Kelvinjtsar: Hello house. I greet you all in the Name of the Lord. I have been a silent reader for a while now.
I received a call from him mid may this year and he told me that I have been issued an ITA and I have to apply within 90 days or else the ITA will expire, I then asked for a copy of the ITA he became aggressive and said he doesnt work that way that i should trust him. i insisted, we argued for a while but to no avail. Well, I decided to give him the benefit of doubt, so I went ahead with him even without seeing the ITA . He told me to go do my medicals and get police report, which I did. He asked for a lot documents( POF, work letter, birth certificate and so on) I sent photocopies of all that and then he sent forms for me to fill. All the documents were filled and sent back to him. It was then he asked for part of the money we agreed on and I sent the money to him.
Pls people, I need help. I don't even know if he is lying or he is for real. Is there anyway I can confirm my case/aplication. So I don't wait for ever. Your contribution will be highly appreciated.
Feeling very sad about this... I think this agent did not do anything o. Nobody uses Photocopies for anything on this journey. Everything should be scan copies of the original documents in colour. As someone suggested call CIC and explain yourself and start preparing all your documents, because you will likely start afresh yourself. Report that man to CIC. Every agent must allow you access to your profile even from the moment he claims to have put you in the pool. |

db23: It currently says "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed"... but it's been changing between this and the no documents required etc Ok just send them an email asking for visa office. You'll get a reply same day. Mine is additional documents are being reviewed, it never changed. |

db23: My timeline seems similar to yours: AOR August 17th 2017. I was actually following yours on immitracker. I've been on NA2 since September. Last time I emailed them, about 2 weeks ago, they said my application was still at CIO. Question is: How do I raise a Schedule A (what is it for?), not sure if it's worth it at this point, but I was refused UK visa a few years ago? And do you think it's worth it contacting them again now? What did you request for to get your application info? Since you didn't submit Schedule A upfront, just wait till it is requested for, if it is requested for. I had 3 US visa denials, reason why I decided to submit upfront. Contact them via email or call. I called as well as emailed. Asked specific questions: Has R10, criminality, eligibility and security been done? I thankfully didn't have NA2, I moved straight to IP2 from IP1. What does your additional documents status say now? |

geebaby10: Please what number can you call from Nigeria? Here is the number: +1 (613) 944-4000. Use the combination 1111 then follow the voice prompt. Pls do not use your cellular network credit, because you need to be ready for wait time of like 30mins before speaking to an agent. Just do a skype subscription for Canada and you call with skype. When I call, I ask for R10, criminality, eligibility, security and visa office Some agents will tell you everything. |

Lufthansa: Learned n experienced housemates. Please @ wat stage of the application does one needs to have the schedule A form filled n submitted like i read some people said it should be submitted upfront (this i dont understand) as i tot the schedule A form is to b uploaded along side other docs while one fills e-APR). Please, those in the know should help clarify.
If peradventure, it is to b submitted/sent upfront. To what address or is its submission done by uploading it?
Thank U all as I await clarifications Upfront means you don't wait until it is requested for later ie ADR. Usually those with previous visa refusals decide to fill it and submit in additional docs placeholder. However, it is up to you. I filled one upfront and submitted it. Whether I might have been asked for it later, had I not submitted upfront, I would never know. |

Ethelia: Please I have a question. Let's say someone earns around 2 million a month but has been spending it without a lot of savings. Now he decides to save up for about 3 months to make up the funds, will that raise any question regarding the average monthly balance? proving the source of the money (salary plus different businesses won't be an issue) Thanks No it won't be an issue. You may or may not include a letter of explanation. The aim is to make everything as clear as possible for any officer reviewing your case. |

dombosco: Wow this is a bit confusing! Are you saying one must maintain or keep funds in ones account for six month? What if the POF was transferred to ones Account prolly post-ITA nko? Abi I did get the gist ni? If it was transferred post ITA you need to explain the source.... is it a gift, is it from sale of property? That's why CIC wants to see the average balance for the last six months. Mine was gifted to me post ITA and I submitted a gift deed. |

jovykay: Congrat @Feygbe and @bossy.
So i saw this post and decided to share:
COPIED!!COPIED!!
Hi guys,
This is my first post on this website. Here's my timeline:
FSW-Outland AOR: 7th April, 2017 Medicals done: 24th June, 2017
I'm not sure about when IP1 and IP2 started for me, but since 6 months got over on 7th October, I wrote to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca asking them about the application status. And i got an e-mail saying PPR had already been sent on 18th July. I'm 100% sure it had gone into Spam and i had no idea, plus there was absolutely no update on the MyCIC website. So, they sent me the PPR again on the 11th.
PPR: 11th October, 2017
So, the PPR emails are sure to go into Spam. Guys, please keep checking your e-mail spam folder everyday from day one after AOR itself. And those who have crossed six months, write to CPC-CTD immediately. I totally concur. I also read about a lady who found hers in the trash folder. I checked and overchecked both spam and trash ehn.... As for contacting CIC, I totally agree. I didnt mind staying on phone for 35 mins before speaking to an agent. |

PefHouse: Good day House,
This POF is still a bit confusing can someone knowledgeable about these matters please advice me, see bullets below
- Why do they need average bank balance? how is it calculated
Note I intend to travel with my family.
Thanks An average balance accurately shows if you have successfully maintained the balance over the 6 months prior to submission of your application or if there were lump sums. Here is how mine was calculated: Assume letter is requested for on 13th of October 2017. Bank starts counting the six months prior from the day before. Balance as at May 12 Balance as at June 12 Balance as at July 12 Balance as at August 12 Balance as at September 12 Balance as at October 12 All these are added together and the sum total is divided by 6. That is the Average balance for the last 6 monthsIf the money was dumped in as a lump sum in less than 6 months it will show. You will have 3.6 million in your account and average balance will be like 800,000 . If the amount has been there for the last six months, the difference in closing balance and average balance won't be a lot. |

Did you have to proof the relationship btw your uncle by any means? and is your uncle from your mum or Dad side? I didn't show any proof. I thought about it, but opted not to do so at the last minute. He is my maternal uncle but I mentioned it in LOE that my mothers maiden name is the same as his surname. |

What rate did you use that amounted to the 12300CAD as at AOR? Thank you. I used Oanda as the currency converter of choice. So it was about 285 CAD to 1 Naira at time of submission. I put in extra 70,000 in case of fluctuations, thought it is locked at AOR. |
