klems4real: Bros, I can see you really want to help and I love such heart. Police clearance is not required in the online application. In fact, the online route requires less documents. It is fast and efficient! Although, if you still need it for something else, 5k would be enough to get it done. All the best!

I don't think so oh! I think it is needed oh, or can you shed more light, I got on when I applied online oh, and I don't agree that online require less documents. I think he should include everything you can include so long you can resize your documents to 4mb, I applied in a hurry the first time and I got a refusal in 3 weeks and I repackaged my applications again including other documents I dint submit the first time got my TRV in 6 weeks. Better to be safe!

Yes it's very important for all applicants from certain country of which Nigeria is inclusive. For online route, you scan it in the same document with your travel document/ passport. Sorry for the delay in response, iv been busy with preparations! Took off from Abuja ytsdy, at Paris airport chales de gulles, waiting for my connecting flight by 2pm.

Please I need help! I'm based in Abuja and came in with an evening flight ystdy to collect TRV, now the letter from CIC dint state specifically where to go submit my passport, it just gave the option of vac Ikeja or Cdhc on the island. I'm heading to the island, guess I'm on track? Tanks

Ok, I was able to log in too. When did the person apply and has he been called for medics? Online route takes actually about a month and 2 weeks before you get called for TRV. I applied on the 12th of November and got called for my medics 10th dec 4weeks afta application ( but its usually 3 weeks precisely as stated on the site if you were to get a denial, I know this becos my 1st application decision was received in exactly 3 weeks). By 20th dec they had received my medics and it was stated online that I passed my medical examination. And then got called for TRV today 30th dec. #oluwa was largely involved#

In line with getting ready while we await our TRV, please what and what specifically do you advise? Any advice as to affordable flights (that one can hold for 3days' ba does 72hours but their prices are killing), where to get solid winter jackets and sweat shirts etc. help a sister out!

NB-If you find your name on this list,it means you submitted your application for winter and haven't gotten any response from DHCC(to the best of my knowledge). I would advise you all to defer your admission towards the next start date because even if you get called tomorrow for medicals you don't have time on your side. Just an advise.

kingsolve: I will still thank God all the same. Anyhow e be, Baba still too much. I was at the visa application centre today went to collect my passport. Come and see as my hands were vibrating when I sat outside to open my package and check my visa *smiles*. I checked through the pages of my passport and found no visa. I had envisioned travelling this month, to resume Jan 2 in Ontario. But it's all good. I was told the authorities are not satisfactorily convinced I will come back after my programs. That my ties in Canada and Nigeria is not convincing enough. Guy please help me with info. I gotta re apply with a better strategy. I was very week, found it hard to go back to work, like to just take off the whole day and stay on my bed. But I just had to encourage myself. God will cause it to work for my good. Aneg u can strike out my name for jan resumption on dat list. You all are amazing. We'll all achieve our desires by God's grace. Enough TRV and medicals this week for all these my people on NL I pray. Much love guys

kclexa: Congrats but abeg no time to rest. Quickly arrange for your flight ticket as almost all airlines to Canada are fully booked for January except you wan deffer again after receiving trv.

I got the shocker last week when Turkish Airline said no space for January except I want February.
And don't even think of Delta airline cos na only Business class dey available at the rate of 1.5m

So wat did you do? And what airline are you flying? Is BA an option?

Like I said earlier just get ur transcript ready to send to the individuals schools individually, but if u have enof time ( say ur planning towards sept next year) then go thru WES, WES can be ready in 3 months if you follow up from it institution and ask them to give you transcript sealed,noun dispatch wight Dhl using ur school details as sender. Also when you get ur admission ensure u apply online and allow ample time for a re-application in case of a denial. That's d edge online route gives you as it takes just 3 weeks.

Not a bad decision oh, I think it's the best sef! Applying thru Ontariocollege gives you access to apply to like 3 different school for thensamenpriceof applying to each one, I think 125dolls, I applied thru Ontario and I got admission to 3 different schools, humber college, Niagara college and Seneca. I lost the admission to humber and Seneca becos they both requested my transcript almost immediately, Niagara offers me addition first with conditions to send in my transcript before a future date, that helped me a lot, cos I was World education services for my transcript evaluation and it was taking forever to get it from the,. It took about 5months to get the evaluation from WES, before they now sent it to Niagara for me which was the only admission I had left. I enrolled with WES in march, got Niagara admission in July, transcript came thru in August. The delay from WES basically was from my school here in Nigeria, they sent it thru nlipost and it just never got to Canada. I had go go request anothe and dispatch using Dhl, got there in less than a week.

I'm particularly glad cos I'm going to Ontario told, expecting my TRV next week, praying God's favor will see me through. Congrats again. canrelocate: As a student, the TRV is usually for a short period ranging from 3 months to 1 or 2 years (in very rare occasions). What is important is that you get to a Canadian Port of entry before the expiry date and be sure to have the letter you have to present to the Border officer that should issue your Study Permit when you enter Canada. You only need the TRV to re-enter Canada, your Study permit is what you'll need to maintain a valid status in Canada as an International student.

First i need to know if you were for medicals at all?
Yes i was refused one when i applied in august (online route) got a response in 3weeks but it was a refusal. on the bases of insufficient home ties, financial status, purpose of visit and duration of visit. I currently work with a govt parastatal but dint include my payslips at the time of my first application, well with all the points stated for refusal i repackaged, got a letter of introduction from my ofc stating i was going for a course and my job was still available when i got back, i included my payslips, i got a visa lawyer/agent to write an administrative review for me where he stated candid/valid points why i was eligble to enter canada (he quoted all there immigration rules blah blah) was a 5page document sha. i did all these and applied in nov online route again and just got my calls for medicals today via email.

I advice you work on every reason for refusal stated, and if none was given ( which is very unusual) go thruout your their website again (cic.gc.ca) and ensure you proof every document requested.

When you open the form the first and last page has a verify button, after you finish filling your forms you click the verify button, please ensure you read instructions carefully.

You are to download the forms online. The main application form you have to sign it digitally by clicking the verify button, the other family information form you can print out and sign using a pen. PS: the online application process is a very simple process if you take time to read through the instructions. Emphasis on reading the instructions please.
