I am using this medium to wish OBJ a happy birthday considering the fact that he is a shameless, selfish, greedy, corrupt, demonic & sick old man Naija was unfortunate to have as a ruler! You shall reap the evil fruits of your labour. You install Shagari whose government took us 20 years back, not contended, you also installed late Yar A'dua whose tenure almost set this country ablaze, now you are planning to install someone who did not dream of leaving his native fishing community as president. May God never allow you and your cohorts succeed! You always support enemies of democracy, Adedibu [garrison commander! haba!], Alao Akala, Odili, you also said Amaechi's candidacy has K-Leg; You called Mimiko a thief because he did not heed your advice not to run; what about Oyinlola, It is a shame! |

Same as every other PDP governors, ex & serving! What has happened to all those implicated in the Harllibuton scandal? What about Siemens? OBJ built a mansion on the rock in his home state, what has happened? What has happened to Fayose of Ekiti State. What about Andoakaa? I just laugh at the stupidity of those in power! The president's wife had a case with EFCC while he was governor of Bayelsa, what has happened? We read of recently that the case file has dissappeared! |
what did president goodluck ebele azikiwe jonathan achieve as governor of bayelsa state? somebody should please list one! even while in ompadec/nddc, luck can not provide food on the table neither can it provide electricity! he is setting up universities in states where the existing ones are under funded! who are his advisers? gosh!!!!!!!!!!!! |
BG has always been a shameless human being since his days in the Navy just like his mentor, OBJ. Where did they all get the riches that they are flaunting now. All their entitlements as military officers can not build them a house in even in the outskirt of Lagos! |
Waiting for the results of my first HIV test was quite scary for me. I was talked into authorising the medical team to include it as part of the series of test to be done during the annual medical test at my place of work. It is actually not compulsory but for my own sake i did it and it was like I waited forever for the result! Eventually the admin stafff called me to meet with the doctor during which he explained the outcome of all the test to me and I was lucky HIV status was negative. Since then I have been doing it annually. I advise everyone to go for it, you get a bit of relief when you discover that you are Negative and it would help you live your life safely. For those who unfortunately come out positive, it will help you manage yourself and save others as well. Cheers. |

I expected nothing short of this from the father of all bastards (according to Fayose)! |
You won't get the support you want on nairaland. if you are tired of your marriage go ahead and QUIT! You make it sound like you are a perfect human being yourself. From experience, people start complaining bout their marriages when they start having toasters or illicit affairs. How long has he being like his? You knew him before you married him or was he forced on you. If you have made a mistake in life live with it or move on. Stop being a bad role model unto others! |
Cock n bull story, stupidly composed |
The whole story is a CRAP! see some fools posting their gsm numbers for you to call them, keep fantasising! |
What is not a big stress in life? People should not single marriage out because they have had a sorry experience. Marriage is sweet if the foundation is good and solid!!!!!!! A lot just jump into marriage without know their partners. Not caring to find out if they are compatible. Some see the signs but ignore them only to cry later. Your partner disrespects you right from the beginning but you go ahead and marry him/her because he/she has money, is it all about wealth? big car? beauty? handsomeness? being sociable? Marriage is a life time thing, go into it for the right reasons! |
I rejoice with the Ekiti people and say a BIG shame to : Maurice Iwu, Mrs Adebayo, Mr. O. Obasanjo and other enemies of democracy. SHAME! |
It's a classic proof that dedication and complete preseverance pays in the long run. I watched the documentary and marvelled at the way people, despite their very terrible situation in life still, kept their spirits high! FROM REFUSE DUMP TO LONDON O2 ARENA AND A RECORD DEAL! God bless you my brother! |
I thought Turai would have kept the corpse till the end of his tenure! Seems she's scared of the spirits, I have pity for the departed but the wife, NO WAY. A selfish, greedy and demonic woman! |
A lot of these fuel attendants are out to exploit unsuspecting motorists. They use all sorts of means to distract you in order to fraudulently dispense fuel to you. One of their common strategy is to ensure that they dispense fuel to an okada man just before they sell to their victim. If one is not alert enough, they end up commencing your purchase from where that of the okada ended. Atimes they point out something that is not well placed in/on your car or a rusty party of the fuel tank cover (playing good samaritan in the process). Once your attention is diverted or divided, THEY STRIKE. |
My heart goes to all the families of all those that lost their lives. We are so unfortunate in this country, so so unfortunate! Mishaps occur and the news is suppressed. Our President is sick, the news is suppressed, our banks were in deep shit, Soludo suppressed the news, our airlines were flying coffins, the news was suppressed. When shall we start accepting our faults in order to forge a better way forward? On Tuesday February 16, 2010 a guy was taking his kids to school in his car and another high tension cable suddenly snapped and was swinging in a scary way and it landed on this guy's jeep, there were blue flames and all. It was a miracle that he managed to get his car out of harms way with his kids. He was totally shaken after the incident. Thank God no one died. PHCN eventual sent a team to rectify it some hours later. |
