In the heart of Lagos, under the blazing sun and constant honking of danfos, 24-year-old Susan worked as a secretary in a bustling law firm. Raised in a strict Christian home, she held tightly to her faith, even as the city’s chaos tried to drown it out.

She soon met Stanley, a colleague who claims to be spiritual. Susan was drawn to his fire for God. Soon, he started texting her daily—sweet words and jokes that made her blush. "Maybe this is what love feels like," she thought.

But it wasn't long before things shifted. One evening, he offered to drop her at home. Halfway, he parked under a dimly lit mango tree and reached for her hand. His eyes no longer looked holy.

In today's world where love has been grossly abused and lust taken for love, it is always necessary to have conversations revolving around separating love and lust.

In the Bible, we saw a strong man, Samson, who was raised by God as a Deliverer of his people. Unfortunately, he was drawn by lust to a dangerous woman whom he thought he loved and ended up destroying his glorious destiny on the lap of an enemy whom he thought loved him (Judges chapter 13 - 16).

God is Love, and since we were created in His image and likeness, it follows that we are also creatures of love, created to love and receive love. We all have the innate desire to love (to give and show love to others), as well as to crave to receive love from others (to be shown love in return). This is a characteristic of a normal person created in God's image and likeness.

You can explore love inside of God (which is what you are destined to do) through faith in Jesus Christ. Lust, on the other hand, is of the devil - it is a counterfeit of love meant to bring you into destruction. While love is edifying, lust is bent on drawing you into sinful pleasures.

One wonders: How did Soludo earn his professorship if he lacks basic knowledge of global investment trends? The beer industry is a multi-billion-dollar sector worldwide, employing millions and generating massive tax revenues. Even Bill Gates, one of the world’s smartest investors, holds shares in Heineken. If the investment was truly worthless, why hasn’t Soludo sold the state’s shares to the person offering to buy them? His hypocrisy is glaring.



The Real Reason Behind Soludo’s Attacks: Political Sycophancy

Soludo’s obsession with attacking Peter Obi is not driven by genuine concern for Anambra State but by his ambition to curry favor with President Bola Tinubu and the APC.
