Funny you, I know all those you mentioned because I was born in the early 70s and have been listening to commercial rap music for a while.
Majority of nairalanders don't know DJ Kay because of their age. Those I mentioned are very popular DJs.

Thank God you said you listen to "commercial rap". It explains why you don't know Kay Slay. By the way, the post is not a popularity contest. I know a sizable number of folks on here might not know him. But the few of us who do rever him.

The day my Popsy follow me go school go burst our school prefects.... I was in SS1. Chai I no go forget. Those guys literally turned me to a punching bag the day before, just because my class had a debate with them and we thrashed them (I was the representative for my class). When I got home, my parents asked what was wrong and I explained. Next day, my dad said "let's go to your school". He waited till around 9 when everyone will be in school... I know say e don set. On getting to the school premises, he just told me to show him any of the guys that beat me, I pointed the head boy and the labour prefect. Baba take on them.... 2 seconds, everywhere burst. I just dey there dey happy. It took the intervention of the principal and hefty teachers to stop him ...
