I did not go to UNILORIN. I was given a staff's contact number and he helped with everything. UNILORIN sent the official transcripts, I told them all WES wanted, how the seal was to be over the envelope seal and my reference no etc.

I believe I sent a scanned copy of my certificate the man and they sent it with the transcript.

I paid for processing first then courier later and gave them the address to send it to.

Reading through posts and I'm feeling like I should have done that before submitting...

1. I did not upload ECA as there was no specific slot for that (someone stated it should be uploaded with credentials and it makes sense o, just wish I saw this earlier)

What should I do now? Should I send the ECA as additional document Help!!!

2. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

I have come again o. So I have decided to take the bull by the horn and enter this Canada thing.
I plan to write my ielts in September, I already have my wes sorted. My brother is giving me a chunk of the POF when i'm ready to dive into the pool. He has his own registered business.
My questions:

1. How long does it normally take the ielts to come out after the exam day, and the test report?

2. Whats the best approach for the POF from my brother, do i get the money now and just leave it in my account for 6 months, or do i wait till I'm ready to dive in the pool to receive it and get a letter of explanation or gift deed (whats the difference sef? Do they go hand in hand?), or get the money now and buy Tbillz, roll over for 3mnths whenever due? I also have my own money scattered in different accounts. I really want to know how to arrange my accounts/funds since i won't be getting into the pool for another 3 months or so, so i reckon i have some time.

3. I have an uncle in Canada, my mom's younger brother, he counts as a relative right? On the CRS calculator, i only saw siblings. Can he boost my points? Will i need any documents from him and if yes,at what point will that be?

1. I am not very sure. I wrote mine elsewhere. I will say two weeks thereabout.

2. If the money is ready, you can keep it in your acct now. You will not need a gift deed if it has been in your account longer than 6 months before e-APR.

3. You can get points from him in the eligibility ie 67/100, but not CRS points.

That's exactly what he's saying. 8777 is Infact the key to getting high CRS score. Anything lesser will result to a low score. U can use the crs calculator to do the permutation and combination.

No it will not. Google 'IELTS to CLB scale' and verify.

You can also search for gift deed on the forum. You will get a lot of information as well. I don't know the exact pages unfortunately.

I hear people say the target for IELTS should be 8777 for LSRW. Must the listening be 8? what if the result is 7787 or 7778 for LSRW? would it not give the same score?

A result of 8777 puts you on CLB 9 which gives you full points in skill transferability. It can add as much as 50 points to your CRS.

Hi.Is your sibling the principal applicant? If yes, you do not need to show your proof of funds. Transfer the money into your siblings account and keep the proof of transfer. You can either transfer it in naira into her naira account or USD into a dom account. Prepare the gift deed on A4 and notarize it. You can also do an affidavit for her. Then she uploads the gift deed, the affidavit, the proof of transfer and the bank letter.

How long can i have my PoF in my account before successfully submitting the statement post ITA wirhout including LOE?

This is a multifaceted question.

You can have the funds transferred to the account a day before submitting, you have to show where the bulk sum is coming from, alternatively you can decide not to show the source of the funds, at your own risk.

If you had the bulk of it in your account already for about 4 months before ITA, you can wait for 2 months post ITA and then submit without any LOE.

There is no set rule. Do you have anything against LOE?

Just remembered now that i was examined by the same lady that examined me for my speaking test during my May exams. Before i went in, i saw her taking a ergo break to stretch.I was sitted next to her office/examining room.She asked me if i was her candidate,i said no.Thinking you can’t be examined twice by the same person. It was the British Council official that corrected me that she's my examiner. I told the official that she examined me the last time,she just grinned,that's all.
In my mind i was like same Mrs Akpan. I just said to myself that its just a coincidence. I got 7 in speaking then. I don't think that should be the cause, just exploring.
I will just take a sip of soda drink, keep my head high and expect the best.I will write a good reply to the e-mail.Trying to get all advise i can get on here.

P.S: I have a very good handwriting,close to a computer.Not exaggerating. Can the marker be thinking how can someone have such legible handwriting. just thinking out loud.Many things running through my mind.

This cracked me up. Don't worry, my handwriting is like a computer not just close to it. I have awards for it . And I got 8.5 in writing so no worries about that.

The exchange rate (Official) has not changed.
What you have is a situation where the online FX quotes are using the parallel market rates which is kinda realistic considering there's no place where you would be able to get these currencies at any other rate except the parallel rates

So please what is the official rate as of today?

I was in your shoes when I first took ielts in 2015. I had all types of what if questions running through my head, but alas! I got the result released 2weeks after and I had 8.5,8.5,7,6.5.
Of course, I didn't use that result as I had to rewrite a second ielts in May 2017 where I had R-9,L-9, S-8, W-7.5.
So my candid advise is: relax. Ielts does that as a routine for exceptional good results. I am certain you did well.

I suspect PM's results were exceptionally good too.

Is it balance of each of the last six months summed up and divided by 6? So the letter shows just the final amount (after the division).

Or balance of each of the last six months must be shown on the letter?

I did not realize it is a medical degree. WES accepts statement of result. I am a Doctor but I didn't get ECA for my medical degree just did it for my Bachelor degree.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who has used statement of result with MCC.

Seniors pls help.

1. You can use your statement of Result.

2. Try to redo the IELTS exam and aim for min LWSR 8777. How many years of work experience do you have? What is your highest educational qualification and your age? All these together determine how high your CRS points will be.

3. Not sure I understand you clearly here, but most people here are doing it themselves. Some have been burned by agents, a few might have been successful. Best advice, do it yourself.
