kov624665:Then she doesn't want to indulge a beggar society . |
Youngpo413:May your new year be filled with the usual continuation of poverty, hunger and unhappiness of 2016. Say amen . |
softMarket:Nope. He just doesn't want to indulge a beggar society. |
whirlwind7:And yet with this knowledge, Nigerians still clamor for the same kind of leadership. There is an i.dot calling for an Atiku2019 presidency on this forum. Does that sound like a people who want a better life? Stop blaming your leaders. They wouldn't exist but because of you since leaders are picked from the citizenry by the citizenry. The problems of Nigeria are just too obvious and it has nothing to do with leadership. |
chronique:One can make the same argument about men. |
maxisaso:No its not. She has a right to do whatever she wants but don't come here to tell us it's beautiful. |
Crasome:Lol. Who should I be grateful to? For your information, I am grateful to math, logic, common sense, statistics, etc. When you are still on your knees praying to an imaginary God for something you can do by yourself for yourself, I am on my feet breaking boundaries and achieving every imaginable thing in sight. You better wake up in the coming year. |
Very funny. He was removed from office because another despot more hungry for power that he is decided it was his turn. Nigeria is and will always be a jungle where might is right and it's the survival of the fittest and the most vicious. You all should be thankful that OBJ as useless as he is, did something smart. He dismantled and retired all the military cabals which secured the democracy you all enjoy at the moment. How long will it last though? |
spartan117:You do understand that you live in a country where the absurd happens on a daily basis right? |
idupaul:Bros, we are not talking about googling and that is not what the topic is about. And correction, it is four radios to a platoon. One for each squad leader and one for the Lt and platoon SGT. Plus not to mention the vehicle comms. Smh. And like i said, this is not what the topic is about. It is about the inability of the Nigerian Govt to provide the basic equipment needed for it's Soldiers to be successful in and out of conflict areas. All of a sudden, all of you have forgotten news of soldiers lacking basic equipment to do their jobs abi? Even the ones they have, you can tell they either are not properly trained to use these equipment or the discipline need to maintain it are not being enforced. I really don't understand why you guys like burying your heads in the sand to deny the obvious. Most, like you, are thoroughly uninformed and rely erroneously on google or just don't care. I tire for una i swear. |
spartan117:You still don't understand. It's not that radios don't exist for them to use but the willingness to provide it. You just said it, they were part of a peace keeping force and had no option but to provide standard equipment to be part of that peace keeping force. I believe it completely. Why? Because i am a soldier myself and just from the pictures that are always plastered here on NL, you can tell that they lacked, and are lacking much more than radios. |
spartan117:Are you sure you understand Nigeria? What is hard to believe here? Is this not Nigeria where the absurd occurs on a daily basis. We all know that radios were used in the civil was and so were bullets but haven't you heard of the lack of ammunition at the war front with BH? If that happened then why is it difficult to believe they have been using text messages, which is unheard of by the way, as a means of communication? You all better wake up. |
buygala:Do you know what condolence means? Smh. |
stellytwinkle:Keep on praying. Like prayers can solve anything. Lol. |
Youngpo413:MyGermanFriend: E be like say e Don gree say Im jam pesin wey strong pass am. Me: Looooooooool. ![]() |
A Nigerian man went reluctantly to a doctor for check up because his wife forced him to since he wasn't feeling well. After the check up, the doctor who was from Germany, sat him down to give him his diagnosis. After the German finished speaking, he expected a response but the Nigerian just gave him a blank stare. The German reiterated what he had earlier said but no response. A Nigerian doctor working in the same hospital noticed what was happening and offered to help. The German doctor, frustrated welcomed his assistance. The Nigerian doctor said, "witches and wizards from your village de attack you and the oga patapata na your mama". The Nigerian patient jumped up and yelled, "I talk am", and ran out of the hospital. The German doctor was dumbfounded and asked what just happened. The Nigerian doctor went on to explain that majority of Nigerians are brain dead and don't respond to logic like normal people do. If you need to explain anything to them, just add, witch, wizard, spirit, pastor, ogbanje, God, mammy water, satan, jazz, etc, into the conversation and you will get a positive response. |
EdoNation:Every time i read comments like this, i get this pang of sorrow and pity i feel towards you all. You all make it sound like all these started with buhari. The unfortunate thing is worse things are coming and there is no way to prevent it because for some reason, you all cannot accept what the problem is. Newsflash; it's going to get worse. Much much worse. With or without buhari. |
JohnnyNY: akindavids:This coming from a Nigerian. You guys can be so funny. Is this not a country where you guys set suspects on fire on a daily basis? Or am i missing something? Oh, i understand now. It is ok when you do it to yourselves but definitely not when others do it to you. How dare they? Don't they understand that only Nigerians have the right to be barbaric animals? |
chronique:You people can so take things out of context just to soothe you egos. Are you trying to tell me men don't do worse things. I could give you a laundry list of crimes men commit. Why una be like this na? |
