Attempts to resuscitate him failed. He died of shock from excessive blood loss from gunshot injuries.
As he lay down dying and begging for help I just though of all his victims who had also begged for mercy and had received no mercy and the many opportunities was provided to turn around and become a better person. Anyone else see the hyperbole in the headline? It's like Nigerians go to school nowadays just to sign an attendance register. One man-Robbery-Squad. Really? How does one person become a squad? Nigerians and English are like oil and water. They don't mix. |

Johnnyessence: for those whose mavro is up to one month but you can't GH, don't worry; within 24 hours the eligible ones will be released so they can GH. The system has to freeze all at the same time (both the eligible and ineligible ones) so that it'll then take time to release the ones up to 30 days. NOTE: all these are measures to ensure that MMM stays alive till and beyond 2017. Our rush to GH has now been slowed down, for the sustainability of our community. MMM pays! Together we build the world!! *Guider Chuudy* This is the explanation... Dear mavrodians, my mission here is to make us properly understand this new message that seems to be causing panic out there in the hearts of all MMM participants. The message does NOT say that nobody will be able to GH until January, instead the message is saying that you will not be able to GH until after 30days that you actually made the payment of your PH and the recipient confirms. Meaning that your money must actually spend minimum of 30days outside. So for example, if you PH 100K on 5th November, and you are matched to pay on 10th November, assuming that you made the payment but the recipient does not confirm your order until 15th November when he finally comfirms receipt of your payment. From that instant (15th November), your mavros will change status to "CONFIRMED" ( irrespective of colour Blue or Green ) , so you will only be able to request for help (GH) on that particular 100k + 30% growth as from 15th December. It is not that you can't GH before January. Please spread this to all your downlines and all participants that you know. Keep telling yourself that. |

hopefulLandlord: no mind those deluded people It is a contributory reason why people believe in fake news nowadays. It is very prevalent in places like America and Europe. The logic is; if you can believe in an imaginary being, then you should be able to believe in statements and comments irrespective of facts. It makes sense to them because it makes them FEEL good. Damn the facts. They prefer to get their news from unverifiable sources like facebook and twitter. Just last week, a man shot up a pizza joint in the U.S because he read somewhere on facebook that a sex slave gang owned by Hillary Clinton operated there. Can you imagine? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Uyo Church Collapse: This Is How I Lost My Only Sister - Photos by fkdmods: 11:56am On Dec 14, 2016 |
hopefulLandlord: what folly?
when would be the right time to criticise this imaginary god of theirs?
If you bring it up when people are praying to god after a tragedy, you'll be written off as insensitive by many.
If you bring it up when people are simply praying to god to avoid something tragic occurring, you'll get a similar response
If you bring it up when people just make a simple prayer to god, you're an asshole for criticizing someone who is simply praying and not hurting anyone.
If you bring it up when something actually happens because people tried to depend on the power of their god, you'll be written off for trying to exploit a tragedy once again, and be reminded that not all prayer ends in harm.
If you simply bring it up on your own, people will complain about why you're bringing it up at all, as religion is not something to be brought up in polite company
So we're frequently in a peculiar situation where you're expected to avoid challenging religion in every circumstance from idle chit chat to directly responding to religious beliefs directly contributing to someone's death. They don't want it brought up over anything trivial; they don't want it brought up over anything serious; they don't want it brought up at all. The idea that the topic is just being avoided during special circumstances is pure fiction. It's just easier for some people to make the complaint during a tragedy or trivial issue then at other times, but it is always being made. Ignorance is the bane of religious people. |

OLADD: Every sane mind knows EFCC erred in law by freezing the account of a sitting governor in an apparent violation of the constitution. Many people closed their eyes from the anomaly simply because it involved Fayose, forgetting that such precedence sets the tone for future anarchy. Successive presidents would use the infraction (if allowed to remain unchecked ) to deal with any governor who's opposed to their presidency. This judgement is a welcomed development. The truth is, there is zero respect for the law and normalcy in Nigeria. The source of fayose's funds are questionable. The actions of EFCC is questionable. The whole process is questionable. In fact, it stands to reason that the Nigerian thought process is questionable. Everyone does whatever the phuck they want. No nation can survive with that kind of mentality. |

You as a people cannot retain knowledge. You forget too easily. Also remember, people vote for leaders who they think are like them. No one coerced them into placing their ballots for him. They saw a reflection of him in their daily lives. Now that you all are confronted with who truly represents your ideals, you are all shocked and flabbergasted. It is like looking in a mirror and not liking what you see. It will happen again. Nigeria has a history of it's people not learning from past mistakes.
