justtoodark: imagine....some of them went to china museum and filmed tanks and posted online thats its biafran tanks ready to invade the zoo....
if we take this people too serious,we could do them alot of harm without no justification....their hot air that they blow around the place is crazy......
Its not bad if they want to go now, it may be very difficult, but the idea is not bad if they do it properly
personally if they go about it well, I'll support them
ariesbull: Osakwe means God has agreed
Osadebe means God has kept
Osaloka means God has remembered
Osaemeka means God has done so much
Osebuluwa means God who carries the world
Akaolisa or Akosa means the handwork of God
Osadinma means God is good
Now thank me for teaching you Igbo
LoL he has gone cursing.....
That's their attitude
Enwero m efe gi...Igbo wanna be
These are pure Igbo names
Osakue( pronounced Osakwe) means God has agreed in Bini
ariesbull: Kue and kwe are not the same thing...show me a Benin man that even bears the Osakue you even said ....Osakwe is an Igbo name ...why are you guys not used to corrections
Is it not the pronunciation and meaning that matters?
justtoodark: what...??..they still dont get it...no tribe,no part,no referenwetin,no nothing...!!!!
anyways...they cant have even their biafra in east....when nigerian army finish beating dem dem up,they will cry uncle....
I don't think its wrong to demand for independence o, unity is actually not by force, but its the way some Igbo people are going about it is what I don't like
Osakwe can be an Igbo name but I can bet my life that osakwe is also an Edo name, a Bini name sef, I seen many, know many of them, don't deceive anybody
Let me test you, do you know that Okoro is also an urhobo name?
EternalTruths: Just because you have not being killed doesn't mean your friends believe in Nigeria.
I lost a friend's dad in the North in the hands of his very good customers.
We are first Igbos before Nigerians.
so if an Igbo man kills someone he has right to hate all Ibos
do you know that during Biafra war when Biafra soldiers took Midwest, they oppressed n tormented the non-igbos, Midwest people that unlike yorubas n hausas were still friendly to Igbos, and Igbos betrayed them
I don't know why you guys are arguing...the last time I checked it's Ika Igbo is what they are calling them
Now argue with Google
Agbor is Ominijie and what does that mean in Benin Agbor king is Obi or Dein ...what does that mean in Benin
I said osakwe is a Bini name, ask Bini people
Can google know more about you than you yourself, I said ask ika people and see what most will tell you and these are learned ikas so they are not just saying things
RedboneSmith: Okay, we know they generally do not identify as Igbo, but do not say 'never', because then you just come off sounding stupid. I knew quite a handful that identify as Igbo.
I was in Wolverhampton in the UK the other day and this Deeper Life girl handed me a leaflet and was trying to invite me to a fellowship in her church. I asked her which part of Nigeria she was from, and she said she was Igbo. I didn't ask her ethnicity o; just 'which part of Nigeria.'. Then she paused and added, "The Igbo part of Delta". Note, that at this point she didn't know my name or where in Nigeria I was from, so no one can say she claimed Igbo in order to form familiarity.
Anyway I be Delta boy too, so I wanted to know if she hailed from my side; so I asked her if she was Enuani or Ika or Ukwuani. She said Ukwuani.
" sounding stupid" so you cannot correct like somebody that has sense.
Btw, you said the girl was in UK, I said the ones in delta. In kwale itself, 95% will tell you there are not Igbo
do you live in Port Harcourt with Ijaw people? do you live in Warri with Ijaw people? do you live in bayelsa? go to those places and see their opinion of Biafra, ive nt watched the video but dont need to if its about biafra, don't show me video where the dokubo probably just said what he felt he had to say.
I do agree however all 36 states should be self dependent, a true federalism
Buts let's not forget, Ghana has been practising unitary govt and have gone on fine cause of GOOD LEADERSHIP, that's what Nigeria really needs
fykes: I am a full grown Igbo man and I can rightfully make d assertions having schooled and worked in Nigeria all my life; I don't know Ojukwu, Zik, Awo, or any saduana. I wasn't born when they lived all I have of them is history and history is past, but my future I can decide.