shakaZuIlu:Any foool can talk. What counts are your actions and what you have done. Disregard the words. Focus on the actions of people. What has fayose done aside perpetuating the poverty and dilapidation in his state? Nigerians are the dullest people one can encounter. This is the same mentality that galvanized these m.orons to go out en masse to vote for that senile old man. Based on your logic, he must be doing something right because he is talking right? Buhari talked too. Why won't you choose fayose? If i was mentally and morally bankrupt and my options were limited to a collection of nonentities i probably would too. But i'm not so i know better. I really feel sorry for you all. You thinks it's bad now? Guy, it's going to get worse. Much much worse. With or without Buhari. Partly because the majority have the same thought process you have. Unfreaking believable. Smh. Oh, before you go on about how God will never let that happen, let me help you because you guys don't think that far ahead. Nigeria has been in existence for more than half a century and not one real leader to point to. Why do you think that is and why do you think by some miracle 2019 will bring forth one? |
Benita27:You are right. He is also the psychological and moral representation of who Nigerians are. You talk as if he voted himself into the presidency. A people will vote for whoever they see as someone they can identify with. They knew very well the kind of person he was seen as he was president before but they did not care. Now that they are faced with their image they are shocked and flabbergasted. Lol. Integrity, morality, intellect are not a big consideration for Nigerians. What matters is who can promise them the moon even if it does not make sense. The fact that anyone can take fayose seriously proves my point. Nigerians don't care. What is important is their stomach and how to fill it by any means possible. You guys think it's bad now then you don't know what's coming. It's going to get worse. Much much worse with or without Buhari. |
shakaZuIlu:And here is the reason you all will be in bondage till the end of time. Obviously shakazulu is a 12 year old else he would not have compared Fayose to Awo. If there was a leader Nigeria or at least the west truly had, it was Awo. Flawed but selfless. He is a major reason the west advanced quicker than anywhere else in Nigeria till this day with his free education for all. Nigerians don't know their history and are doomed to make the mistakes of their past. How anyone can put Awolowo and Fayose in the same sentence is beyond me. A man that has done absolutely nothing for his state not to talk of the yoruba race. Well, as i have always said, a country deserves the leaders it has. This is the reason Nigeria is such a lovely well developed country today . |
Flexherbal:That person does not exist yet. If there is, he/she is a dead man walking. |
Angelmikeal:You've been hanging around one too many cows . |
mrteee:Lol. You all have a history of looking up to the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Look no further than the fact that it has been over half a century of existence and not one decent leader to point to else the country would not be a cesspit it is today. The qualities a normal person should be interested in you all overlook. I wonder how you all think? |
nickxtra:Because he's young? I don't get it. You and i know next to nothing about the guy and here you are hailing him. Nigerians are so easily dazzled. Smh. |
FreeSpirited:This goes far beyond fulani herdsmen. Nigerians generally do not value life. I am not really shocked because it is normal. Is this not the same country where a suspect is murdered in the streets on a daily basis on in the name of justice. If it is normal to do that, then it is normal to expect this as well. The government is supposed to come out and denounce things like jungle justice but if they don't how do you expect them to denounce this? |
Estharfabian:Yup. On Pluto. |
ishowdotgmail:It is not about one chance. It is about the s.tupidity of the average Nigerians. You can tell them anything and they will believe. It is so easy to dazzle them. I am not sure the brain of most Nigerians are wired correctly. And when you tell them the truth, they attack you. I told a lot of people here that you cannot win the war on terror with guns. If not anything, we can learn from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Terrorism has been in existence since the time of Jesus Christ. How do you think world war 1 started? Because of a terrorist. And they called me a wailer. People just don't read anymore. They are too busy phucking around on twitter and facebook. Another misconception is people think things will be different if another president is elected. I laugh in wafi. It won't. In fact, it will get worse. Much, much worse, with or without Buhari. I wonder why you guys can't figure out the obvious problem. Smh. |
michoim:Lol. Guess what? That is the same thing you all said in 1960, then in 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007,2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016. No be by mouth dem de take change something. Nigerians do not deserve a good country because they have not shown that they want one. How do you bring forth a good country filled with bad people? |
Flexherbal:TB Joshua is a tool but he got that right. Every Nigerian, past and present, dead or alive, is to blame for the woes of the country. When you give or take bribes, litter, participate in jungle justice, tribalize, loot, vote based on cash and not on conscience, etc, you are directly crippling the country. Kenyans or Ugandans aren't the ones doing it but Nigerians to themselves. The sooner Nigerians start taking responsibilities for their actions, the better for them. It is not by magic that for more than half a century of existence the country has not been able to produce one decent leader. |
