I felt it was cool too. I drank like an idiot. The consolation lie was that: I don’t get drunk. I just drink to sharpen my mental alertness.
Before I knew it, I was always having alcohol with me. At home, in the office, in Ny car, even in my backpack so that any time I’m away from the car, I can have a fix. But I don’t get drunk, it’s just normal, but it’s an issue every day thing.

Then came the pain on the right side of my stomach. I went to complain in the hospital and I learnt I have an enlarged liver a.k.a Alcoholic Liver a.k.a. Liver Steatosis a.k.a Liver Cirrhosis younger brother.

Nobody tell me to stop. Now I drink water when sitting out with friends. I don’t waste my money on drinks and I’m looking fresher and more like the gentleman that I am. No more hangover, headache, tiredness when I wake up, etc. and I just stopped drinking 4 weeks ago.


May your case never be like that. But be forewarned, alcohol is a slowly addictive substance. You won’t know how deep you are until it’s late sometimes.
