its been a whole year of togetherness, love. God has been indeed faithful to us. Never knew marriage is this beautiful and sweet until after Nov 8 2014. Nairalanders rejoice with my family. my wife has been so so supportive, loving, a world class wife and mum. our baby is 2 months plus and also this month is my birthday. Single guys out there, if you are contemplating/procrastinating on getting married, please go for it, especially if its your bone and flesh. my wife and i were course mates way back in school.

The Nigeria coach has opened up on the incident that led to the goalkeeper’s untimely retirement from the national team on Thursday before their friendly defeat to Congo

Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has said Vincent Enyeama’s retirement from the national team is very sad, as he finally opened up on the incidents that have shaken the Super Eagles since Tuesday.

Enyeama, the country’s most capped player, announced his retirement via Instagram on Thursday after alleging insults to his mother as well as being thrown out of the national camp by hotel security in Verviers, Belgium.

However, coach Oliseh has debunked the claims, stating that he was surprised by the goalkeeper’s allegations on social media, something that has turned many fans against him as the team lost 2-0 to Congo DR in a friendly on Thursday night.

In an interview on Brila FM, Oliseh stated that the goalkeeper had insisted on airing his views during dinner after Tuesday’s training, despite the coach’s instruction to stand down and allow his observations be discussed at another time.

The goalkeeper was unhappy with the fact that he was overlooked as captain of the side in favour of Ahmed Musa during a routine meet and greet with the Nigerian ambassador to Belgium after their work out.


The coach said he told Enyeama to either remain quiet or excuse himself from dinner to enable him address the other players. Oliseh stated that a few of the senior players attempted to calm the goalkeeper before leading him away from the room.

He said he didn’t call security to take him out and was surprised to find out that Enyeama claimed on Instagram that he was thrown out by security and that his mother had been insulted.

“How can I insult your mother? Never did the issue of Vincent Enyeama’s mother come up, ” said Oliseh, while stating that Musa and John Obi Mikel came to his room to apologize on behalf of the goalkeeper and he had forgiven the Lille player.

The coach said that Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick mediated in the crisis and asked Enyeama to apologise to the coach but he didn’t.

Enyeama decided to leave camp on Thursday following the invitation of young goalkeeper Dele Alampasu as back up for the two goalkeepers in case of any injuries. Oliseh said there was joke about preparing goalkeeper coach Alloy Agu as back up in case the need arose.

Enyeama then announced his retirement from the team after 13 years in a very emotional post on Instagram, stating that “it’s been the most trying period of my life”.

“It’s very sad,” Oliseh said about the goalkeeper’s retirement while hoping that the team gets back on its feet soon enough for Sunday’s friendly against Cameroon.

Despite the 2-0 defeat to Congo, Oliseh took positives from the performances of Mikel and debutant Alex Iwobi, while stating that the reason for the friendly matches is so that the team can have better understanding ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

As Nigeria celebrate her 55 Independence anniversary on Thursday, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has urged the Federal Government to immediately return the Arabic Ajami script removed from the nation’s naira notes by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Director of MURIC Prof. Isiaq Akintola made the call on Wednesday in his independence anniversary message to felicitate with the government and Nigerians.

"We call for the reinstatement of the Arabic Anjami which was removed from the naira by the last administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan after subterranean pressure from some unpatriotic religious leaders. Nigerian Muslims regard the removal as an act of hostility taken to spite Muslims. We consider it as a step taken to satisfy a section of Christians who had been secretly agitating for the removal of Arabic graphics from some official emblems used in Nigeria.

“We see the removal of Arabic from the naira as absolutely unnecessary and an action taken by Jonathan to spite Nigerian Muslims. We hereby state without any fear of contradiction that the use of Arabic as part of the graphics on our emblems does not in any way portray the imposition of Islam or its landmarks on Nigerians. This is so because Arabic stands parri pasu with English graphics wherever the former is used. “English graphics represent Westo-Christian civilisation while Arabic graphics symbolise Islamic culture. Those who insist that Arabic must be removed from our emblems nurse an agenda of domination by elimination,” Akintola said.

He said that whoever insists on the removal of Arabic Anjami from the naira and from other emblems must accept the equal removal of English graphics from the same materials, adding that after all English is the language of the Bible as it is known in Nigeria and it is on the nation’s naira and all other emblems.

He added: “By the way, apart from massaging the ego of Goodluck Jonathan and satisfying the narrow interest of Muslim-haters, what has Nigeria gained from removing Arabic from the naira? We appeal to the Federal Government to redress this wrong.”

from my observation, looks you still have a place for her in your in heart, if people around you are complementing her for you, God can also use people to talk to you apart from the dream, i remember then b4 i married my wife, do you know that my parent loves her very much when b4 meeting her in person, i just showed them her pics and gave my mum her number that was all i did, but my her calls her on regular basis even when we broke up then, that also contributed to our coming back together. Likewise my friends (i remember one telling me, you cant get a good girl like this girl).

I don't know if she's God' wheel or not,I once had a revelation abt me and her, I saw my self riding on a fine bicycycle wth gears, and she was on the same bicyccle wth me and I pedalled she's a lil chubby so I expected the ride to be burdensome due to her lil weight and secondly it's a bike we rode and it doesn't run on engine,and thirdly it was on a bad and bumpy road,buh I noticed dat the ride was smooth and easy, no stress at all, buh we neva spoke to each other althrough the ride,then we got to a storey building and gave the bicycle to man to help us watch it that we were coming cos we had to rush some where,so he. watched over it for us and we left buh I don't know where we went even though we went somewhere,then we returned and got back our bicylce then rode off,neva speaking to each other still,then I woke up, I have had two other revelations again abt me and her.

but she left me twice and I didn't beg her I acvted normal,she came to my house around 12 pm and said she's no longer interested buh she didn't leave up until 7pm in the evening,I didn't touch,when she was goin home I saw her off,since then o 2011,she's been visiting me, sometimes without calling me she'll come and meet my absence and she'll now call me and wait for me till I return she still came to my workplace 3 wks ago,I jus entertained her I didn't say anything pertaining us gettn back

bro, she doesnt have to say anything, you are the man, when i saw that i didnt really have any good reasons why i left her in the first place, the second time, i made her leave me intentionally. I look around, i discovered the is the right person for me, she has known me more than any other person (right from school) even when i had nothing and i trusted her more than any other lady, i had to go back to her pleaded with her, used my parents and married her straight off.

What is the big deal with inviting Pasuma? Is it not a church? What right do they have to condemn human? Who knows maybe the Pasuma is holier than them.
