May be that is the best place on earth. You are alone. Naked. You look at your body without feeling shy or anything. Inspect every angle, nook and touch the places that you will normally don't want to.
Sounds like you are busy in front of the bathroom mirror, you still have time to sing in shower? grin
HealthRe: Rhesus Disease, Be Informed. by Fiona0007: 12:05pm On Nov 14, 2009

Nice post. Hope you won't mind adding some more details here though.
First of all, it is known as haemolytic disease of newborn/fetus where Rh -ve mother can develop antibodies during pregnancy or blood transfusion and can cause breaking of red cells in the fetus in subsequent pregnancies. Women at risk are Rh -ve group woman carrying Rh +ve baby (that is father of the baby is Rh+ve) if the woman does not receive immunoglobulin injections during pregnancy and after delivery to prevent from Rh sensitization.

Women should have antenatal booking early (eg before 13 weeks)
They should be tested for Rh group at booking and check for antibody if they are Rh-ve group. And follow advice from an experienced obstetrician.

Singing in the shower attracts 'jinns' spirits in Islam, although I don't practice now this was another thing that was drilled into my head.
Is it a bad thing or what?

A girl should wait till she's at least 25.

She should finish her education. Go to a university . Join the workforce. Get a steady job. Build up a reasonable savings account. Travel the world. Do cool things.
After all these she will never think about getting married anymore! grin

If your parents have strong & health hearts & can take the shock, just tell them that you are gay. That will keep them off your back for a few months until you have matured a little more in the relationship department.
I see the point. But I don't think he needs to tell a lie to his pushy parents.
Suggestion: Better find a job and try to stand on his own feet first before making any commitment.
FamilyRe: Do You Sing In Shower? by Fiona0007(op): 3:22pm On Nov 12, 2009

Those who sing in shower are, I must say, considerate people. grin

Wow, there are 23 voters in the poll!
For the first time, "singers in the shower" have gone lower than 50% !

It's not that uncommon. Some girls do IT. Even though that female friend is not romantically into him, she becomes jealous when she sees that her male friend was so into his lover. That type of girls are so disgusting. undecided
FamilyRe: Do You Sing In Shower? by Fiona0007(op): 12:04pm On Nov 09, 2009
Getting a little uncomfortable after seeing the result in the poll. 55% has voted they sing in shower; well, it can't be right, can it?
Anyway, please guys and girls throw your votes here.

RomanceRe: Dating Your Boss by Fiona0007: 12:40pm On Nov 06, 2009
Poster said her boss is not married.
But still I don't think it is a good idea dating the boss when you are working in the same department too.  if this relationship is serious and sincere, consider change your job before that out of work relationship affects your working relationship and consequences if you broke up with him.
RomanceRe: In Love With 2 Women by Fiona0007: 12:34pm On Nov 06, 2009

I'd say wait til next year and see who is left with you, poster. One of them might change their mind too or find someone else.

Still couldn't sing in shower. Will see if the mood changes on holiday.
I asked my female friends last night- 4 of them, and only 1 admitted she sings in the bathroom.
So far about 50% of voters in this NL poll were bathroom pop stars! smiley

HealthRe: Blood Transfusion - By Homosexuals by Fiona0007: 7:59pm On Nov 03, 2009
^^^It's not only man who had sex with man (not necessarily gays, and don't need to disclose sexual orientation or preference), who ever used intravenous drugs even if once, and many other things in the donor questonnaires. Potiential donors are asked to read the questionnaires and they can leave the donation centre with no need to give the reasons if they think they ever had high risk behaviour.
HealthRe: Blood Transfusion - By Homosexuals by Fiona0007: 6:26pm On Nov 02, 2009
if the blood is clear/clean and is a match for you, would you still refuse it becos the donor is apparently gay?
It is the guidelines which aim to reduce the risk of blood recipients. It's not your choice who the donor should be. Even for directed donation for your relatives, you are expected to go through donor questionnaires the same as voluntary donors.
FamilyRe: Do You Sing In Shower? by Fiona0007(op): 6:22pm On Nov 02, 2009
Yeah, I used to catch myself singing at most unexpected times. But lately I realised I do humming a tune or singing only in my head.
Don't ask me why.

In UK ( I suppose poster is referring to the information from UK media) certain donors are excluded from donor pool because of their life style. I am afraid discrimination or non-discrimination, you are not supposed to put others life at risk. "Men who ever had sex with another man" cannot donate blood.
