Go to abuja with your evidence, even where you captured if you go there with evidence they have a way they send it to abuja for emergency approval... They call it emergency... I've seen people doing it with embassy appointment proof

No. Your maiden name is as valid as your marital name. I am still using my maiden name. Make sure that on your children's birth certificate, their mother's name(that's your name) is your maiden name. You are good to go.

This is a bit confusing, simply not changing of name does not affect anything, what matters most is proof or evidence of marriage.

I have been to the office twice.. Even made calls to a man I met in his office the day I went there, they are just telling me stories.. Now the man said that if I can not wait till the end of December for the passport, that Abuja office is the only place where I can go to redo it so he will refund me my money and I will go there.. So my problem now is this.. Can I really go to Abuja office and redo the passport.. If yes.. How is it done please. The man is lieing to you except if you have not captured but if you have captured, he can't refund you your money because he can't just. I'm very sure of that, even people that captured for 32pages that wanted to change to 64pages set find it difficult because of the capturing not to talk of refund..... But if you are yet to capture, I will even advice you to collect your money back if it is urgent because that ending of next year he gave you is just to sooth you, it may linger till march next year.....

Their is nothing concern change of name with visa process, if you change your name and you don't have evidence of marriage like marriage certificate is useless. Most important thing is to prove your marriage....

Which state is that? Honestly that is why I don't encourage DIY, Nigeria is not a country that is good with record, at least if you handed it over to an officer, he or she will be the one telling you what to do. The same thing I told my sister, not that we had money to waste but at Least to commit it to an officer within the premises...... Ask them what to do and follow their instruction

They give, the school should have told you if they don't give. Make sure you package the application very well and convincingly..... Good luck

Please gurus in the house does anyone has experience with the nursing adaptation program in Ireland?

I applied for a long stay visa in Ireland (the nursing adaptation route) but I was denied visa because of insufficient fund in my account. Meanwhile they only requested for my payslips and as such I submitted it with my salary account without money in it. I didn't think this was a problem because I was going to start getting paid after 1 month according to my contract/agent.

I don't want to make fresh applications given how long it took them to make a decision. I would rather appeal.

Please the questions are thus, does anyone know the minimum amount I should have as account balance before appealing?

Secondly how long should the money be in my account?

Thirdly, can I combine my statement of account with that of my husband? Mind you for now I am travelling alone without my husband.

How much do you have in the account submitted?

.....At the immigration check, the queue was so long that it took more than one hour before my turn. When I got to the immigration officer, I was expecting some kind of questions, which to my surprise, no one ask, my passport was just stamped and I passed the screening point, walking down the boarding gate and I was intercepted by the NDLEA officers.

My hand carriage was searched, but nothing found, but one of them held on to my passport, saying I should drop something for them. I just smiled and replied that the country is hard, I have nothing to give them. Then questions came in, where is my final destination, I replied UAE, and I was asked my traveling purpose, I replied for training, then my passport was given back to me, and I walked down to the boarding gate. By then, it was after 10pm.

Immediately I got to the gate, my bag was searched and we were ready to board after 30mins of waiting. We boarded on Boeing 737-800 Kenya airways aircraft, and we took off around after 11pm or to 12pm thereabout

Your Sister is about to get scammed, plain and simple.
1. The employer pays for her visa application and OSCE exam, some employers will ask that you pay it back but only after passing the OSCE and they’ll then deduct it from her salary every month
2. There is nothing called adaptation in the UK anymore. What happens is you come in as a pre registered nurse, take OSCE prep classes organised by your employer, take OSCE,you pass, get your PIN and start working as a UKRN
Anyone telling you there’s an adaptation program or a waiver for it issued by the NMC UK does not know their onions, and anyone asking your Sister to pay OSCE fee before travelling will only take the money and disappear.

Thank you for your time. When I ask her about it, she said the money is for OSCE exams in the UK hospital, that she will pay the money before traveling for the training in the UK. Please is she supposed to pay for the money or is she supposed to pay the money while in Nigeria? My second question is this, is the hospital to do the adaptation or OSCE training programme not recommended by the NMC or whichever agency she registered to......
