CrimeRe: Marital Rape by FKseun(m): 11:58pm On Feb 10, 2008
Marital Rape? A lot of the ladies these days know not what they want! No wonder a lot of marriages don't last beyond 5years. A husband raping his wife? There's no rape in marriage! I find a lot of things difficult to understand. How many of you are married. I am talking to those contributing to this post. Please define what rape is,

CareerRe: I'm Working At NNPC But Not Being Paid by FKseun(m): 7:06pm On Jan 15, 2008
@poster
From the look of things, your post was done with an hidden agenda. Companies have the right to make policies that suits their operations. You were obviously informed from the outset of your entitlements during the 6months IT. At least you acknowledged that you are being paid lunch allowance. I bet you won't admit it that you also join the NNPC staff bus to/from work. Don't grumble over nothing. NNPC is a government ministry! You should be grateful that you even have a slot for your industrial training there. You are already boosting your CV. Learn what you can while there and move on! Good luck.
HealthRe: Should The Toilet Seat Be Up Or Down? by FKseun(m): 9:34pm On Jan 12, 2008
The toilet seat should be up all the time. If a female needs to use it, all she does is put it down. Guys should always put it up even if they meet it down. I appreciate guys with good toilet manners.
CareerRe: What Professional Exams Do I Need For Oil Jobs? by FKseun(m): 9:30pm On Jan 12, 2008
Hi
Admitting what one needs publicly requires a lot of guts. I respect you for this. I am working in one of the multinational oil & gas companies. The competition for getting employed in this sector has gotten stiffer since the industry started applying the local content rule in all its dealings (contracts, employment, social responsibility, etc). Unlike those days when they had their head quarters in Lagos and application was done by writtten mail. Now it's online and with a certain quota going to graduates from the host communities. I am not saying graduates from other regions are not employed. Don't get me wrong. Your best bet would be to check the websites of the multinationals regularly and even submit your application even when no vacancy exist. You shouldn't be surprised if you receive an invitation to an aptitude test. What they do these days is to check their database of applications and contact those that meet their requirements. The truth of the matter is that too much focus is beamed on this industry and most of the companies are publicity-shy. Especially when it comes to scrutinity. It happens regularly. I wish you good luck.

Too many ignorant and childish comments, I would say huh
Please stop making comments about what you know not! Instead ask for genuine info from those living there. Some talked about a civil war as if it's a computer game. Were they born during the last civil war? Do they know what a war is? Wake up guys!

F**K the law. As we all know, the law is an ass! The rich can twist into any shape to suit their actions. Some kill and claim provocation, but has it changed the fact that you took a fellow human being's life? What is wrong is wrong. F**K the law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why we are breaking our heads over these OBJ-related issues! The man and his family have set this nation backwards for another 8yrs or more! The late Fela knew him to be a thief long ago. Admit it or not! What is the difference between the OBJs and the Abachas? OBJ was a financial wreck before he came out of prison and 8yrs after, he's a billionaire! His cousin was involved in the national ID card scam. I learnt another one is involved in NEPA. His in-law is involved in the current Police Trust Fund scandal. Just keep naming them. Time will reveal more. I pity my country and pity myself. While others are moving forward, we are here going in a circle. People will not speak the truth because of tribalism. F, K

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Im Married But I Need A Male Friend by FKseun(m): 5:09pm On Nov 15, 2007
Most times we tend to get carried away by sentiments. In my few decades on earth, I have come to realise that humans tend to make reports of their situation with fellow human beings in a way that would score for them higher points. We all know that he that sues another is not necessarily going to be the winner of the case. In cases involving husbands and wives the complainants never say the whole truth to 3rd parties until the 2 parties involved are present. You would then hear comments like: "was that what he/she told you?" A very close friend once complained about certain issues about his wife. As a 3rd party I just couldn't imagine why she didn't want to make love to him. If I had allowed sentiments to becloud my reasoning, maybe I would have advised him to go 'take care of himself outside'. The issue degenerated so much that I had no option than to call them together. It was then the cat was let out of the bag. HE HAD INFECTED THE WIFE WITH STD AND THERE WAS NO PROOF THAT HE HAD BEEN TREATED. That made her feel unsafe making love to him. The solution: I encouraged the two of them to visit a good clinic, run tests and get treatment if need be. The are still happily together today.

Na wa o! See the different subtle ways of soliciting sex from someone else's wife. The comforters!!! Some guys are just not worth more than the value of their d**ks. Some can't even be entrusted with an HIV positive old woman. huh The sad thing is that, if we find out, all these friendship respondents are young and single. No one can cheat nature! sleep with someone's wife and someone else will sleep with yours! As for you that require a male friend, do what you got to do. You will definitely reap the fruit of your labour. Same goes for your husband. Good luck!!!

