Blakjewelry:I'm trying to understand the humanity thing. Are you by chance, referring to the cradle of civilization? Bottomline: mutation, adaptation and evolution played a role in giving us diverse genes. |
sarrki: sarrki:I have finally concluded my thoughts on your kind of person - a hypocritical bigot. That is what you are!!! |
LOL! I remember the thread - https://www.nairaland.com/3590194/photos-imo-air-acquired-okorocha Let me keep quiet before they say I am hating on Okorocha! Then again, I will be back to assess Obiano after three years to ascertain how far the cargo airport has gone. |
1. The unity of the country which has been threatened numerous times by the marauding herdsmen which zilch has been done by the president but quick to act on IPOB and Shiites. 2. Right to life which most times is threatened by those you're currently remembering; the same set of people tasked with protecting the people. 3. But we must also not permit the politicization of these tragedies. One of the reasons why for years Boko Haram thrived was because of the politicization of the insurgency. There were those who planning to benefit politically from the tragedies painted opposition as the perpetrators. Again we see some today who want to benefit politically from the killing of women and children in Benue and Adamawa, and asuch stoking the embers of ethnicity and religion. By their hate speeches they want to fix the criminal acts of a few individuals on whole ethnic groups, they want to create a religious crises if they are allowed. So you finally admit that BH thrived because it was being politicized. The same thing many reasonable Nigerians begged the then opposition party to stop but they saw it as doing Nigerians a favour and anyone who reasoned with them, attacked. 4. Our obligation is to stop them from playing dangerous politics that could threaten our unity and stability, just as we continue to enforce the peace in troubled areas. As Bishop Benjamin Kwashi said it is the poor and helpless who suffer the most from crisis, and it is they that we have sworn to protect.Same politics you played, seeing how dangerous it is now, you are trying to stop it; just like you started with the name calling of previous governments which you're also trying to stop because same is being meted out to Buhari. You all even threatened a parallel government then to the cheer of your supporters; if that don't count as dangerous politics, I do not know what 'dangerous politics' is then. 5. Even Jesus would not want anything to do with you politicians who lie using his name because you do not practice what you quoted him as saying and doing. Protect the poor in Benue, Taraba, Plateau, Kaduna etc from their killers, then, we can take you serious. |
While I applaud him for his comments on DSS, I hope he could say the same for their Oga kpatakpata; his running mate in 2011 election ie PMB himself? |

SirMichael1:You're missing out on awesome animes. |
9jakohai:Try Noblesse! olugbokedaniel:I don't think seven deadly sins has ended. |
verydark:I'm interested in knowing their counterpart funding to this project. If nil, then STFU! Why do you guys find excuses for every blunder committed by this administration? Look at the proposed rail project in other ECOWAS countries passing through Lome, Cotonou from Accra to Lagos and each country will contribute their quota. Why aren't we complaining about that? Yet, here you are, writing what defies logic. Who else read in the report how easy it is for many persons from Niger Republic to cross into Nigeria but down south here, you'll find it difficult? EternalTruths:Please, don't make this thread about the Yorubas. |
Hahaha!!!! This is ridiculously funny!!! The same railway line they tried leaving SEerns out of till there was a regional cry...the same line that would take long to build in the south but would be built faster in the north...the same loan we and our descendants would service at a certain interest. Give it to them, these guys are gradually empowering their region and BT extension, another country and making it viable because it seems there's going to be an ex-nation called Nigeria and they are preparing for that. Say what you may about them but their leaders seem to have the people at heart much more than their southern counterparts esp SE governors (bunch of useless riffraffs, oh, I'm from Anambra by the way). |
I frankly feel pity for them right now. This is very embarrassing! I still maintain what I think - the list must have been prepared since and was not updated when they decided to act on it. Who would not do that? Even as little as CVs, people do check them for modification talk more of someone given the mandate to lead the nation. This is sad! SalamRushdie:Unfortunately, there are many who still think that it was certain civil servants employed under PDP that deliberately sabotaged this list. In doubt, they would soon be here to defend them. obiageIi:I am shocked! |
tollywhistle:How can we get better when real life scenarios aren't presented most times? How can we grow when we are not an industrialized nation? We can only improve by partaking in issues where there's competition, say a design competition like the just concluded Hyperloop design for cities where you live or you see something nice and you try replicating it after studying extensively etc. |
omenkaLives:As much as you helped bring in this government, I really sympathise with you. I equally spent over 10 hours on a queue last Sunday trying to get 15L of PMS to power the house; so I understand how frustrating it is, especially with the touts and security men who try making money off those who want to purchase the commodity (one was even puffing weed there in the station ). I did not get at that station so I had to go to another where I paid more. The subsidy issue will also consume Buhari - there's no way it won't. |
9jakohai:You are an anime fan and you do not know what OTAKU is? I am sure you'll be lost as to what weeboo is or a yandere, tsundere, dandere and the many deres. . . ![]() |
