pastor Alex Mitala who heads NCBC. Yeboah is a pastor in We Are One Ministry Church on Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road , Makerere. His father, other pastors say, is Obiri Yeboah, the controversial pioneer of miracle healing in Uganda . His followers include several local pastors who include John Kakande.
Pastor Solomon Male said: "It's a pity they have arrested Yeboah but police should not allow him to use a machine to deceive he has supernatural powers," Male said. "Yeboah's father was a witch, magician and I am not surprised that he was caught with that machine," Male added.
Yeboah has denied charges he tried to import an electric shock machine to make people believe he could pass on the Holy Spirit.
"This is a toy. It was sent for my daughters' birthday," said Yeboah. The pastor told the BBC that during his prayers, members of the congregation "act as the spirit comes in them".
There has been a massive growth in churches set up by charismatic preachers in Africa in recent years, amid fears some could be fraudsters.
The website of the company which makes the "Electric Touch" machine, among other magic tricks, says: "Charge a spoon, keys or coins and watch as it shocks a volunteer!
"They will believe you have supernatural powers!"

hi God's people, i finally do away with the burial ceremony of my grand mum that died at a young age of 105yrs few weeks ago. Thank God everything went very well. Though, while preparing for the burial, the death of my half brother was broken to me, too sad he died has an unbeliever.
Well still on that a friend, (one of Nollywood's cameramen) died in a ghastly motor accident along oba akran road, ikeja.
pls, pp pray for me. so many bad news recently around me. But, i trust that God is in total control.

yesterday mark exactly 4 month that the lord save me from a very vatal accident which is to distroy my destiny, kill me and also to turn me to a disable person! but blessed be God because He is always present in the time of trouble. after the accident i was in a state of comma for 5 hours but when i woke up i cudnt breath very well i complaint and the doctor said we should do an xray whic after that i was told that as a result of collition i have: fracture bone in my left chest and also some as damage and he said if care is not taking it will return to ulcer. and he said i will be admitted for nothing less than six month.
blessed be the Lord, i got a book written by bishop oyedepo, title 'THE HEALING BALM' I TELL You I ONLY SPENT 6DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL and ever since then the bone locate the bone the flesh also locate the flesh and i have been bouncing round enjoying God without pain. THANK You JESUS.

last wek friday i went to hospital to donate a pant of BLOOD for somebody and on my way back home i then remember and i said God u are too good!
so i have set the whole of this week to praise my God, please kindly join me to praise God. god bless u.

In the past two days, I ve learnt some things from OPEN HEAVEN- devotional book written by PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE- that has strengthen my faith greatly. Hope it does what it has done to my family.

The trial of JOB has shown that before God approved Satan’s request, he clearly defined the boundaries. Every trial or temptation that comes your way follows the process. God determines the go and no go areas. This way you can be assured that no temptation can stretch you beyond your ability. This is another way of saying that whatever trial or temptations you meet in life, no matter how tough and rough, it is within your capacity and ability.

Secondly, When Jesus said, let your nay be nay and your yea be yea he means that we all should be spotless. Remember, a spot could be white lie, exaggeration, flattery, false claim. Is there any one who knowingly or unknowingly still has the traces of any of these? It’s time to make amend. Heaven is spotless, as well as all who wants to be there!!!!

Yesterday, at the church, it was thanksgiving service, i almost didnot attend the service thankGod for my wife. i learnt in the playlet that the women presented that we all need to praise GOD the more than bother HIM with complains.

Guys, lets learn to praise GOD big time. We ve denied our selves some good things from GOD. most times we complain about unanswered prayers when we ve not appreciate him enough for the ones HE has done.

Pls, pause,  NOW,  AND , say, a word of thanks, NOW, NOW,  HE is waiting to inhabit ur praise!!

The photographer for a national magazine was assigned to get photos of a great forest fire. Smoke at the scene was too thick to get any good shots, so he frantically called his home office to hire a plane. "It will be waiting for you at the airport!" he was assured by his editor.
As soon as he got to the small, rural airport, sure enough, a plane was warming up near the runway. He jumped in with his equipment and yelled, "Let's go! Let's go!" The pilot swung the plane into the wind and soon they were in the air. "Fly over the north side of the fire," said the photographer, "and make three or four low level passes." "Why?" asked the pilot. "Because I'm going to take pictures! I'm a photographer, and photographers take pictures!" said the photographer with great exasperation. After a long pause the pilot said, "You mean you're not the instructor?"

From what happened below it obviously does them no harm.

Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to
the call. The house was very dark so the paramedic asked
Emma, a 4-yr old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her
mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.
Very diligently, Emma did as she was asked.
Mommy pushed and pushed and after a little while, Harmon
was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and
spanked him on his bottom. Harmon began to cry.
The paramedic then thanked Emma for her help and asked
the wide-eyed 4-yr old what she thought about what she
had just witnessed.
Emma quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there
in the first place, smack his ass again!"

By that same power, deliver dasilver from this bondage in the name of your son,JESUS. I agree with my fellow Xian brethren on this site for dasilver deliverance in JESUS name. Dasilver, it is well with you.Hence forth, you will be useful for God's kingdom.His word says, "if the son shall therefore set you free, you shall be free indeed!

Now, you will need to read your bible more often than before, you will need to go to a bible believing church,you will have to have new friends too. Separate yourself from all the friends that makes you go back to your past life,no matter how influential they are to you. More of the deliverance is left to you.

While crossing the street one day a Member of Parliament is tragically hit by
a truck and dies. His
soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is
a problem. We have never had a high official around these parts, you see, so
we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the man.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have
you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to
spend eternity."

"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the Member of
Parliament.

"I'm sorry, but we have our rules." And with that, St.Peter escorts him to
the elevator and he goes down,
down, down to hell.

The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In
the distance is a clubhouse and
standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had
worked with him.

Everyone is shaking his hand, and reminiscing about the good times they had
while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and
champagne. Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who
has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time
that before he realizes it, it is time to go.


Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises to
heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

"Now it's time to visit heaven."

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving
from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time
and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose
your eternity."

The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers:
"Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful,
but I think I would be better off in hell with all of my friends."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to
hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land
covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags,
picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from
above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

"I don't understand," stammers the senator. "Yesterday I was here and
there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank
champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full
of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?"

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning,
Today you voted".