We are unfortunately blessed with lots of comedians as leaders! We all know what the constitution says. CAN THE SENATE EMPOWER A VICE PRESIDENT TO ACT AS PRESIDENT ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If the Senate could, the constitution wouldn't have requested the President to tranmit, It is such a pity! A great pity! A country as blessed as ours could be endowed with VISIONLESS & SELFISH LEADERS! |
Waow! This is a great discovery! You must have been very very observant to have noticed. Please invite NTA Newsline to interview all of them. Good work! |
@ poster: since you have covered her face, our help can only be limited based on the features we see. For starters, I saw someone putting on that same outfit a few days ago. It was at mega plaza. Who knows, she could be the one, same top, trousers and all, |
Why are your topics centred around the same thing? |
You make me laugh ![]() |
I guess they are happy because it's a sign that their food was sweet. Abi? |
He is in the grave, died long long long ago. Sorry, i guess you would have to wait for the next generation. Good luck (jonathan?) ;-) |
You do not believe me because your cousin went to SA and an SA cleaner stole her jewelry. Does your statement exonerate Nigerians from the fact that we do drugs there? You do not need to believe me. Hotel workers steal all over the world! That's not news! My friend, I met some nigerians out there and I know what they told me. A friend gave me some traditional attires to hand over to his brother in SA. Trust me, i told him I was going to check every inch of the material. THIS I DID BEFORE TRAVELLING! When eventually I got there and called his brother on the phone number he gave, he came and picked up the items from my hotel. We had a drink at the bar and he left. Strangely enough, he called me the next evening to say he was at the hotel reception to see me. I went downstairs and found out that he came with another nigerian. I bought them drinks and they started narrating how they managed to get to SA by road. It took them 6months of hardship. They have no house. They claim to sleep in the small car they had. They acknowledged that I had a good job and that no condition is permanent bla bla bla. When they called me from the reception the next time they came I told the receptionist she should tell them i wasn't around. kpolli: |
It seems a lot of Nigerians do not accept the truth. Whenever issues are raised, instead of addressing them, we end up attacking persons. Are we saying it is a lie that we are into drugs and all sort of criminal activities in South Africa? Let us accept the truth! It will help us deal with the issues! I have visited South Africa a couple of times while on vacation. The first bad news I ever got about my Nigerian brothers was in the hotel where I lodged (can’t remember the name of the hotel again but it was in Sandton city). It was from the kitchen staff!!!!!!! They wanted to know if I was American. I answered in the negative and told them I was a Nigerian. And they started whispering…the next comment they made was that Nigerians love flashy cars. Ignorantly and proudly I told them that a typical Nigerian can save all his salary for 2yrs just to buy the best car. They disagreed and told me that in SA, they do drugs! On that same trip, I was also made to feel as proud as a King! It was on an excursion to Nelson Mandela’s first house in Soweto. A small one-bed room apartment which he shared with his erstwhile wife, Winnie. It has actually turned into a tourist attraction. Amongst the tourists were people from virtually all parts of the world. I got to know because the guide asked for our nationalities. When he found out there were a few Nigerians amongst the crowd, surprisingly he told everybody to clap for Nigeria. I felt so proud. He told everybody how Nigerian workers contributed part of their salaries to fight the apartheid regime in South Africa. Everyone looked at us with envy. On my second trip, I got to know of an area call HILLBROW (with lots of highrise buildings) in Jo’burg. It has become notorious for drug activities. To my utter disappointment majority of the occupants of the area are Nigerians. An average South African is SCARED of going there! If you drive through Hillbrow you would see young Nigerians hanging on the streets doing drug business like we see in the movies. The police raid the place regularly to no avail. I was at the lobby of an hotel once reading the dailies when a white south African sitting next to me asked if I was an American. I proudly told him I was a Nigerian. He kept quiet for a few minutes and followed it up with questions. He wanted to know if I was based in SA, bla bla bla. He became comfortable with me when he found out I work in Nigeria and only came to SA on vacation. He was excited and started telling me all sorts. I was really surprised when he asked if I was from a particular section of Nigeria. I told him where I was from and stories continued. A ‘few’ bunch are really doing a lot of damage to our name. I feel really sad whenever I am subjected to all sorts of ‘special treatment’ just because I am a Nigerian. |
We Nigerians should stop raising unnecessary sentiments whenever we are accused of criminality. I agree that there are so many Nigerians doing legit business all over the world but a small fraction is tainting our IMAGE! This small fraction, because of our population, is a large number of people when compared with other nations! |
Out of all the traditional leaders we have which does not benefit from government contracts? Some abandon the contracts they are given and nothing happens! i do not have any respect for more than 95% of them. We still remember the roles they played during the Abacha days. They are busy amassing wealth that some of them will only spend in ill health! |
