Science/Technology › Re: My Prepaid Meter Tripping Off And On by Fkj2021: 2:07pm On Mar 12, 2024 |
I had the same issue last year. There's a black box that is close to the prepaid meter, that's the issue. You have to get in touch with a NEPA official or an electrician who has contact with NEPA official who can sell that black box for him (the black box is only sold by NEPA people).
It cost me 30k in total as at December to do then. |

mimini: How is someone who is outside the country defend his project? I thought that since its a distance learning things can be done without the person being present. Can a Masters student write exams and defend his project from abroad? It is possible to defend your project from outside the country. Just let your Project desk officer know that you are outside the country and he or she will take permission from your department to defend from whenever you are. The Desk officer only needs to identify you the day of the defence. |

mimini: Thank you for your response. I am concerned because, I want to begin my Masters with NOUN and won't be available physically but only online through exams, project and defend. I want to be sure I can do this with NOUN before making a decision. Although, I will be available for verification, but online for the others. Do you think its possible? You can with good guidance. Get the contact of a trusted Admin officer from your centre you can rely on for information and you are good to go. Join the Centre's social media group for constant information. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Want To Virtually Mentor Just One Person To Become A Front-end Developer. by Fkj2021: 6:58am On Nov 27, 2023 |
Kepukepu: I want to mentor one person to become a frontend developer in 4 months.
Who is a front end developer? A frontend developer is someone who's well grounded in engineering client-side of websites and web apps.
A frontend developer is not a web designer, what do I mean by this? A frontend developer goes beyond just copying and pasting codes to create websites. A frontend developer must be well-grounded in not just interpretating codes but in data structure and algorithm, which will enable you to solve programming problems by using logic. It requires critical thinking which is a skill that is learnt. A front-end developer is that person that big tech companies are looking for and not someone that copies codes. A frontend developer must be familiar with collaborative tools like version control(github), Linux command lines and UI/UX principles and tools like figma and sketch( this is necessary in order to be able to work with product designers).
It's a skill that takes time to learn, you can learn basics in 4 months and then hone your skills. In 1 to 2 years, you will become an industry ready frontend developer and you can even work as a product designer if you are good in UI/UX tools. A product designer with strong html/CSS, Javascript and js frameworks background is a hot cake. To learn this, you need to have a laptop with at least 8gig ram (4 gig can still work), 500gig HDD and constant internet connection, average of 50/60gig per month. While you can learn writing codes and data structure using some mobile IDEs, to make use of some important libraries, run tests, bundle dependencies to create single page apps and also run commandlines for version control engagement, you will need a laptop I'm a frontend developer and sincerely, it's a field that will challenge even the smartest person on earth. I am interested. I have a laptop with the required specifications and I don't run out of data. |

Politics › Are You In Favour Of Or Against Forgery? by Fkj2021(op): 5:21pm On Oct 05, 2023 |
There are Nigerians who have shown various talents and abilities, but there have been instances where they have demonstrated inconsistent behavior. The question that arises is: why was Mmesoma persecuted after it was verified that she falsified her JAMB result? Similarly, why was Kemi compelled to resign for forging her NYSC certificate? And why are you endorsing Tinubu despite confirmation that he forged his certificate? It is important to take a clear stance on this matter: are you in favor of or against forgery? There is no neutral position to adopt here. |
