You see, you must take into consideration the location of your test provider for efficiency in delivery of test kits and test results.

There are different types of testing available (self swab or provider supervised which can either be on site or at home), some won't be applicable if you are isolating.

Luckily on that site you can filter to know by each region which test provider covers your area.

Make sure you check reviews online too.

Also check you council government website for more location specific info as well as local covid-19 regulations, program and information.

Transfer the money to Qatar Airways account.
GTB account. Use your Booking Code (e.g QQRSTT) as reference.

The guys on the Customer service desk can get to see the transfer on GTB instantly. While the SCB account only goes to finance, it could take a while to reconcile.

You may still want to ask them to change your offer to January. By early next month you should be able to do your visa.

No, they actually got across to the bank, bank confirmed same day (9th August)

They then didn't reply emails till end of the month.. About 31st August, asking who owns the bank statement, I replied immediately stating its for my Dad

They replied the next day saying account is now outdated, that i need a new Statement

We printed a new SoA the next day, and i attached birth certificate showing owner of account is my Dad and letter of consent

They replied again saying there's an issue with the statement and there's no time for me to correct the statement..

They have not been able to give a tangible reason why they have asked me to defer till now and I don accept my fate

I met a woman close to 70 years old on the 6th of August at TLS VI who was going to study in the UK.

She said her children were in the UK and they paid for her Super Piority Visa. Anyone who came early and was at TLS VI on that date can confirm what I just wrote. She said she has 10 years visiting visa. But she wanted to be able to do some work legally.

If I get your question correctly. You meant that the school internal administrative procedure couldn't get across to the bank to confirm the authenticity of the PoF? And that led to a CAS number not being issued?

If that is the case, the school has internal appeal mechanism. If you look at the student handbook, it may be found in other policy document or guideline.

There is always an appeal process. If you feel something was not done properly.

I suspect yours was Teesside. The appeal should have been directed to LGSComplianceUKVI@tees.ac.uk.

If you are very sure the POF is genuine, if it is not after a AR they may decide to prosecute or issue a ban for deception.

UK PhD (unless structured PhD with MPhil route where you normally take classes) usually starts at any date within the calendar year.

Most have a formal start date but quite flexible with your supervisor in the know of things.

So far the school issues you a CAS number which is possible even after the official start date. You will be able to apply...

I don't know the whole context around the questions you are asking, so it's a bit difficult to say yes or no.

Do you have your CAS already? Are you bidding time for PoF? Is this 27th of September deadline for Enrolment in the course?
The 6th of September is in a few days. If that's the date on your CAS as start date and you may not meet up with visa application, it's better you let your school's International Compliance and Admission Team know, they may decide to issue you a CAS with a late course start date, or they may ask you to go ahead with you visa application.

Everyone should just take the pre-cas interview or Mandatory Questionnaires seriously.
It will massively help during UKVI interviews. Know you could be called for interviews scheduled or not.

If you arent ready let them know you are not in a good position to respond. If you do respond and you know you have messed up, when you are asked if there is anything else you'd like to say, put out a disclaimer stating, for instance 'Even though my mind is busy at the moment I have done my best to respond to this interview' or a similar line. This may be helpful if you need to do AR, if a negative decision is made based on the interview.

Are you trying to say you can remember everything in your questionnaire if you get called suddenly for an interview. Especially one that last for almost an hour. How do you even convince a visa officer, who already flagged your application without any preparation?

What we need to do better on, is passing blame games.

Anything after the resumption date stated on your CAS, Yes! Your application must be submitted before or latest on your resumption as stated on your CAS statement.

Once it has passed ask for a deferral or some schools do issue CAS with later resumption date. If you fall into that category, your school must issue you that CAS for late resumption before your application can be positive.

If you have done your mandatory questionnaire by yourself I doubt this would have happened to you.

I think Teesside will change the approach to actually conducting interviews rather than filling forms. The way our people copy and paste without even applying their minds to it is appalling.

Get in touch with international compliance or international admissions. This same issue is costing the university their reputation as a Higher education provider with track record of compliance.

Our people need to do better.

You can't win the AR. This not an error. There is no new material for you to prove you are a genuine student. Let the uni know and follow their lead.

I was interviewed twice… first interview was not scheduled while the second one was. The questions they asked were 90% similar. And TBH guys, the first interview wasn’t good enough but I quickly prepared myself for the second interview but unfortunately they didn’t use that to assess me.

Now the issue is I am being asked to request for administrative review which is kinda new to me… I would appreciate assistance on

1. How to make a valid argument in my review
2. Or should I just forget it and focus on a new application
3. What are the implications if I don’t review the decision
4. And may I ask what is the success rate of administrative review…
5. Can I still apply at Teesside or a different school would be better for January admission

PS;- he’s already in the UK. He finished his masters February this year, so he’s not eligible for the 2years psw.

I have used it before. Flown from London to Lagos. Fastest total flight time for stopover flight. Affordable too. Don't expect too much in terms of services particularly if you have a layover. Be sure of your transport arrangement from Gatwick. I had to pay fine, cos I thought I could use a card accepted in London to pay for my train ride. I didn't know Gatwick was in another borough. I dropped 40 Quid. Still painful.

They mailed my sponsor for scholarship 1st of sept and the mailed was replied 2nd of sept, they are yet to make decision on my visa…. My school resumes 5th of sept, I don’t understand can someone enlighten me won’t this affect my school resumption and yet to recieve my visa. I'd advice you to take time to do this research yourself. It will help you should you be called for interview.

If you've done your research, then you can come to say for example, hey guys, can you confirm A, B, C and D? It is a better approach.

Speak to your school. They have to issue you a CAS with a late start date, from the look of things. Otherwise, defer till January.

I wasn't responding to you. It was a general post. It's mere coincidental that we were both were writing about Qatar airways.

That said, you are transferring through the Hamad International Airport. It's airside transit not landside. You are not living the airport. So Nigeria being on the red list for Qatar does not apply to you unless you want to see what the city looks like.

You can only take covid tests, earliest 72 hours before departure. I have no idea where you can do PCR Test and get the result same day.
