kbshow100:
Good morning my fellow naira landers, I'm a batch B14 corp member,, i served in a federal parastatal, I'm supposed to collect my certificate today and luckily for me, i have been offered an appointment with the parastatal i served, with the condition that i will start immediately (on Monday). I'm such a lucky person even thou that I'm from a very poor background, my both parents died while I was 8 years old, i started moving from one uncle to another with different maltreatment, but thank God I'm a man of myself today, God i thank you. My take home is 98K and i promise to give 50% of my first salary to my cousin brothers who are now homeless due to boko haram insurgency. God pls bless others as you blessed me. I never thought a day like this will come to pass. Patience is a virtue

I never knew Indonesia and Malaysia are now the same 10 and 10pounds. You have no shame at all. Your brother is killing people and rendering families desolate through his drug dealing and you are here placing curses on good people who are doing the right thing. I hope the curse doesn't turn around to follow you

FamilyRe: Married Men And Women: Is It A Must You Take Dinner With Your Spouses? by ffo(m): 12:26pm On Jun 26, 2015
msmon:
Spouses taking dinner together is a common act in a lot of families so much so that the wife will wait for the husband if he comes back very late in the day.

Is it a must spouses take dinner together?

Kindly share your thought.
its not a must but is good, it bound the family together esp the couple. my wife does that a lot, if she cant wait for me, she eats a little. she always makes sure she eats from mine when i come back. but its romantic and nice.
PoliticsRe: Qatari Man (@nass) Protests Spamming By Nigerians On Twitter. by ffo(m): 12:23pm On Jun 26, 2015
naptu2:
People abbreviate everything on Twitter, eg GEJ, DAM, NOI, etc.

The National Assembly has been in the news lately (because of controversy over wardrobe allowance and violence in the House of Representatives) and people have shortened the words National Assembly to "Nass".

Some Twitter overlords were discussing the National Assembly (Nass), when a Qatari man butts in.

He says, "You guys need to stop mentioning me. You are mentioning the wrong person. I looked at his username and it's @Nass.

Just like Nairaland, when a user's name is mentioned they get a notification, so imagine how many notification this fellow must have gotten. grin grin
that is the kind of silly mentions and notifications i get anybody mention my monicker and misinterpret it for something else.

PoliticsRe: Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe Tells Journalist To 'shut Up' On Live Radio by ffo(m): 11:20am On Jun 24, 2015
okenikpoto:
exactly, blame the presenter for the gaffe because they ought to have pre-informed him. There is nothing wrong in what the senator did. What if a particular number has been on him since and maybe he assumed it was still that number. The journalist was virtually wrong professionally and should even apologise to the lawmaker.
i listened to the program, he introduced himself to the senator, before he told him SHUT UP!

misssclassy:
It seems these days people are more concerned about the method of proposal rather than what they are actually about to get into.
In my opinion, all this is totally unnecessary.

If a woman loves you and wants to spend the rest of her life with you, you don't need a parade to propose. All you just need to say is " Please Will You Marry Me" simple. And she would say yes.

Same way, If deep down she doesn't love you, and she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life with you, even if you hire the worlds greatest performers to be present as you propose, she will still say No.
i cant remember officially proposing to my wife. Just told her i love her and would love to marry her right from the first day (we were course mates then). no kneeling down, no ring. She thought i was joking

handbagss:
Met this very cute guy on my way out I was in a hurry so we exchanged numbers. He called me and we got talking. After some weeks, He asked to come and visit me...

He eventually came, we started talking, suddenly this guy started making some funny moves, I was just looking at him. He held my hands and was talking very close to my face, telling me how much he loves me and wants to be with me.

while he was busy blabbing, I was busy holding my breath... His mouth odour was epic, plus his body odour ( handsome guy o)
I almost passed out, had to give him a silly excuse just for him to go. Thank God he left.

THE END
LESSON: Pls, guys and babes, those of u that like talking very close to people like u want to kiss them, brush your teeth regularly and always go out with Minty sweets or gums, its important.

we have cheap body spray or roll on, for Christ's sake, buy them and use them!

Thanks.
FOR YOUR MIND YOU WANT TO SCORE CHEAP POINTS WITH THIS GUY. SO THAT WE CAN CLAP FOR YOU. IF THE GUY HAS BODY ODOUR, YOU DONT HAVE THE POWER TO ABUSE OR LAUGH AT HIM. ITS NOT HIS WISH. IF HIS BREATH IS COOL AND NO BODY ODOUR YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TOLD US THIS SINCE HE IS "HANDSOME".
