You can see from the picture, they are not close to the coal pot. Which means they do not need that amount of heat, if they do, you will see them very close to the coal pot. Please, quickly work on this, as I said earlier, lattern will be okay for them, just get two or three latterns will be okay.

Lattern would have been okay for them by now. I believe the heat is too much for them o. So, work on that because if the heat is too much for them it can affect their growth.

The Nigeria govt needs an holistic national orientation for all her citizens especially the young people like myself. Buhari is one of the most intelligent leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large even though his weaknesses are very obvious.

When people compare Buhari to a Dumb racist spearheading things over here, this shows people lack basic understanding of things. He called Buhari lifeless, just because he refused to sign a free trade agreement with the US. He thought Buhari lacks basic understanding of economics.

While shouting China...China...China,..... and all the tweeting and noise. Tesla moved a whooping of $250bn to Shanghai to build Tesla Gigantic Auto plant. A big step towards America becoming importer of Tesla cars just Apple phones, GM, etc.

Buhari, the so called dullard, secured deals with same China to set up a train assembly plant and a University in Nigeria. A step towards industrialized Nigeria. If not for weak institutions in Nigeria, Buhari's performance would be making global headline news.
I concur, but we need to be smarter because chinko people self can not be 100% trusted o.

One thing that can benefit us as a nation is to have individual nations, so as to attain the full potential in human and material resources. Nigeria is cast already because those one that want to dominate power at all cost are not contributing much into national purse.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Failed African Development Bank by fjjc(m): 6:16am On May 31, 2020
bilms:
Nigeria failed African Development Bank
By Abdulrazaq Hamzat

At the inception of the African Development Bank, it was agreed that at no time, will none Africans be allowed to intrude the organization so that it can focus solely on the development of Africa without foreign vested interest.

Actually, this was contained in the law establishing the bank.

As the giant of Africa and largest shareholder in the bank, Nigeria became the only country vested with veto power to safeguard the bank's mission and make tough leadership decisions.

However, in 1981, the bank's board of governors comprising of participating countries turned around, against the bank's rule to seek none Africans equity participation.

All members supported this error, except Nigeria. Actually, as the only country with veto, Nigeria was ready to use its veto to block this abberation.

But according to Nigeria's former president, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, the president of the bank threatened to resign should Nigeria veto the proposal. All participating countries also mounted pressure on Nigeria for two whole year to support the proposal.

Even some members of the cabinet in Nigeria, who were lobbied also mounted pressure on the president at home to support the proposition.

At the end, fearing that the bank may collapse should Nigeria not take the destructive, but popular route, Nigeria eventually didn't use it veto against it.

This was how the African Development Bank was killed.

I am of the opinion that, Nigeria's veto power is supposed to be used to take the most difficult action when it is absolutely important to do so.

It makes no sense to have African Development Bank that is controlled by none Africans.

Leadership is responsibility. If you cannot take decisive action and take responsibility, you have no business being in leadership.

It would have been better for Nigeria to use its veto, even if the bank would collapse. At least, it would be on record that it collapsed on principle and Nigeria took the decision it had to take, not minding the consequences.

It is even possible that the bank would have gained more strength from such action, because by that action, the imperialist would have known that there's real leadership in Africa, thereby reviewing how the continent is perceived.

But now, what is the essence of the bank when it could not even operate within its own laws, nor meet its own objectives as a result of undue interference by none Africans?

For me, if Nigeria cannot provide the kind of leadership Africa needs, there's no point pretending to do so.

Let's withdraw and focus on the country and allow those other countries deal with their own situation.

When we are better equipped to lead the process, then we can reorganize.

We have thousands of scientists in this country that can produce hundred of these herbs to cure even not prevention, I mean, cure Corona virus but people at the level of authority like to steal. Some scientists at UI on Tuesday came out with a research, which I believe by now the government should have collaborated with them and any other traditional herbal scientists. If the outbreak is far more than what we are seeing now, the federal government of Nigeria needs to be held responsible for any death.

One thing we need to understand is that, most accomplished individuals do have one of their own be it younger brother or younger sister or son or daughter in their place after they might gone or even when they are alive. Examples are many; Bush family in America and a host of other countries of the world. So no big deal, if he has the charisma.

My view on this is that, there is a need for synergy and collaboration between FG and our herbal medical practitioners in Nigeria so as to find lasting solutions to this pandemic. I so much believe that the solutions are here only that some people are out there to make billion of naira at the expense of human life.

KenOne:
With this ground standing of ASUU not providing BVN for payment of their salary it's obvious ASUU members have multiple jobs making it difficult for people without jobs to have job.

ASUU members needs to free up the space so that other unemployed Nigerians can be employed as lecturers instead of lecturing in multiple universities and drawing multiple salaries.

I had a lecturer that taught me during my post graduate days he was lecturing in my university in Port Harcourt and also lecturing in Benue state at the same time, one week in Port Harcourt two weeks in Benue.

These are the universities i know, i am pretty sure he has more universities he's lecturing.
My brother I concur with you. I once assisted one of my lecturers in marking examination scripts some years back. The examination scripts comprises schools from one public university and one state university and one private university, but what amazed most was the approach adopted in marking those scripts. Public university students dey suffer from these lecturers hand o. I reserve my comment.
