Olaide1295: Is this a joke? Everyone will simply sell of their naira for dollar at 500. We are unable to sustain 1500/$ but you want 500/$. Everyone will quickly speculate, I’ll sell off all my naira investments and hold dollar cos I know the peg won’t be sustainable. When its was pegged it wasn't eligible to everyone. Ideally you need a Form A, M or Q to get it at the official rate |

Zagee: "One thing is clear: the ability to make more Naira in Nigeria has never diminished for years because there are opportunities. The issue is making the Naira under a stable currency. That way, if you are importing funds into Nigeria, you can win as shares of companies accelerate.
For one thing: this shows how rigged the Nigerian economy is. For all the pains people are going through, the fortunate few like most of us here are still logging a 45% increase in the stock market, with 20% on average over the last 5 years.
............. Analyzing further, Nigeria has about 25 real companies in the stock exchange, as the top 25 combine for most of the value. But one thing is constant: do not bet against Nigeria!"

Streetinvestor2: I think agree with you on this. The worst I believe can happen is after results. The market will trade flat for some times till positive results from the economy will show face to push back the bull.If you say the market will go back to what it was during pmb era.i don't see it happening. Tinubu will definitely do far better with the economy than buhari. What do you want him to use campaign for second tenure There will be several Bull runs during this government |

olaremint: Fidelity shares trading at N8, suddenly it became N13 and now a rights issue for N10 is on offer. The value for that share is surely less than N8, after the public rush to buy, it will revert to N8 after you would have paid between N10 to N13. The bank is the only person gaining. I am happy I sold mine @ N13 plus, will buy again when it goes to N8. Don't count on it |

ProphetUtuocha: My predictions for 2024: - Oando will not delist. It will reposition and will appreciate by minimum 400% this year. - Most banks, especially FUGAZE will outperform - The Dangote stocks will underperform - Many will pay school fees in the insurance sector - Nigerian economy will start a crucial recovering process. - Foreign investors will gradually return from 1st half of the year - Nigeria's rating will go up as positive economic indicators ramp up. OandO will delist. Why will they want to share the lucrative oil and gas opportunities they will get now they are in power with everyone? |

vacanci: i cant wait for the merger as well but a bug question on on my mind is, DOES DANGOTE ACTUALLY PRODUCE RICE?
i have never seen any rice with that brand anywhere in the past 3 years. I hope that is not the cause of the delay from SEC Good question. Where is the Rice valuation coming from? |
