You should be free by now just a reminder. Diplomacy2020: …, real estate wealth was not created by paying off your mortgage rather it comes from the increase in value of the property. As the value of your property increases, the size of your loan decreases. That is why location is the utmost priority in real estate deals. Don't just buy a house cos of its proximity to your workplace or school. There are various websites that project property values(both sales and lettings) within your localities. I used one of them when I was buying. I will look for it when I'm free. |

Any knowledgeable persons here? A few of my colleagues have mooted this same idea Goodenoch: Does anyone have experience setting up/running real estate investment partnerships among friends? I recall madam Ticha mentioning a partnership between her family and other. Has anyone else done anything similar, especially for a larger group (like 5 or 6 persons who are close friends with lots of history but who'll also be putting contracts in place) looking to purchase multiple BTL properties?
My initial research is that it's best to do this as part of a LTD. Just wondering if anyone has any other insights as to what might make this work well, or if it's a good idea in the first place. |

lightnlife: Not a bad deal.
Got the same figure last week on a 10% but didn't lock down as the offer hadn't been accepted. Checked with another broker this week and the best rate was 4.8%.
Hoping things would have improved when I'm eventually ready. Do these rate providers take into consideration ones status in the UK (i.e visa or ILR holders) to make these offers? |

To Elders in the house
At what percentage does additional deposit fund make little or no impact in the overall monthly payment. For instance anything above 20% does not yield a lot of changes in the monthly payment.
That leads to the question of what is the best percentage of downpayment |

Hi peps,
I applied for a dependant visa for my child. UKVI is asking for Evidence for Financial Support. They asked for 3 months bank statement of parents and another bank statement for the child showing receipt of support. Now, Dependant Child is just 3 years Old. I applied within the UK. Any suggestions as to what could be provided?
NB: Child spent sometime with Grandparents in Nigeria so not qualified for 12 months waiver. |

Christy, If you have indicated that you and your dependants are using the same finance evidence in your application, then your upload is sufficient. As regards change of name affidavit, you don't need to upload that since you have uploaded your marriage certificate. However, if you feel more comfortable doing that, they can help you in TLS. I am assuming that, the change of name is due to marriage here. Cheers Christybibi: Good morning everyone
Pls I need your advice
Pls as an applicant, I chose self service and uploaded a marriage certificate before submitting. Should I take change of name affidavit to TLS centre for upload, is it necessary
Also I as the main applicant uploaded Bank statements, does my husband who is my dependent need to submit the same bank statements I already uploaded since we are traveling together.
Pls today is my biometric appointment at TLS Ikeja |

No. You accept an offer to study with them. They confirm your place. You can accept it immediately. If you reject, they give your slot to someone else. The deadline for payment for January will be communicated. It is usually in the first week of December. However, with the high volume of applications this year. The earlier you pay the better cos the deadline may be sometime in November from the trend of things. bujebudanu1: Hi teeside faithfuls
I received a conditional offer with 14 days to accept the offer and provide deposit and other documents to get an unconditional offer..
So my question is , is the 14days my deadline to pay deposit or to accept the offer? |

We're you fined by SA? If yes, did you pay the fine. Was that the only time you ever overstayed? Anyway, you should prepare for Interview. You will still get the Visa, hopefully. Kbalinger: Hello good people of nairaland. I need advice on my delayed Tier4 visa. I applied to study MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the University of Hull and my class starts September 20, 2022(next week monday). I submitted my visa application on the 1st of August and completed biometrics on the 3rd of August (paid for priority service)but up till moment(30 working days), no decision has been made on my application. My school latest/alternative start date is October 15, 2021 but I need to observe the 10 days COVID 19 isolation so I should be in UK latest by October 4, so time is of the essence. I have sent paid mails twice and made escalations but the same reply I get is that my application is under processing. Earlier this year I visited south Africa and overstayed for some few days due to circumstances beyond my control and this got me a 1 year ban from south Africa which I stated in my UK visa application. A week after applying, I got a non straight forward mail so I suspect it could be because of the ban. What can I do in this situation? Is it possible they grant visa after school resumes? What can such a visa be used for since I can no longer join class? Should I withdraw my application? I am deeply worried. Please help a sister |

Good airline. Used it before, I am not sure there will be a direct flight from Lome to London. You need to confirm that. If there is a stop over make sure it's not Addis or anywhere in Ethiopia. They have a codeshare or some sort of agreement with ET. Please ask questions before you book with them. They do fly direct to some destinations though. I still used them earlier this year. Eldersege: Pls who has used Asky Airline? It's private airline in Togo.
Togo is under UK amber list.
1) Can I use Asky Airline?
My alternative is KLM but the price is about N150 different. I want to avoid Qarter since price is similar to KLM.
2) Do I need transit Visa for KLM, do I intend to Kay over with the airport.
Your advice will be appreciated. |

She is looking for the easier route. I guess. Let her do OSPAP. It's a scarce skill. Unless she is not motivated for that career again. No point forcing her. Danieldara011: Got a question for people already In uk preferably in the medical line .
Which is best option for my wife She’s a licensed pharmacist over here in Nigeria She and my daughter will be accompanying me to Uk by January next year am going for Masters in cyber security .
And we seem to be at loggerheads over the way forward for her our plan is that by September next year she should do either
Option A) OSPAP ( pharmacy Licence conversion course to practice pharmacy in Uk .
Or
Option B) Msc in public health .
Tho she’s in favor of option B. But am just after whichever is most lucrative career wise |
