I'm force to comment on this issue because I'm not the type that usually comment on every post. One thing I can say is that you put your eggs in one basket, I can't believe that you are in the system where recruitment are been carried out but you however failed to secure such. It is a pity that you missed this glorious opportunity because I have seen someone going through this same path but the difference is that he was flexible and spread his net beyond people he trusted..... The HOD that promised to help him due to his relationship to the DVC (administration) failed him to the extend that he did not even knew that they have compiled the names already.... But he got the job through the secretary that typed the list due to the fact that throughout the recruitment he was telling everybody that care to listen to him that he applied and needs their help...... He makes friend with everyone of them even till date self......

Trust nobody they said' but you rely and trusted her, she did not do you any wrong because the people that she helped were her family after all you are been paid it is you that failed yourself and not her....

My advice is that for you to take the available job to remained in the system, their is what they called CONVERSION, but I advice you to make more contacts/connection when working so that when such opportunity present itself you will just grab it. No much work for federal workers so you still have more opportunity to look for other jobs elsewhere...... My humble opinion though.... Remember that your salary will be higher than your previous 20k per month...........

If someone can convert from non academic to academic, from security to administrative at least I witnessed this when I was schooling.. So it is possible... Remember this is Nigeria, if you don't take this offer, you might still be looking for job in the next 5 years but if you take it, their my be 1-2 conversion in the space of five years which you are such of if you press your bottom very well...... Honestly I now know reason why some people are single and remained till eternity. It is not a by force to marry from that tribe or village, if Igbo people are too costly for him abeg he should check Yoruba or Hausa, nothing to drag on this. At least some people that married from such village or tribe are still happy, this is family things and not need to see them as potential enemies. A friend of mine collect his list from his prospective Yoruba in law, in the list they put a car or equivalent in naira but as a serious and gentle man, he went to meet the family but surprisingly they told him that it is not by force if he can't afford it. So guys should show maturity at times... If he can marry a Yoruba lady free of charge please he shouldn't look back and save us all these unnecessary drama abeg.... Hausas are even more cheaper, I heard they will only flog him and that's all.....

I said the other time that the list was compiled before the exams, so that was what happened and the list is finally out, my sister that I helped has been called so I no longer following it again. Though I heard that another lists will be out but as for me I don't know when will that be...

But what I know is that, the recruitment have been concluded because the remaining list is already compiled, just waiting for the right moment for them to contact the remaining successful ones. Good luck...

Does anybody know whatsup on NAUTH NNEWI recruitment exam that was done before covid19 started??

The NAUTH list was compiled two day before the test, the exam was just format, everything has been complied but I'm not discouraging you o but if you don't have anybody there please just make sure you have God, that is the greatest connect that never fail..... Though no appointment letters have been distributed but immediately after the lockdown.... I have a sister that applied and have arranged every every before the exams. Good luck

In order to contribute to the ongoing argument, I'm not taking any side but just to share what I know and have seen with my corocoro eyes. Their is this prof that I know in Ibadan, he is over 90years old, very influential and very popular, he is very close to obasanjo, in short he used to boast that they created NSCDC together, he was amongst the lawyers that drafted their whatever laws binding them. He did his 90th birthday at jogor center early this year which have the presence of governor of Oyo state and past governor and others notable people. (Note. I'm telling to avoid mentioning his name but people that live in Ibadan to know who I'm referring to)

So to the main gist, when NSCDC began their recruitment, they write this man a letter requesting that if he has anybody he is recommending (according to him, that how they do each time something is up in NSCDC) so when he wrote the letter, I was the one that took it to the state command NSCDC to submit to their commander for onwards submission to the abuja.

The headline is letter of recommendation, follow by written the names of people his recommending, eg. Names- qualification, position applied and reference numbers. Then body of the letter. Eg. Introduction and relation to them. This is all I could remember for now though I saved it on my phone before but I lost that phone...I hope this help..

Reading some of people's comments is just making me laugh, well, we are Africans, we can beat whites, what we can see now, whites have seen it 50years earlier. As for NCDC, they just copy this now again from Singapore, what happened to their compiled data that is critical and peculiar to our case here? Or are they telling us that they have not compiled any data so far? I won't surprise when they copy new clinical data from Solomon island or even from Antarctica.. Lol....

Has NCDC carried out independent research like all these few African countries are doing to know how reliable, valid and accurate their test kits are by testing goats, pawpaw and other testable animals to validate their results?

Good development sha, surely, they will look for something to cover their lies but thank God that we have overcome...... NCDC should move on please....

