heskeyw:When used as a modal auxillary verb, the word 'need' doesn't take an 's' or a past tense form. It's used to express compulsion. So it depends on d speaker. |

craziebone:Why do u show such level of ignorance in a public forum? Italy's game this break will be held in palermo. B4 d world cup, they had games in Naples, Parma and other places. They play in turin, sicily, verona, etc. Germany's last game vs ireland i think was played in d Signal d' Iduna park. They also played in other venues. 4 spain, i can't even remember when last they played at the Bernabue. SMH 4 ur ignorance. |
CFCfan:Guy abeg leave that one... |
craziebone:St Andrews' (Birmingham City). St Andrews' didn't host an Englnad international during this period. All the others hosted one game. Portman Road hosted England's 3-1 victory over Croatia in a friendly match in August 2003. The Riverside Stadium was the venue for a Euro 2004 qualifier in June 2003, in which England beat Slovakia 2-1. Pride Park's only international came in May 2001 when England beat Mexico 4-0 in a friendly. Old Trafford hosted the most England games, 14. Stamford Bridge followed with 4 matches, while St James' Park, Anfield, and Villa Park all hosted three matches. The City of Manchester Stadium held 2 games. Other stadiums to host one game over this period are the Stadium of Light, Walkers Stadium, St Mary's Stadium, Upton Park, and White Hart Lane. I rest my case. |
CFCfan:Hoping it says curruption-free. |
2n2k:On d positive side, there're more professional clubs in Lagos than they're stadia. Imagine 2 strong clubs playing in both stadia. Hmmm, what a local derby... The stadia in london are nt too far away 4rm each other and yet they're all relevant. So who says we can't have two functional stadia in surulere? |
CFCfan:That always looks like the easiest thing to suggest. Let's not forget that d LASG govt hasn't yet transformed the Teslim Balogun stadium, surulere to that world class stadium we dream of. Atleast they shld start 4rm somewhere... |
CFCfan:Yeah. The idea behind moving their national team to other venues is actually because of that NFL deal. England might continue in wembley after 2017, but if the NFL deal goes thru, then they'll have to rotate their matches with other stadia across the country. |
Joejonah:what are u hearing? Tell us o. Let us know if some of us might need to forget school and go and learn work. |
omar22:B4 d construction of d new wembley we have today, England play matches in stadia across d country and they always had d studium filled to capacity. Reason because football belongs to d fans/masses and nt d londoners only. The locals are always excited when d national team is brought to their locality, We see this happening in other parts of europe. England play all their games in wembley presently 'cos their's a contract keeping them there 'til 2017. Mind u d English FA has plans to review that at d end of d contract. Wembley currently doesn't get filled up especially if England is playing against d so called small teams. |
omar22:Pls can u mention any football game played in abuja by d SE that had a full capacity? When last did u travel to any part of d country to watch d SE play? The europeans do that often. Economically, can u get up to 30 000 people to buy tickets for a qualifier/friendly in any city in d country? Each time we had such a crowd, it's because d govt offered free entry to people. Exept England, how many european football powerhouse play national games in a particular stadium? Consider italy, spain, germany, france, etc. The national team belongs to every Nigerian. Therefore I don't buy d idea of playing in one particular area. Any state that boost gud infrastructure shld be given d oppurtunity to host d SE matches. The national stadium might be reserved 4 big matches and on special occassions. Grande. |
Lemme use this medium to wish u all (delsu students) success in ur on-going examinations. |
OXYGEN011:I see ur standard education. Ur english teacher must be ashamed of u. "Killing yourselves" means each person commiting suicide. People kill 'each other' or 'one another'. The last time I checked, Nigeria isn't know 4 suicide. |
publicenemy:You seem to place so much importants on paper cert. In an ideal situation, I think people shld b paid based on their input and d results they produce, and nt based on whatever paper they have. |
Valstresser: Monthly sanitation is under concurrent list so is purely state affair nd not under exclusive list. The concurrent list is a federal and state affair. Eg, education, health care etc. Whereby d legislation of d state and federal govt clashes, then that of d federal govt overrules that of d state. It's as simple as that. |
If u want to change d world, u must dress ur bed first thing every morning. It's a psychological effect. think about it. |
DMilanista: Bonera is not injured. He was sent-off in d last match after using his hand to block a goal-bound shot. Abbiati is really a clown but I'm not too sure of Agazzi's prowess.Sorry that was a mistake. I'm jst happy that he's out of 2day's game. I personally like Bonera, but I hv neva seen him as a first team starter. Maybe as a squad player who fills in 4 an injured player or a sub. I don't know where d idea of playing him wen we hv Zapata, Rami, etc. on d bench. I saw that game vs Parma and his defending wasn't gud at all. |
Thank goodness 4 d injury of Bonera. I only regret d absence of Alex and Lopez. Hmmm...that clown called Abbiati... Forza Inzaghi. Forza Milan. |
