The pastor is nothing in the eyes of God and the pastor has no money of his own.. He lives by the members charity.. If the members buy his book, it's purely out of sentiments... That he sells books.. Which of his book is a bestseller?

If someone did something that is not basically his/her responsibility, you have to appreciate him/her. He's the G.O of C.E, whether members contributed or not, he's incharge of the church and their funds, so the commendation goes to him. He can decide never to undertake such project, and no one will hold him accountable.

I have never said borrowing is a bad idea, but, the supposed projects to be funded only exists on the pages of newspaper after the weekly FEC meeting; ghost projects.
