This South Africa team will get dropped at the Round of 16.
Either South Africa is poor, or Zimbabwe are ballers on a low. |

Dumb Zimbabwe defender conceded a penalty. There was no need to extend that arm. 😭 |

TheSuperNerd: To be honest, left to me, he wont be sacked after this Afcon no matter what. He has to be left to build on his mostly good works. He is 48 and this is his 3rd year in international football coaching despite beginning his coaching career in 2014.
Now he may make certain mistakes but his greatest attributes which I love are his ability to listen, learn from the bloopers and adapt.
Eric Sekou Chelle is here to stay and the NFF better stick to him post-Afcon. He is growing as a coach internationally and he is a tough one to beat when you look at his records with Mali and now us. I don't know man. There are reports circulating online that he's leaving after the tournament regardless. |

Egypt using their second team against Angola. I hope Nigeria follows suit. What ruined us in the last AFCON was over reliance on the same players till the dying second. |

BankyGee: I no like Uzoho, but to be fair to him, watching his last four games for Omonia, he has been good.
His reflexes are now sharper than this version of Nwabali we have on our hands now, like far sharper.
His problem before was confidence and anticipation, I don't know if he has worked on that. If he has, then he's better than current Nwabali. Even his ball distribution now is good. Judging by his last 4 games ooooo, 2 in the Conference League and 2 in the Cypriot League. He's even one of the highest rated keepers in the Conference League. I dey tell you. As of right now, Nwabali (cos of injury), Uzoho and Obasogie dey the same WhatsApp group. Anyone wey start the next match, it is what it is. The only thing wey dey vex me na say we get decent keeper like Arthur Okonkwo in Championship and people dey do like say he no even exist. |

caprikon: The team's spatial awareness and offensive transition has been the best I have seen in a long while.
It is foolhardy and somewhat shameful expecting FIFA to disqualify DRC on the premise of our interpreting their National constitution.
If the guys get an AFCON title, that would help their legacy and which has taken a battering already. Osimhen is destined to be Naija's all time goal scorer. The only disappointment could be the lack of WC appearances on his resume. Osimhen still has 2030 and 2034 to look forward to if he doesn't dip in form. |

Another bloody central defensive combo will be Ogbu and Bassey. Both have this no nonsense approach when on the pitch Maybe I'm mixing him up but I think Ogbu can be a rough tackler sometimes sha. |

3-0 or 3-1 would have been a true statement win. 3-2 feels light, like we barely escaped. This scoreline seriously flatters Tunisia. We had 80%+ possession in the first half for crying out loud! |

Bossoflife25: Tunisia got a dubious penalty, however Chelle does not know how to close a game!
You were leading 3-1 and you removed a midfielder and put two wingers. What are you doing man?
He almost cost us this game. Remove Onyeka and bring on another destroyer.
Trust those young boys. Use them. Use Nnadi! I swear! If he knew he wasn't going to have any need for Akinsanmiro or Nnadi, then what the hell did he invite them for? Kuku carry 11 players only na! Rubbish!! |

As it stands, Nigeria may become the second team guaranteed qualification to the Round of 16 after Egypt. God abeg let's see this lead to the end or even add more. We've suffered enough. |
