driand: The only thing that is without solution is death, you have money to buy a car for N9m and you can't afford to replace the battery for N500k? You kidding me?
Shiit. I keep forgetting that you have to be a millionaire in Nigeria to own a hybrid. My bad. Other places, not so much. Anyone can own one.
adexsimply: I think it should be the other way round. "Why God should have an encounter with everyone" The onus of proof lies with him--That is if he really exists
Gbam. Gbam. Gbam. Why don't more Nigerians think like this? The world is becoming a world where facts don't matter. This is the reason why extremism is becoming a problem we all cannot handle anymore. It is why Donald Trump won the U.S elections. It is why BH, Isis, exists. People don't care about what can be proven. It is what feels right to them that matters. Even if it doesn't make sense. That a man can walk on water and that he can turn water to wine makes sense to them. Smh. Isn't it convenient that all of a sudden all miracles somehow just stopped after everyone who can readily testify to them are dead? Only proof is a book that another human being wrote. As if people don't lie. A book filled with so much discrepancies that you will not believe. I wonder if they surgically remove their brain once they declare that they are christians or muslims?
driand: 1. Environmentally Friendly: One of the biggest advantage of hybrid car over gasoline powered car is that it runs cleaner and has better gas mileage which makes it environmentally friendly. A hybrid vehicle runs on twin powered engine (gasoline engine and electric motor) that cuts fuel consumption and conserves energy.
2. Less Dependance on Fossil Fuels: A Hybrid car is much cleaner and requires less fuel to run which means less emissions and less dependance on fossil fuels. This in turn also helps to reduce the price of gasoline in domestic market.
3 Regenerative Braking System: Each time you apply brake while driving a hybrid vehicle helps you to recharge your battery a little. An internal mechanism kicks in that captures the energy released and uses it to charge the battery which in turn eliminates the amount of time and need for stopping to recharge the battery periodically.
4. Built From Light Materials: Hybrid vehicles are made up of lighter materials which means less energy is required to run. The engine is also smaller and lighter which also saves much energy.
5. Higher Resale Value: With continuous increase in price of gasoline, more and more people are turning towards hybrid cars. The result is that these green vehicles have started commanding higher than average resale values. So, in case you are not satisfied with your vehicle, you can always sell it at a premium price to buyers looking for it.
There are many advantages to owning a hybrid car. The one you will like the best is how it helps you to control your budget as gas prices continue to get higher. The other benefit that is not seen directly is how owning and driving a hybrid car impacts the environment. It reduces the dependence on fossil fuels and lowers your carbon imprint on the environment.
Only one thing nullifies all your point. It is something they don't tell you when you buy a hybrid. Just make sure you have 6 to 10k in your account as insurance because if the battery dies you are phucked.
Youngpo413: smh, keep on the deceiving yourself , upload your Dp joor, fake ass, if all rangers are this weak, then rangers are doomed .
Looooooool. E don de loose steam . Na Dp my guy fit talk. Small time e go say make i post my degree certificate. As if everyone wey de Nairaland get Dp. Smh. On a serious note, you think we are as s.tupid as you? We take security very seriously. Mo.ron. Hey, wanna see something beautiful? Na this wan go definitely make you commit suicide when you compare am with your life. Just say the word.
Toks2008: Often times we hear the single and searching use this phrase and I tend to wonder what it means to be decent?
Decency means a different thing to different people but according to the English dictionary, the word decent is an adjective used to describe an acceptable or satisfactory standard of a person which brings to mind this simple question;"Can one ever find a partner who has a total satisfactory and acceptable persona?"
The answer is a BIG NO.
You say Tony is a dude but he is too stingy,Jude is romantic but too lousy,Dele is caring but talks too much,Stephen is focused but too possessive and you just broke up with Tade because he is too arrogant.
You say Abigail seems ok but she is dirty, you like Mary but she is too dry,Mayowa would have been your ideal lady but she lacks manners and kaffy is so calm but she can't speak good English.
No matter how hard you try, you will never find a "decent" partner that meets all your standard and there will always be a reason to leave that partner of yours because every one of us have one or two indecent character which may not be too obvious at first but will usually come crawling to the surface in due time and when such nature becomes obvious,we tend to wonder where it has been hiding in that person and we usually tag it "irreconcilable differences" then we break up with that person just to be on a wide goose chase with another presumably better partner.
