Why won't you be misdirecting your shots and dissipating precious energy on a wrong target, when your virile men have given their youth to Ogogoro. You better come out clean with your grievances for the Igbos. Aside that, you just wrote trash [a smouldering pile at that]. P.S.: the Igbos are not your problem. 1 Like |

meccuno:. They may be. Because, I remember, as far back as 2014 KAROTA [Kano state equivalent of LASMA] had bikes from INNOSON. They looked heavy duty kind of. The mobile CCTVs appear to be of genius birth. Flexibility in deployment. Very good thinking-- I haven't seen it elsewhere in Nigeria. 8 Likes |

Car Talk / Re: Innoson Replies Critics, Says "Rome Was Not Built In A Day" (photos) by FemiMaduka(m): 8:22am On Oct 10, 2019 |
The problem with many Nigerians is just sheer ignorance [tinctured with some insecureness-induced 'pull him level']. When the nation of India was using its Fiat-licensed-India-built Padmini in all levels of its social life, they 'rocked' it with pride till the 2014s. Today, the same India builds aeroplanes and other complex machinery. Infact, India owns the company that churns out the prestigious Land Rover/Range Rover series of vehicles. The same illumination that kept the Indian people sticking to their Bandhgala jackets and Dastar turbans in favour of any thing British or American-- as Nigerians have even gone to the extent of 'informalizing' [just way short of demonising] our native wears --even though the British spent more time in India. Majority of the folks that have been talking down on INNOSON would have had no qualms if the winner had been gifted with a Mercedes or even a Hyundai [however inflated the price is]; a classic case of self-hate. This sick mentality will take us no where! It is the reason why we have not made any headway, but we have stupidly stuck to it. P.S.: Citizens of a third world country [that can not even make its match-box] with a first world taste . The joke is on us. At this pace, and in this direction, we would still be drifting in the 22nd century. 47 Likes 7 Shares

Politics / Re: Ajaokuta: Steel Workers Welcome Plan To Return Coy To Original Builder by FemiMaduka(m): 8:57am On Oct 04, 2019 |
The firm that built the Ajaokuta complex, Tiajpromexport [TPE], is long dead. Nigeria's biggest industrial complex, never even worked. Let us be honest, the Buhari that couldn't resuscitate Nigerian Airways CANNOT as much as put a paint on Ajaokuta. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Politics / Re: Buratai: Spiritual Efforts Needed To Defeat Boko Haram by FemiMaduka(m): 8:24pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
We've been spiritual enough. It is time to ACT! It is true that guns usually do not defeat an ideology, but it has to set the backdrop. Three factors will eradicate the Boko haram ideaology [aside the military aspect]: - Education [utilitarian] - Industrialization - Social reform Of these three, education is the most important, as it will serve as the base and help sustain the whole system. Sadly, education hasn't been paid attention. P.S.: A governor just put a school on lockdown for some flimsy reasons. 1 Like |

Crime / Re: Army Arrests Samuel Chukwudon, Boko Haram Logistics Supplier by FemiMaduka(m): 10:05am On Sep 30, 2019 |
This is a very confused military. So a man that has, reportedly, been in the tire business for 29 years suddenly became a Boko-haram logistician. When are they going to arrest Toyota Hilux dealers and petrol dealers because these two are Boko-haram mainstay. Boko-haram use our telephony, they use our road network, they even play on the fact of our sovereignty to evade attacks from neighbouring Chad, Niger and Cameroon. You don't interrupt BHT communications by taking down our telecommunications installations in the North-east. It does not make any sense. Our military strategists are embarrassingly handicapped. THEY HAVE FAILED--agree or not! 6 Likes 1 Share |
Education / Re: Zamfara Government Shuts Down School, Suspends Staff Over ‘Desecration’ Of Quran by FemiMaduka(m): 9:31pm On Sep 28, 2019 |
Prime example of misplaced priority. For all the decades of religiosity in that state, it has not stopped being one of the least viable states in the country--low of lows. The reason is simple, religiosity becomes useless--even a snare--without 'work'. Core animist [and even non-theistic] nations are doing very fantastic! God is not mocked. 1 Like |

albaniy1:. Please stop misinforming people. The only relationship between Urdu and Arabic is the fact that it is written from right to left, just like Arabic, and it employs some Arabic styles. Just like Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba literature are all modelled after the Latin script [alphabet]--though the Hausas also have Ajami which is modelled after Arabic. The Pakistanis are an Indo-aryan group, they are more related to Indians and Iranians [who are also not Arabs, but Persians--biblical Nineveh, Babylon etc.]. Abeg! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: ECOWAS Appeals To Nigeria To Reopen Borders by FemiMaduka(m): 12:51pm On Sep 17, 2019 |
ECOWAS can go to hell. We can not continue to shoulder the burden of the whole sub-region. For example, we are practically paying to subsidise fuel for the whole region--our fuel find their way into black markets all over the sub-region; we can't keep being the leverage for other economies in the region; we can't continue to allow arms, terrorists, bandits and economic fugitives pour into our space... I do not support the desecration of any place of worship, be it a shrine or whatever, so long as illegality is not being perpetrated in it. However, why did these guys not raise alarm when churches were being demolished in core northern states? This reeks of distasteful double-standard. How about the Sharia imbroglio? How about the Hisbah board in many northern states that is ostensibly a police force? C'mon! |

DabELLs: You are very misguided. You miss the point. The Emir can bear all the Yoruba names in the world and speak the most pristine form of Yoruba language, it does not change the fact that he [and his ancestors] is Fulani--they do not even deny it. Ilorin, as it stands today, is a province of the Sokoto caliphate; a territory conquered and effectively administered [in the traditional sense] by the Fulanis. Both Saraki and Tunde Idiagbon are also of Fulanis heritage. Ilorin is, indeed, a Yoruba town ruled by a blood-line of Fulani aristocracy. This has never even been in doubt. It is ridiculous to have people talk what you talk. P.S.: leave the Igbos out of this, please. 10 Likes |

muyiwaadekunle1: Sir, but this same Guardiola chased after Jorginho [and almost got him, if not for Sarri's influence] and he would have played Jorginho in that regista role ahead of Kante. Though Lante would certainly hold some more advance role in ANY TEAM. |