However, I know my friends; Abdulahi ishajobi, Sule Mohammed, Morayo Banjoko, Temisola Adewale, and I can easily say these amongst others are the finest human beings I know and their tribes hasn't stopped them from being good nor doing good. I share not in the sentiments of the present Nigeria, cos it shall not be said of me and my family, that " the fathers has eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth is set on edge ". YOUTHS RISE ABOVE HATE!!
Uve spoken well! don't mind those animals that don't ve a pinch of sense to understand what you said, a pig cannot know good food if he sees it, all he knows is shit
ariesbull: Osakwe is an Igbo name sir ...and the last time I checked Ifeanyi okowa is from Agbor the name of the king of Agbor is Obi or Dein of Agbor and they are Igbo name ...( Dee or Dein) is an Igbo title for an elder man or elder ...I haven't seen ovie of Agbor or Ivie !
Agbor, also known as Ominije, is an Igbo town in Delta state, Nigeria. The indigenes of Agbor town are of Ika descent, an Igbo-speaking group. Agbor, originally called Ominije, was founded by Omini from Aguleri. Ominije means "Omini Eze Ije" which translates "Omini the King of Travel".
You can finally argue with your keypad
Osakwe is also a Bini name, hope you know and what of the other names?
Only God knows where you people see this history from, no one was there to be 100% sure of what really happened
fykes: I am a full grown Igbo man and I can rightfully make d assertions having schooled and worked in Nigeria all my life; I don't know Ojukwu, Zik, Awo, or any saduana. I wasn't born when they lived all I have of them is history and history is past, but my future I can decide.

Well said! I also have friends Mubarak, seyi, gozie, tari, osas, ovhunda, kobani, kevwe, eneyah, ekaite. I admire them not cause of their tribe, but for their outstanding characters and abilities. a tribe does not define a person
Don't mind does talking rubbish here, for all we know they are non- igbos claiming Igbo or non-yorubas claiming Yoruba just for argument sake
viscerion: This thread is to be like a documentary of Nigeria. I didn't write about SS zone cause you've already done that(our zone sweet no be small o). So fero you tell us about your tribe, city or state of origin, or city or state you base
well in the link I showed where I live(port Harcourt) and where I lived(Warri). As for my tribe, coming soon.....
ariesbull: Now you have said it all... brotherliness !
Thank you....ibibio understand efik and efik understand ibibio...all these are same language group and culture with small difference and they know that ...just like an average Igbo man can't distinguish between isoko and urhobo or hausa man distinguishing between Ifeanyi from Agbor and Ifeanyi from Enugu
All these minority politics and mentality totally messed the minorities up...no cohesion.
the average Yoruba can't even differentiate between Urhobo and Igbo. many Igbos don't even know the difference between Urhobo, Ijaw, ishan, Itsekiri. the fact that you can't differentiate them doesn't mean they are same tribe. or are you trying to say cause of brotherliness all Niger deltans are now one tribe?
Roger3D: Good I wanted you to notice me but just know than whenever you or your kind bring up this stupid talk of Biafra I will always be on hand to remind you of the folly of your delusions
U nor ge work o, if you want to die in Nigeria, ur plate of soup, me I'm leaving, I won't remain here, holyghost fire
nowemi: if you talking about infrastructure, then it us rivers, akwa ibom, delta,Edo,cross rivers, beyelsa. if its in social economic activities it rivers, delta,Edo, akwa ibom, cross river, bayelsa.if its in state capital,pH,Benin, calabar, asaba, uyo, yenagoa,if its oil industry rivers, akwa ibom, delta, bayelsa,Edo,cross river. non oil industry Edo, delta, rivers, cross river akwa ibom, bayelsa. all this is my own opinion
Think akwa ibom is above rivers in oil industry, and am not sure asaba is finer than uyo.
The way people are talking of calabar, is it that bad?
ariesbull: Language is the only primary driver of culture the efiks and ibibios are referred as Akwa Cross people and they are in one association in Lagos
All these minorities clannish mentality is what keeps them undeveloped and exploited by others
Isn't it a shame
are you saying the Ibibio and efik people in calabar that see themselves as diff tribes don't know what they are doing? The reason they may be one in Lagos is based on brotherliness in a foreign land, just like in kano all Niger deltans attend one meeting doesn't mean they are same tribe
The Biafra that people want to kill themselves for is it 5 southeast state that will be landlocked, or they include southsouth cuz of crude oil. What's them think SS minorities will follow them