My advice: Do what you think is proper for you. Be careful when you make post on NAIRALAND about matters of the heart. You may think the party involved is not into NAIRALAND but you would get disappointed with your act because your post reveals a lot. Wish you the best. Am talking from experience, but I achieved my intention of rubbishing my target.

The best amala I ever ate was the one prepared by a room in Federal Poly Ado-Ekiti, in Ekiti State. The guy prepared it like a professional! I could eat it without soup! Really hot, black and shinning! All these with freshly made ewedu soup.
CultureRe: Are Nigerian Men Lazy Or Just Completely Insensitive? by FKseun(m): 11:57pm On Nov 10, 2007
You never see anything! You are talking about carrying load? Well, I guess you are not a Nigerian. Visit some villages in Bayelsa, the women do fend for the family (fishing & farming) while the men drink ogogoro and play 'draft' while she's gone. My friend, certain things are peculiar to certain people. In india, the women pay the bride price (bridegroom price?). Check out the rate at which husbands kill their wives in the western world, is it comparable to africa? Why don't you copy that one? A lot of men and women cohabit and have children without being married in the western world, why don't you recommend that for africans? Do we call our women bitches in africa? You know what? Some of we blacks just want to be whiter than the whites. You would need a lot of concentrated acid to take you a bit near being white because bleaching creams won't do it. Just wake up Mr. Perfection.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend's Best Friend Is A Guy And I'm Jealous! by FKseun(m): 12:27am On Nov 07, 2007
Yes, I agree that the "BEST FRIEND" existed in her life before the boyfriend "came calling". It's also the same situation parents genuinely find themselves before another girl or boy comes into their son/daughter's life. It's the one that you intend to live the rest of your life with that you give priority. How would she feel if she's serious about a guy and way into their relationship a female "best friend" of her guy keeps a prominent role?
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend's Best Friend Is A Guy And I'm Jealous! by FKseun(m): 9:30pm On Nov 06, 2007
A lot of us don't like facing reality. There is nothing like VERY GOOD FRIENDS when it involves the opposite sex. The guy either likes the babe for sex or vice versa and the right opportunity has not come. Just wait and see. There's nothing like trust when it involves 2 Ps! That was how my wife told me how close she is to one of her male cousins until they had opportunity to pass the night at a friend's place after a wedding. The ass**** actually wanted to sleep with her. I saw the emails he was sending to her box about his intentions.  I deleted everything before she could see them.

PoliticsGovernor's Mum Kidnapped! by FKseun(op): 5:54pm On May 01, 2007
The mother of the Rivers State governor-elect, Sir Celetine Omehia has been kidnapped! Imagine the level the militancy in the south-south has gotten to. The other time, they tried to kidnap the governor of Bayelsa state - he was lucky to escape. Intelligence reports have it that Sir Omehia was actually with his mum in the village when the boys came calling but his security details were able to smuggle him out but the militants decided to go with his mum. What is going to happen now?

It is a well known fact that the politicians in Rivers are the 'creators' of the militancy problem currently tarnishing the image of the niger deltat and the country. The militants are boys that are well known in the communities as hoodlums but the politicians engage them to carry out private missions during politics. These missions range from terrorising opponents to kidnapping and maiming/killing them. They provide arms and intelligence report for them. A typical example is that of a former minister who was using the notorious Tom Ateke to terrorising his village, Okrika. Now he can not walk the streets of Okrika a freeman due to the hatred he has created for himself from the locals and breakaway factions of the group that he is godfather.

Car TalkRe: Why Buy A Hummer Jeep? by FKseun(m): 8:35pm On Mar 26, 2007
There's nothing wrong in buying a hummer jeep or any loud jeep for that matter. The problem is that when you start driving or exhibiting such affluence in a society like ours where security is 'expensive' even for the rich, then there's a problem. There's so much glaring poverty in the land. You would need to watch you back everywhere you go. No that kidnapping has been discovered to be lucrative, God help us all.
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Militants Kidnap 8 Highway Workers by FKseun(m): 10:45am On Mar 25, 2007
Hi guys
I have come to conclude that some of you do not know sh*t about the Niger Delta other than the few stuffs you have read in the dailies. The guys kidnapping expatriates down here are all criminals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An average ND does not take part in such! I hope you guys remembered when every politician in the southwest claimed to be a champion of the Awolowo legacy just to win public sympathy and votes. It's the same pot of tea. These kidnappers are crude oil bunkerers who have come to realise that ransom is better money bunkering crude.

A lot of people are quick to abuse all Niger Deltans. I guess it's the same thing when foreigners see all nigerians as 419ers. It's the cross they have to carry until the system is cleansed.