The bottom line is that we should stop looking for a partner that will pass the decency test and learn to take people for who they are. You may never see all you want in one person and if you think you have then be prepared for a rude shock when you eventually discover the indecent side. Have an open mind when searching for a partner and look for the top most quality you want and be prepared to tolerate him or her, learn to celebrate the good sides and overlook the bad sides because no one is really totally decent and that includes you.
N.B:The act of physical violence against your partner transcends beyond an indecent act but a beastly one hence this write up does not encourage anyone to tolerate a partner who is violent.
Hope this makes sense.
What da phuck is wrong with Toks2008 nowadays. He seems to have received too much sense. Now i no go fit yab am as i used to. Why na toks. Why?
Braingold: Its very funny that guys like you would argue if There is a God but I see not seen you guys argue if there is a devil. you don't need to believe that there is a devil but you disbelief if Jesus is real. Jesus did all those things the bible said..if its not working for you. Oga its working for me
Same thing. All fictitious characters. I have achieved a lot in my life and all i needed was to depend on Math, probability, common sense, and the understanding of luck. The world is turning into a place filled with crazy people like you. Look at muslims. They do all theses horrible things because of some imaginary God. Christians did worse during the dark ages. Go read about the spanish inquisition and the crusade. You people need to wake up.
Braingold: Liar you guys have been admiring Christianity from your heart ..Just talk true. Don't worry I know the implications for you to say yes... so say no and yab me
There is nothing more dangerous than the logic of a religious nutcase. Even when facts are glaring and out there they would rather believe a fictitious man walked on water and giving another man their life's earnings will buy there way into everlasting life. The sooner you begin to study and understand Math, probability, statistics, luck, etc, the better for you.
tellwisdom: Op, does the guy look normal to you?? ...Give this one few days from now, he go enter street.
As far as i can see, there is nothing wrong with the guy. He might as well be tearing a James Hardley chase novel. It is just a book. Nothing more, nothing less.
urchbarbie: I sha don't know when Muslims started to wear white wedding gown. Tot it was solely a Christian tin.
Wat do I know.....let me be going.
There is no such thing as a "Christian" wedding gown. The pure white wedding gown is a circular fashion trend that Christian and Muslim fanatics have borrowed. In other words; Christians and Muslims have succumbed to the ways of the world
I guess their Sharia law is meant for the poor ones among them!
And where in the sharia did you read that all northern women who are muslim have to wear the hijab? You people just like to talk anyhow. Are you just seeing this for the first time? Even the first lady and her daughters do not wear it all the time and now after reading this post all of a sudden you remember this fact. Smh.
Youngpo413: see this idiot, uploading other persons photos, you can never be a ranger not with this kind of childish attitude you are displaying on nairaland 24/7, you are just a tout, a secondary school dropout claiming an MSU graduate, now upload your real Dp and show your face, useless coward, you think that I'm easily deceived ? Oktoberfest: Diversity is more of a prob as it is in naija nw,unless some form is restructuring is done but no,2many lazy greedy folks runnng d show,n worse as u say most of d followers/citinzery are just blind or 2 sentimental
I disagree. Just like with everything in life, there are advantages and disadvantages. In regards Diversity, the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. Diversity helps a society to maximize and accelerate its development if used properly. It is not by magic that countries who allow different people of color and race are moving ahead in leaps and bounds. Australia, the U.S, Canada, Germany. Of course not everyone would welcome it but the advantages cannot be argued with. America won the space war and the cold war because of the Germans who immigrated to the country. Einstein was born German but America gained tremendously from his immigration instead of Germany. Why do you think they do the DV lottery every year?
Youngpo413: you are kolo indeed, cos you are now talking off points, upload your Dp if you are a man enough, fake ass, I know very soon you will claim to be a CIA agent too, keep deceiving yourself, useless tout. I need to see your Dp!
Youngpo413: why are you ignoring the real deal? Upload your Dp and you are still beating about the bush, see this fake ass, church rat feeling fly on top fake video, just upload your Dp to prove me wrong, useless graduate cum ranger.
Yeah. I no why i de upload "photoshoped" Video . You too mumu i swear. Loooooooooooooool. E just de pain am oooooooo. I nor good i swear. I don kolo no be small.
Youngpo413: see this coward, why should I be pained?
Kikikikikikikikikikikikikiki. Na small small i go de inject the embarrassment for you. First you say i de one slum for Naija. I do debunk am. Now this. No worry, around march i go fire you another shocker. You go commit suicide before i am through with you. Looooooooooooooooooool. I no good i swear.