MysteriousAnn:Of course, I know he isn't in charge but he supervises them. I mean, Naruto logic - Current generation are supposed to surpass previous generation save for incarnates and those who inherited chakra eg Byakugan no hime Djtm:LOL! Many are watching to know the history of Kawaki - the man Boruto is supposedly battling right now. nani667:Yeah! I enjoyed the Kakashi episode. |
The truth about this list thingy according to what I think is this - this is a list that has been pending and it is of recent they decided to act on it, forgetting to update it. It's what we say everytime in this country - until something is late will they act. We are always reactive! That being said, Shehu should not insult us by trying to downplay this incompetence. CC: Doctokwus. usba:Honestly, how do you look at this and call it insignificant? What is wrong with some of you? How will Nigeria look in the comity of nations? id911:Not "it's like" . . .we actually are. I mean, the way this regime interestingly caged us and silenced our mouth is a model subsequent governments should learn. I mean, it will make a good research project. ![]() |
ivandragon:LOL! i am below 30 years of age! I asked so that when I argue with Zomboids cum friends on FB and tell them under his watch, there was enough fuel scarcity, I can provide back up links. ![]() Thanks! |
ivandragon:Interesting! Anyway I can read the bolded from a credicle source? |
doctokwus:Honestly, I do not know what to say. I was having an argument with someone on FB over the way he was always excusing PMB from what other presidents have taken blame for and the next thing he said was "I hate the president and his party". I am thinking of the increase in malaria related deaths in Nigeria. Wait oh! How come many Nigerians do not know of this? This is seriously disturbing! luvinhubby:I was wondering why too. |
doctokwus:This is disturbing! |
sarrki:LOL! Happy Christmas Sarrki! |
Erm... I thought mobile phones weren't supposed to be used while in a filling station? |
sarrki:LOL! Everyone is a patriot to you. Thanks teemy. You too. |
xdos:Well, maybe he does or prolly outsources! Anyway, I was hoping maybe those interested in design would start looking this way and help designing our machines and other engineering equipment. |
ivandragon:My brother, these APC stalarts never accept that they are wrong. I am currently having a heated argument with one on Facebook here he is subtly implying that the marketers are at fault and absolving PMB of any blame. Their hypocrisy knows no bound. Utterly reprehensible. |
NgeneUkwenu:Nice way trying to use a joke to divert people's attention from the issues at hand. ![]() |
Socratez20:Of course, I am trying to become one too. I haven't seen except for freelancers. xdos:Maintenance Engineers? Yeah! We get am plenty. NSE/COREN, right on the money. Is there a way of getting involved with the designers in the NLNG Bonny ish? I am seriously interested. But really, it is sad that most times, we have to invite foreigners to help us. I asked because I have been thinking that it is time Innoson gets a designer to help him design cars from scratch. |
t12tosin:They cannot jump to the Chimera Ant arc. They'd be lost! ![]() |
LRNZH:I can see you're somewhat cutting time off Nairaland. ![]() davidif:Honestly! Just imagine if things had gone as planned right from independence, many African countries would have been stable with Nigeria seriously playing a huge role. |
Interesting! Modified: first, LRNZH, welcome! One thing I want anyone reading this article above to know is this: that Nigeria has failed to advance herself technologically despite being the "giant" of Africa; that we cannot use our supposed satellite to map the Sambisa forest - a one time game reserve which if we had maintained this game reserve, it would not have been a terrorist abode; that we have failed as a nation to secure our borders and it had to take almost seven countries to aid with some investigations happening on our soil. It is a sad one. It's an interesting submission on the Chibok saga and close to being one of the best if not the best. The part it failed to mention is the Borno governor's role in this whole debacle. 1. Jonathan didn't act because his military chiefs had him believe it was a hoax until international communities put interest (a failure on his part); 2. Buhari failed on his promise to being them back by Sept. 5th as predicted to mark his 100 days in office (playing politics with a case this large; BTW, I thought it was one of the campaign promises which he vehemently denied - I stand to be corrected); 3. The Nigerian Police is one of the main causes of this, shooting the main leader in the full watch of his followers and people, birthed the chaos being witnessed in the NE today (yeah, I know, Ali Ndume and Ali Modu Sheriff). Now, this same thing is being witnessed across Nigeria where the police shoots anyone they deem fit and the government has failed to look into it. Shows what i said above - the failure of a nation to arrest certain situation until it goes out of control. 4. The Swiss govt. played a huge role in the rescuing of the Chibok girls. 5. Nigerian government paid a huge amount of money + 5 top commanders of BH to secure their release (despite initial denial). 6. That Nigerians are hypocrites - so many captives in their abode, a school filled up with boys all burnt and yet, we are not concerned about the families of these boys; we are all concerned with the families of the Chibok girls. 7. That the rescued Chibok girls were brave and many stood their grounds despite the intimidation from the terrorists. 8. It pays to have a diary because you never know when you will strike gold with the contents therein. ![]() 9. Our media houses have failed to come up with a report this comprehensive since many are partisan. CC: 9jakohai ajepako:What was his tweet on it? |
I mean, I am talking of those who design user products and other things, analyse them and then send to the parent firms for review? Engineers who work in various fields that have to do with design. I am talking of designers in the league of people like Henrik Fisker, Franz von Holzhausen etc. or people who have passion for design using various CAD tools at their disposals. Something similar to what those on GrabCAD do. cc xfire, xdos, netotse, madcow1, deepwater, ezme |
). I did not get at that station so I had to go to another where I paid more.