My brother, the thing is that our own version of covid19 is friendly and respectful, our politicians know it very well.

Our version of covid19 doesn't move during the curfew, it doesn't travel interstate, it doesn't enter markets and other crowdy places in Nigeria. Now they have been begging it not to enter church/mosque hence opening of religious places.

A lot of us know that if covid19 is in Nigeria or that much and brutal in Nigeria, nobody will even be free to come to plead to people online to stay home or take safety measures, but, you know what? We just need to see how it all ended.

If I may remind you! Haven't you noticed that our philanthropists are not coming up for any money or contributions again? They all see the true nature of things, they all tired of the games. Corona business is dwindling, federal government now is handling over the remnants to the state governors

Not only the Federal Medical center in kogi but all states in Nigeria. If you don't want to be used for covid19 statistics or die a miserable death in Nigeria now, you better avoid going to any government hospitals at the moment.

Both federal and state governments are looking for covid19 figures all over, in short they don't mind kidnapped wondering persons on the streets to tag them positive. Anybody that have remained indoor under the guise of lockdown does not know what is happening in Nigeria now.

NCDC has abandon their responsibility of preventing, containing and eradicating disease in Nigeria to the agency that distributing diseases with sole aim of making this pandemic (if at all it's exist) every states recorded high numbers even when such was no so in China where the pandemic originated. They are now plaque with all sorts of controversy, distrust, suspicion and secrecy.

Only time will tell........ Surely corona business is coming to an end and nobody is giving them undue attention these days.

I don't know why some people are pained each time their is action of easing lockdown, I don't just understand the rational behind their crying over easing of lockdown, it is not compulsory that you must go out, since you are scare to die and want to live forever please stay indoor till next year or even 2023 nobody will arrest you.

Accidents have killed more people that covid19, people have died in their sleep than covid19 and even malaria just to mentioned the few....

I remembered vividly the day the government first eased lockdown, some people prophesied doom then, some even thought that by now we would been seen dead bodies on the street then but after then what happened? I even commented on one of the thread to urge people to go out while observing safety, to God be the glory, we have not seen anybody that have died we know since then.

My people, these people (NCDC) and the likes are fear mongers, they have agenda and executing their ulterior motives, people should continued to go out to their businesses while observing measures, as for people that working for government that only want to be collecting salaries without working, they should know that corona business shall come to an end..

Nigeria lockdown when developed nations were locking down without even knowing the meaning and taken account of our peculiarity, now they are easing up so they have no option than to copy and paste here, that is what informed their decision not even number of cases recording. Is it that governors come in contact with more people than pastors? Because I know in Nigeria that some ignorant covid 19 would fist visit their pastors for prayer before going to hospital for test, so why havent they contract it? Because i know governors are more secure hence making them to be less vulnerable because of their heavy security presence so why haven't we have covid 19 patients that are pastors.

In western world, we have seen cases of reverend fathers died, pastors and other religious persons so why our case different? God must have really protected these people, they are truly serving a living God....lolss... Like I always said in my previous comment's, time shall tell... I've been looking for a particular post about Oyo health care recruitments on nairaland but I'm yet to see one hence my reason to share this here because I knew they are on going recruitments on healthcare in the state.

The latest happening now is that people that applied have also devised away to volunteer for this current covid 19 services, so I have reliable informed and confirmed that those that participated will be paid stipend and converted to full time healthcare workers in the state. So we all know what the implications are....

But I don't know if their is still to volunteer but the current volunteers have been noted.... Press your bottom asap.........

I have noticed that most people that speak I'll of this man or against him are people that don't stay in the state or know little about happening in the state.

People of Ibadan are enjoying and relaxed with his style of leadership, he put his people first in every decision as the case maybe.

His management of covid19 cases in Oyo state is second to none without politicizing its cases and compromising the economic activities of his people.

He was among the few state in Nigeria to engaged in aggressive testing of covid19 and also provided highly standardised isolation centers across the state.

He did not allow the number of cases reported by NCDC be manipulated by taking charge of the covid19 taskforce himself because he knew they might used it against him since he was against total lockdown of the state..

How many people dem don test for ibadan?

well, so far I don't know but what I know is that, the Governor made it simple by making sure testing center are operational and accessible. For instance, their is one at adamasingba stadium, anybody can just walk in to get tested. And nobody have alleged that people are showing symptoms or dying as a result of covid19 on the Street.

Neither has anybody raised alarm that he/she did not attended when the need arise....