Youngpo413: and you still find it very difficult to upload your Dp, Mr fake ranger, upload it if you dare, useless coward, fake ass, I know you will soon claim to be in the CIA or an FBI agent, how pathetic, you are not smart enough, Mr fake MSU graduate, useless church rat, just upload your Dp and don't forget the video link too, useless tout. Ranger my foot, foolish coward, fake sniper.
permanentgrace: Seun lost my respect a long time ago. I came to clearly understand that Seun is nothing but an enemy of people's successes. The castigated MMM has helped so money and seun and his useless site cannot prove of one life they've touched positively. I SPIT ON THIS USELESS SITE CALLED NAIRALAND. Highest he would do is to ban the moniker, after then, what next?
Come January, we'll continue PH and GH. #IStandWithMMM
Stage 1; Denial. This is where many Nigerians are at the moment.
Stage 2; Anger. This guy is already experiencing it.
Stage 3; Bargaining. This will start on January 14.
Stage 4; Depression. This period is very dangerous. A lot of people will be prone to suicide during this period
Stage 5; Acceptance. Only the resilient will eventually accept that MMM is gone. RIP.
Youngpo413: you are so tired already, you are running out of something reasonable to say, but I won't let you be, useless coward ranger, tout claiming ranger, keep on deceiving yourself, hopeless fool.
Seriously? Tired? Just getting warmed up. Anyway? I've always wanted to know how it felt being a midget. How does it feel? Can you reach up to grab things or do you have to use a stool?
Youngpo413: you are a coward , just go and sit down, ranger my foot!
Lol. The funny thing is there is no way to prove it other than with pictures. But we all know that you are too s.tupid to know what a photoshopped image is from a real time one. Anyway, you don chop today? How you de take buy data sef? I hope say you no de borrow money load your phone oooo. You go just kill yourself for nothing.
Youngpo413: you just described yourself, a foolish coward forming tough online but afraid of uploading a Dp cos he is afraid of being killed, a church rat claiming to b a sniper and an MSU graduate yet with a chicken heart, an international fool yet forming smart, claiming to be smarter than other nairalanders, a tout, a hopeless fool, you are just a nobody, you so fake, for your info I'm still waiting for the video link and upload a Dp if you dare not hiding behind a computer with an alternate account and be making noises up and down, I will make sure that you regret the day you crossed my path, hopeless thing.
Lol. If your definition of being brave is if you have facebook then everyone on the planet is brave. This useless foool is calling a ranger a coward. Lol. You wan die.
feodan: ON MMM: ‘WE WILL RATHER NOT REMAIN AS WE WERE’
December 13, 2016 was a day they’ve all been waiting for, doomsayers, naysayers; oh how they relished the opportunity, oh how their hormonal levels were raised, it was the “I told you so” moment they had so much longed for. It was probably the best thing to happen to some of them in months, miserable fellows, in their warped mind-set and tinted realities, they would rather have everybody remained as they were. These set of people, because of their stubborn resolve to not open their mind to learning/ re-learning and because of their too cautious approach ride on a high horse of sheer ignorance and will blare Ponzi scheme at every given opportunity even when confronted with facts and realities as regards MMM. This group of people would rather remain as they were while others around them are making progress; the only thing positive in their outlook is waiting for a day when they will have the opportunity to mock the fate of others, the opportunity to say with gusto “I was right”. They fail to realize that life itself is a risk, when you take risks, you win some and you lose some, not taking risks at all because of not wanting to lose makes one the ultimate loser. Even though some of them have been barely making ends meet and have directly or indirectly benefitted from the ‘MMM’ money they have so derided, this ephemeral moral victory is enough to fill their probably empty bellies. What I know and I know so well is ‘’even if MMM crashes’’ and given the circumstances, I will still participate over and over again, a resolution that applies to millions of other participants who have imbibed the MMM ideology. I make bold to say that this is the only platform that has brought smiles to the faces of millions of Nigerians and made millionaires of out of them in such a short period of time!!! No government policy or initiative in recent times has brought more hope and succour in such a short time span. It has rather been a plethora of unfulfilled promises, dashed hopes, sorrows tears and blood. In actual fact, government has been the biggest Ponzi operator in Nigeria, robbing and ripping citizens off for the benefit of a corrupt and undeserving few. Folks that have seemingly lost all hopes and disconcerted with happenings around them now approach life with renewed confidence and enthusiasm, dead businesses now have new life injected into them, students have been able to pay their tuition, crimes have arguably been reduced and even the economy hasn’t been left out, with increased liquidity and trade volumes at a time when recession has almost stifled life out of the Nigerian economy. I know of folks who barely had tens of thousands in their bank accounts who now have hundreds of thousands, not to talk of those that are now millionaires, who probably never had such hopes at least not anytime soon. Those naysayers would have rather we traded all of that and remain like we ‘were’. Some believe that MMM participants are lazy and greedy folks, but the fact is amongst these participants are great minds, intellectuals and professionals that cut across different fields and sectors of the economy, contributing their own quota to the growth of the economy, in fact when one looks at the farthest right side of the Mavro section on the MMM platform, there is a space titled ‘dreams’, meaning that MMM expects you to pursue your dreams, goals and aspirations with what you make from the system. MMM only wants to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, MMM only wants to make things easier for people when they pursue their dreams and aspirations. Some believe that the only way to make it in life is to work hard and harder, and anyone with riches that have not been seen/ viewed to work hard in their distorted realities must have cut corners or been a fraud. While this is not to cast away the place of working hard in pursuing one’s dream, it must be realised that having access to the right information sometimes is only what is needed to make a headway in life and not necessarily working hard, this is what distinguishes between the rich and the poor, the rich always have access to the right information to stay ahead of the pack and even pay over the top to get it. Apparently, not all Nigerians will join MMM, not even half the population, but those that have willingly participated should not be unjustly castigated or maligned for the choices they have made as they wouldn’t judge the critical ones for the choices they make with their lives also, live and lets live; each man to his own. It’s high time these critical elements stopped acting like they are other people’s moral compass or like they are in a position to determine what is good for others. Nobody is forcing anybody to join MMM, let people just focus on what they do and find happiness in it, there isn’t much to life than that. While these people may enjoy their and make a show of their momentary triumphalism, MMM will be back!! Better and stronger!!! And they will come again with their prediction of doom and gloom, patiently waiting for their moment of validation while Mavrodites will make bigger and bigger strides with their lives. And even if the malignant moment they are waiting for surfaces again, we will dwell on the good tides and happy memories it has brought us, because we’d rather be financially blessed because we were curious than broke because we were sceptical and because we know that life itself is inherently risky. There is only one big risk that should be avoided at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing!!! Adelaja Adefemi 100+ Guider
Is birthday cake should be a comprehensive book on how to rule a country...
Are you saying you've never celebrated your birthday with a cake? If yes, the next logical question will be, was the cake a comprehensive book on how successful you will be? A birthday cake is just what it is; A CAKE.
tafrica: Nigeria is not a serious nation. So if allegations weren't made against sport ministry, it wouldn't be asked to give details of 2016 budget spending. I believe this should be a standard for all ministries whether alleged of corruption or not; let us know how our money is being spent.
Can Reps ask that all ministries give details of their expenditures?
ACCOUNTABILITY SHOULD BE THE WATCH WORD. Let's stop worshipping some people as having integrity, we know you are upright, but just give account of your stewardship.
The problem is, why wait till now to ask about expenditure? In a normal country, audits are done on government ministries on a regular basis, yearly. This is all for show as far as i am concerned. They should just approve the funds and let the looting continue. Nigeria and by extension, Nigerians, are not serious about stamping out corruption.
Saying zombies defend Buhari is like saying zombies are defending Nigerians. If Buhari is slow, it is because Nigerians are mostly slow. If Buhari is a dullard, it is because Nigerians are mostly dull. If Buhari is ignorant, it is because Nigeria is an ignorant society. Buhari is a reflection of the psychological and moral representation of Nigerians. Remember, people vote for leaders who they think are like them. No one coerced them into placing their ballots for him. They saw a reflection of him in their daily lives. Now that you all are confronted with who truly represents your ideals, you are all shocked and flabbergasted. It is like looking in a mirror and not liking what you see. It will happen again. Nigeria has a history of it's people not learning from past mistakes. People who don't acknowledge history and their mistakes are doomed to repeat them. If you listen to fela's songs he released in the 70's, you'd think he released them just yesterday. What does that tell you?

Don't mind him. He knows most Nairalanders are duller than a blunt knife and yet he is throwing out big English. How does he expect us to know what Grandiose means not to talk of Grandiosity?
